Product Information

The product is a Solar Light with 12 pcs SMD LEDs that requires Lithium-Ion 3.7V 1500mAh, 18650 battery. It has three modes of operation i.e. Candle Mode, Low Mode, and High Mode with maximum run time and maximum lumens. The product has important safety information that needs to be followed to avoid any hazards.

  10. Use as intended only.
  11. Inspect before every use; do not use if parts are loose or damaged, or if sharp edges are exposed. This is fragile and sharp edges may be exposed if weathered or damaged.
  12. Maintain product labels and nameplates. These carry important safety information. If unreadable or missing, contact Harbor Freight Tools for a replacement.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Unpack the product and ensure that it is intact and undamaged. If any parts are missing or broken, please call 1-888-866-5797 as soon as possible.
  2. Keep the owner’s manual for safety warnings and precautions, assembly, operating, inspection, maintenance, and cleaning procedures. Write the product’s serial number in the back of the manual near the assembly diagram (or month and year of purchase if the product has no number). Keep this manual and the receipt in a safe and dry place for future reference.
  3. Decide where you want to place the Solar Light, indoors or outdoors. Choose a location that receives full, direct sunlight a minimum of 8 hours a day. The location should not be near nighttime light sources such as porch lights or streetlights as this will cause the Solar Light to remain off.
  4. Confirm that the location is clear of lines, cables, and conduits.
  5. With a rubber mallet (not included), gently tap the Stake into the ground.
  6. Attach the Stake to the connector and connect the remaining pieces using plugs. Adjust height using one or two plugs. Attach lantern to base and connect to pole.
  7. Allow at least 24 hours of sunlight charge time, or use a USB cable to charge before first use.
  8. Note : Solar Panels convert sunlight into electricity, recharging the battery. The amount of light it receives depends on its placement, geographic location, and weather. Panels will not receive a full charge during cloudy weather, and the Solar Light may not achieve full run time; it will catch up after two to three days of full sun. Use a USB cable to charge for days with limited sun.

Setup Instructions

Operating Instructions

Note : Solar Panels convert sunlight into electricity, recharging the battery. The amount of light it receives depends on its placement, geographic location, and weather. Panels will not receive a full charge during cloudy weather, and the Solar Light may not achieve full run time; it will catch up after two to three days of full sun. Use a USB cable to charge for days with limited sun.

  1. A full 8 hours of sunlight are required to charge the Solar Light. To charge with a USB cable 4 hours are needed.
  2. After the initial charge is set, confirm that the Lights are on by viewing them at night or in a dark location. If they are not lit, check that the Solar Panel has had full sunlight for 8 hours. The Solar Light will turn on at dusk. Check Power switch:
  3. The first push is candle mode.
  4. The second push is the low mode.
  5. The third push is the high mode.
  6. The fourth push is off

Maintenance

  1. Clean regularly with a damp towel.
    Do not clean with solvent.
    Do not put too much pressure on the Solar Panel or accessories while cleaning. Dry thoroughly.

  2. BEFORE EACH USE, inspect the general condition of the tool. Check for:

  3. leaking, swollen, or cracked battery,

  4. loose hardware,

  5. misalignment or binding of parts,

  6. cracked or broken parts, and

  7. any other condition that may affect its safe opera

  8. AFTER USE, wipe the external surfaces of the tool with a clean cloth.

  9. The battery is irreplaceable. Follow the steps to properly dispose of the battery.

  10. Turn four screws out of the battery box on the bottom of the lamp.

  11. Gently open the battery cover on the bottom of the Solar Panel housing.

  12. Remove the old battery.

  13. Contains a Li-Ion battery. The battery must be recycled or disposed of properly. Do not open, crush, heat above 140° F or incinerate.

Troubleshooting

4.   Clean Solar Panel with a soft cloth.
