CARE AND CLEANING INSTRUCTION

  • Please ensure appliance is disconnected from the power supply and switched off before attempting any cleaning.
  • Please allow sufficient time for the appliance to cool down after use before plan to clean, at least 30 minutes.
  • The appliance is not designed to be dismantled by an unqualified technician.
  • Cleaning of the unit should only be attempted with slightly damp soapy cloth.
  • Care must be taken to ensure there that cloth is sufficiently dry to not leave any standing water.
  • After wetting down with the soapy cloth. Dry with a dry paper towel.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaning materials.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Before use:

  • Insert the 4 non-slip rubber feet into the feet holes on the underside of the unit.
  • Always ensure that the appliance is on a level surface and stable before operating.
  • Before using your hot plate for the first time, turn the hot plate to the highest setting (position 5)and let it stand 3 to 5 minutes. This allows the special pre-use protective coating to turn off. A bit of smoke and smell is normal. Ensure nothing is on the hot plate.

DAILY USE:

Turn temperature controller between 2 and 5 and adjust during cooking as needed.

  • The indicator light will turn on to indicate that the relevant cooker is heating.
  • The indicator light on the appliance will turn off when it reaches the selected temperature.
  • To keep food warm:
    • Turn the dial to 1 to maintain food at a constant warm temperature.
    • Turn the dial to OFF and food will stay warm for up to 30 minutes. as the plate gradually cools down.
  • When not in use. Be sure to turn the dial to OFF and disconnected from the power outlet.

DAILY USE:

  • Use only stainless steel, aluminum and ceramic. NOT GLASS.
  • Use cooking pots or pans that have a flat base.
  • The diameter of the pan base needs to be smaller than the diameter of the heating plate.
  • Do Not use with any base that is connect, concave or Uneven.
  • Do Not use glass.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  •  Carefully read the instructions and warming in this manual and keep them from further reference for the whole of the products life. They include important instructions regarding operations and safety for installing, using and maintaining the product.
  • After unpacking, make sure that the appliance is intact with no signs of damage caused by transport. If in doubt. Do not use the appliance and contact the supplier.
  • If there is crack on the heating plate, immediately cut off the power supply and stop usage.
  • Before connecting the appliance, make sure that the power supply voltage corresponds with that shown on the rating label.

  • The appliance is designed only for heating and warming food and must only be used when cooking pits or pans are plated on it.
  • Do not immerse in liquid.
  • The power plug must be removed from power socket before cleaning servicing. maintenance or moving the appliance.
  • In proper installation may result in the risk of file, electric shock and or injury to persons.
  • The appliance has no user-serviceable parts contained within. Do not attempt to repair, disassemble or modify the appliance.
  • Do not the touch surface or hotplate when the appliance is operation or cooling down after use.
  • Do not allow the cord to touch hotplate during operation or cooling down after use.
  • Do not leave the appliance unattended when the appliance is operating.
  • Do not leave the appliance without supervision when oil and fat are heated.
  • The appliance must be cooled down completely after use before storing. Please allow at least 30 minutes for the appliance to cool down.
  • The vitro ceramic hob should be kept well clear of any inflammable materials such as curtains and other flammable materials.
  • The vitro ceramic hob should not be placed direct on a surface that could be damaged by heat, A heat-insulating base may be heeded.
  • The power cord should not be allowing to hang over the edge of the work surface during operation.
  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a Qualified Technician to avoid a hazard. Please contact the Technical Assistance
  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  • The appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
  • Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
  • Metallic objects such as knifes, forks, spoons and lids should not be placed on the hob surface since they can get hot.
  • The appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
  • Warning: The surfaces are liable to get hot during use.

CORRECT DISPOSAL OF THIS PRODUCT

This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed with other household wastes throughout the EU. To prevent possible harm to the environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources. To return your used device, please use the return and collection systems or contact the retailer where the product was purchased. They can take this product for environmental safe recycling.

GENERAL WARRANTY TERMS

  1. The warranty is valid only on presentation of invoice of purchase.
  2. This WARRANTY is limited exclusively to parts substitution ineffective due to faulty manufacture, made in our workshops.
  3. The elimination of several faults of the scope of the guarantee is made for repair or replacement of defective parts, according to the discretion of our technical services. Defective parts are our property.
  4. Are not covered under warranty damage caused by transportation, neglect or poor use, improper assembly or installation, as well as external influences such as: lightning strikes or power, flooding, humidity, etc..
  5. Lose warranty, all appliances that are not being used according to the instructions, or connected to FEEDING NETWORKS not guarantee a constant voltage of 220/240V.
  6. The warranty does not cover damages for personal injury or damage caused directly or indirectly in any capacity whatsoever.
  7. This warranty terminates when it is found to have been undergoing repairs, alterations or interventions by any person not authorized by Jocel.

THE WARRANTY EXPIRES

  1. If the appliance has not been installed by an Accredited Technician.
  2. Exceeded the period of 2 years for home appliances and 06 months for industrial appliances, warranty expires and assistance will be made by charging the costs of manpower, according to current fees.
  3. With the modification or disappearance of the nameplate of the appliance.
