USING THE EGG STEAMER
Before first use
Remove all packaging materials. Clean the appliance thoroughly (refer to the
“Cleaning & Maintenance” section of this manual).
Cook eggs to perfection
Using the measuring cup, measure out the required quantity of cold water
(refer to the table below to determine the amount of water needed).
Type | Amount of Water | Cooking Time |
---|---|---|
Soft | 60ml | 7 min |
Medium | 80ml | 11 min |
Hard | 100ml | 14 min |
NOTE: The above table is for reference only. Adjust the water level
according to your own experience. Remember to always keep the egg steamer on a
level, horizontal surface, and never place it on an incline.
Pour the water into the water tray and put the egg rack on top.
Pierce the rounded end of each egg with the egg piercer, which you will find
on the bottom of the measuring cup and place the eggs on the egg rack. Using
the egg piercer prevents the eggs from cracking during boiling. Please be very
careful when using the egg piercer as the needle is very sharp.
Place the lid on top of the egg steamer and connect it to power.
Press the power switch. The light will switch on, indicating that the
appliance is working.
CAUTION: To avoid burns, keep your hands and face away from the steam
outlet in the lid while the egg steamer is in use.
When the eggs are ready, a bell will ring, and the light will switch off
indicating that the eggs are ready. For the bell to stop ringing, switch off
the appliance and unplug it.
Remove the lid using the handles. Take the egg rack out and rinse the eggs
with cold water. Set aside and let them cool down. Cooling eggs with cold
water makes peeling the shells easier.
If you need to cook more eggs, let the appliance cool down before the next
use.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
Unplug the appliance and let it cool down completely before cleaning.
Clean the lid, egg tray and cup with warm soapy water. Use a damp soft cloth

the appliance and all parts dry thoroughly before storing or using it again.
Egg shells contain calcium salts. The salt residue can deposit in the
appliance. Possible residues can be easily removed with a vinegar solution or
commercially available descalers.
In order to remove the residue deposits in the water tray, add 1 tsp of
vinegar and 1 cup of water. Then, operate the appliance for ten minutes
without the lid.
Unplug the appliance and wait until it has cooled down. Pour away the liquid
and rinse.
