Mobility eVito Electric Vehicle Driving

Product Information

The product is an electric car that requires charging before and after use. The car generates a synthetic sound while driving up to 30 km/h to alert pedestrians. The range of the car is 340 km or 272 km under normal driving conditions according to the WLTP test cycle. The user can charge the car at GOFAST rapid-charging stations or Type 2 AC fast-charging stations, depending on the provider.

  • Manufacturer: Mobility
  • Model: Electric Car
  • Version: 1.1 (November 2020)

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before setting off: Check the vehicle for any damage. In case of damage, disconnect the charge cable from the vehicle and open the vehicle with the Mobility Card. Press the button with a plug symbol behind the charge flap to unlock the cable. The cable remains at the charging point and must be hung back in the holder. Close the charge flap with a light pressure.
  2. Setting off: Log in at the checkpoint with the Mobility Card. Put your foot on the brake and turn the key in the ignition lock all the way to the right until the Ready indicator appears. If too much time elapses between your first log-in with the card and setting off, hold the Mobility card up to the checkpoint again. When the READY indicator light comes on, release the handbrake and engage driving position D (normal forward gear) or R (reverse) as required, keeping your foot on the brake. Remove all personal belongings from the car and lock it using the Mobility Card.
  3. Whilst driving: The vehicle generates a synthetic sound up to 30 km/h to alert pedestrians.
  4. After completing your journey: Open the charge flap with light pressure and open the inner flap by hand. Take the cable from the charging point and insert it into the vehicle. The cable is automatically locked, and a yellow LED indicates that the vehicle is establishing a connection to the charging point. After approximately 30 seconds, the LED turns green, indicating that the vehicle is charging.
  5. On-the-go charging at a GOFAST rapid-charging station: Visit gofast.swiss/standorte for locations.
  6. On-the-go charging at a Type 2 AC fast-charging station: Proceed as for charging at a rapid-charging station. In some cases, the charge cables are permanently connected to the charging point; otherwise, use the charge cable in the vehicle’s luggage compartment. Depending on the provider, the charging process is started automatically via an app or payment by credit card. The GOFAST charging card in the vehicle’s glove compartment can also be used. If necessary, contact the charging point’s provider. Check charge indicator 2 at the charging socket, which should flash green if the charging process has been started correctly.

Setting off

  • A. If you haven’t done so already, log in at the checkpoint with the Mobility Card. To start the vehicle, put your foot on the brake and turn the key in the ignition lock all the way to the right until the “Ready” indicator appears (Figure B). Please note: if too much time elapses between your first log-in with the card and setting off, hold the Mobility card up to the checkpoint again.
  • B. When the “READY” indicator light comes on, the vehicle is ready to drive (noiseless). Otherwise, repeat the process. The handbrake may have to be released. (Lever left of steering wheel.)
  • C. Engage driving position “D” (normal forward gear) or “R” (reverse) as required, keeping your foot on the brake.

Whilst driving
The motor of an electric car is virtually silent. Up to 30 km/h, however, the vehicle generates a synthetic sound to alert pedestrians.

  • Range according to the WLTP test cycle 340 km
  • Under normal driving conditions  272 km

Please note: if the range is less than 20 km, the vehicle must be driven to a charging point immediately

After completing your journey
Park the vehicle forwards in the Mobility bay – the charging socket is located under the left headlight. Engage driving position P (park) and pull the handbrake on. Open the charge flap using light pressure. The inner flap (which acts as a dust cap) must be opened by hand. Take the cable from the charging point and insert it into the vehicle. The cable is automatically locked. You’ll see a yellow LED by the socket, which means the vehicle is establishing a connection to the charging point. After approx. 30 seconds, the LED turns green, which means the vehicle is charging.
