Before using the slow cooker for the first time, remove and safely discard any packaging material and promotional labels. To eliminate a choking hazard for young children, ensure children do not play with plastic bags or any packaging materials.

Always ensure the slow cooker is properly assembled before use. The removable inner pot must be in place to use this appliance.

Never plug in or switch on the slow cooker without having the removable cooking pot placed inside the slow cooker housing.

Do not place food or liquid directly into the slow cooker housing. Only the removable cooking pot is designed to contain food or liquid.

Do not use the removable cooking pot in a conventional oven.

Do not place the removable cooking pot on a gas burner or electric hotplate.

Use only the removable cooking pot supplied. Do not use any other pot inside the slow cooker housing.

Do not use if the cooking pot is damaged or cracked.

Never operate the slow cooker without food or liquid in the removable cooking pot. Ensure that the cooking pot is at least half full of food or liquid before switching on the appliance.

Do not place the slow cooker on the edge of a bench or table during operation. Ensure the surface is level, clean and free of water and other substances.

Do not place the slow cooker on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or where it could touch a heated oven as it could melt the base of the unit.

Position the slow cooker well away from walls, curtains and other heat or steam sensitive materials. When using the slow cooker, provide adequate space above and on all sides for air circulation.

The glass lid has been specially treated to make it stronger, more durable and safer than ordinary glass, however it is not unbreakable. Please use caution when handling the glass lid.

Always have the glass lid placed correctly into position on the removable cooking bowl throughout operation of the appliance unless it is clearly stated in the recipe to have it removed.

Do not move the appliance during cooking.

Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles to move the slow cooker. Use dry, heatproof oven gloves when removing the lid or cooking bowl after cooking.

Avoid sudden temperature changes.

When the removable cooking bowl is hot:
– do not place it on any surface that may be affected by heat
– do not place frozen or very cold foods inside it
– do not place it in a freezer or cold water -
Do not place anything, other than the lid, on top of the slow cooker when assembled, when in use and when stored.

After using, always switch off the slow cooker, then unplug and allow to cool.

ALWAYS unplug the unit before cleaning.

Keep the housing, removable cooking bowl and glass lid clean.

The slow cooker is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.

Fully unwind the power cord before use.

Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a bench or table, touch hot surfaces or become knotted.

To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the power cord, power plug or the base of the appliance in water or any other liquid.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

Do not use the appliance if power cord, power plug or appliance becomes damaged in any way.

Any maintenance other than cleaning should NOT be performed as this will void the warranty.

This appliance is for household use only. Do not use this appliance for anything other than its intended use.
WARNING! HOT SURFACE
- Do not use the slow cooker near or under surfaces that are heat sensitive or those that may be damaged by steam.
- CAUTION! The glass lid is extremely hot, always use the handle when removing the lid.
- To avoid scalding from escaping steam while removing the glass lid, carefully lift the lid angled away from yourself.
- Extreme caution must be used when the appliance contains hot food, hot oils and liquids.
- Do not pre-heat or heat the slow cooker when empty.
- The surfaces of the slow cooker will become HOT during use. DO NOT TOUCH.
- Wear oven gloves when handling the appliance during and immediately after cooking and use utensils when checking food.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
Clean after each use.
- Switch off and unplug the slow cooker and allow to cool completely. Always unplug the unit before cleaning.
- Wash detachable parts (removable pot and glass lid) in hot water with dishwashing liquid. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Wipe the external surface of the slow cooker with a soft, damp cloth. Dry all surfaces with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use detergent or abrasives as these may scratch the coating.
- NEVER immerse the slow cooker base in water.

BEFORE FIRST USE
- Remove all promotional labels and packaging material from the slow cooker. Wash the removable cooking pot and glass lid in hot, soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Ensure the interior of the slow cooker housing is clean and clear of any debris before placing the cooking bowl into the slow cooker housing.
THE CONTROL PANEL
After connecting and switching the appliance on, the screen will illuminate
red and display ----. The 6 white LED lights will flash.
The screen will automatically turn off after 5 minutes of inactivity. Press
any key to wake up the screen.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Before placing the removable cooking bowl in the housing, ensure its exterior is clean and dry. This will ensure proper contact with the inner cooking surface.
USING THE SLOW COOKER
- Place ingredients in the inner cooking pot, making sure the food is evenly spread across the base of the pot. Place the lid onto the cooking pot.
- Press the button to choose LOW, HIGH or WARM function. Press START button to start cooking and the LED display will show the countdown timer. If you want to cancel the selected cooking program, press CANCEL button, the unit will return to standby mode.
- Press + or – button to increase or decrease the cooking time. You can adjust cooking time at any stage – before or during the cooking process.
HIGH function
The default time for HIGH function is 4 hours. You can choose cooking time
between 30 minutes to 24 hours. Once the cooking time reaches zero, the slow
cooker will beep for one minute, before automatically switching to WARM
function. The automatic keep warm will operate for up to 12 hours before
switching to standby mode.
LOW function
The default time for LOW function is 4 hours. You can choose cooking time
between 30 minutes to 24 hours. Once the cooking time reaches zero, the slow
cooker will beep for one minute, before automatically switching to WARM
function. The automatic keep warm will operate for up to 12 hours before
switching to standby mode.
WARM function
The default time for WARM function is 4 hours. You can adjust the warming
time between 30 minutes to 24 hours. Once the timer reaches zero, the slow
cooker will beep for one minute, before switching to standby mode.
DELAY function
The default time for DELAY function is 2 hours. You can choose delay time from
30 minutes to 24 hours. To activate delayed start, choose DELAY function first
and then choose the cooking function needed, press START button to start.
After setting, the unit will start automatically. The screen will count down
the delay time first, then the screen will count down the cooking time.
CANCEL
Press CANCEL button to cancel the selected cooking program during cooking
process. The unit will automatically return to standby mode.
FOOD SAFETY
- Thoroughly defrost frozen meat, poultry, fish and seafood in the refrigerator before cooking. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from cooked foods.
- Always wash hands after handling raw meat and poultry, before handling any ready to eat foods.
- Wipe and disinfect surfaces that have been in contact with raw meat and poultry.
- Use separate utensils for handling raw meat / poultry and cooked food or wash them thoroughly between uses.
- Always check whether meat, particularly poultry is cooked to the safe serving temperature.
