Thank you for purchasing a 23 ZERO Tub rack

Thank you for purchasing a 23Zero Tub Rack. Please read these instructions carefully before assembling and installing the tub rack to your vehicle. Assembly and installation requires minimum 2 people.

Tools required:

  • Tape measure
  • Marking pen
  • Masking tape
  • Enamel paint pen
  • Cordless drill
  • 5mm & 6mm Hex / Allen keys
  • 13mm & 17mm spanners
  • 3mm & 10mm drill bits

Note: 23Zero accepts no responsibility for incorrect fitment / accidental damage to vehicle during fitment. If unsure, please contact a reputable accessory fitter to install the tub racks for you.

IMPORTANT

Load and weight capacities of the 23Zero Tub rack is dependant on vehicle load ratings. Please be aware of vehicle load ratings before use.

Before installing the 23Zero Tub racks please ensure you are aware and understand the following:

  • Your ute’s maximum load rating.
  • Your ute’s maximum load rating including off-road capacity.

The maximum amount of weight you can safely add to a vehicle’s cargo area differs according to make and type of vehicle including aftermarket additions such as roof racks / bars.

Note: Roof rack & Tub rack off-road limits are immensely different to normal road use load **ratings. If in doubt, please contact your vehicle manufacturer specified loading capacity of your vehicle.**

  • Maximum heights have been calculated allowing a 2 hole overlap between leg and elbow
    Optional Heights

Tub Rack Assembly

Measure internal width of tub.
When assembling tub rack, vertical flanges of tub legs must fit within this measurement.

Note: Allow 10mm narrower to begin with as final adjustments can be made later.
Tub Rack Assembly

Assemble 4 sets of uprights using 4 Legs (A) and 4 Elbows (B).
Do not over tighten at this stage

Fixings used:

16 M8 Hex bolts (G)
16 M8 Nuts (I)
32 M8 Flat washers (K)
16 M8 Spring washers (M)

Note: Allow 2 hole overlap
Tub Rack Assembly

Attach Legs/Elbows to each end of Cross Beam (C)
Create 2 hoops.
Do not over tighten at this stage

Fixings used:

16 M8 Hex bolts (G)
16 M8 Nuts (I)
32 M8 Flat washers (K)
16 M8 Spring washers (M)
Tub Rack Assembly

Join hoops together by attaching minimum 4 Rails (D)
Do not over tighten at this stage

Fixings used:

24 M8 Hex bolts (G)
24 M8 Nuts (I)
48 M8 Flat washers (K)
24 M8 Spring washers (M)
Tub Rack Assembly

Vehicle mounting

To avoid scratching and for ease of marking, determine position of tub racks on tub and apply masking tape on top lip and inside face of lip. All 4 corners.
Vehicle mounting

Place assembled tub rack on top of tub in desired position.
Mark drilling position of 3 holes on each leg.
Once all holes are marked, remove tub rack.

Tip: When drilling inner holes, allow for thickness of rubber.
Vehicle mounting

Drill holes.

Use 3mm drill bit for pilot hole followed by 10mm drill bit for final hole.

Tip: De-bur holes and apply enamel paint on bare metal to avoid rust.

Remove backing from protective rubbers and stick down over holes flush with inside lip.
Vehicle mounting

Place tub rack on top of ute tub.
Align holes and fit M10 Hex bolts to all 4 legs.

Once bolts, washers and nuts have been seated, tighten all.

Fixings used:

8 M10 50mm Hex bolts (F)
4 M10 30mm Hex bolts (H)
12 M10 Nuts (J)
24 M10 Flat washers (L)
12 M10 Spring washers (N)
Vehicle mounting

Tighten and inspect all bolts/nuts on legs, elbows rails and cross beams.
Tub rack is now ready for use.

2 Year Warranty

23ZERO will replace or repair any product at its discretion that is subject to faulty manufacturing or workmanship including materials.

Exclusions

The above warranty is limited to manufacturing and materials defects. Not including damage caused by misuse or abuse, wear and tear, condensation, extreme weather, accidents, incorrect set up, damage caused by mould, insects, animals or children. This also excludes broken poles and damage caused by a jammed, snagged zipper or excessive force applied to zipper causing failure.

Consumer rights

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and failure does not amount to a major failure.
