PLAYARD WARNINGS
WARNING
FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE WARNINGS, THE LABELS AND THE INSTRUCTIONS COULD RESULT
IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
- The product, including all rails, must be fully erected prior to use.
- Ensure that the sides of this playpen are properly latched or locked in the appropriate position before placing a child in it. Ensure safety lock is engaged before use.
- NEVER LEAVE child in product with SIDE LOWERED. Be sure side is in raised and locked position whenever child is in product.
- DO NOT use this playpen for a child who can climb out of it or who is taller than 90 cm (35 inches).
- Children can suffocate on soft bedding. DO NOT place pillows, comforters or an additional floor pad in this playpen.
- Child can become entrapped and die when improvised netting or covers are placed on top of the playpen. NEVER add such items to confine child in playpen
- When child is able to pull to standing position, remove bumper pads, large toys, and other objects that could serve as steps for climbing out.
- ALWAYS provide the supervision necessary for the continued safety of your child. When used for playing, NEVER leave child unattended. Child MUST be under supervision at all times.
- To reduce the risk of SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome), pediatricians recommend healthy infants be placed on their back to sleep, unless otherwise advised by your physician.
- NEVER use a water mattress with this product.
- NEVER refinish this product.
CANOPY WARNINGS
- DO NOT use this accessory if you cannot exactly follow the instructions that come with it.
- The canopy, including all clips, must be properly assembled PRIOR to use.
- Make sure that all clips are firmly locked onto the frame.
- DISCONTINUE use if child can remove or disassemble canopy or canopy components.
- NEVER use this accessory if there are any loose or missing fasteners, loose joints, broken parts of torn fabric areas.
- Check canopy for proper assembly periodically during use and between each use.
- The canopy is to be used as a sun shade only. It is not a rain shield and should only be used when weather conditions are such that the canopy can safely remain attached. DO NOT use if high winds are present or the threat of high winds exist.
- NEVER use the canopy as a structure to attach or support other objects or items.
- When not in use, canopy should be stored out of children’s reach in a dry location.
- DO NOT attempt to attach the canopy to anything other than the product with which it is sold, or recommended for by the manufacturer.
GENERAL WARNINGS
- DO NOT leave a child unattended in this playpen.
- DO NOT use this playpen if you cannot exactly follow the instructions that come with it.
- NEVER carry or move the play yard with child in it.
- AVOID SERIOUS INJURY by keeping fingers clear of rail joints, top corners, and from any moving parts when assembling/adjusting the product to prevent pinching and/or finger entrapment.
- Keep all children away from the play yard during assembly (sides not fully expanded).
- ALWAYS set up play yard on a flat, level surface. Check floor/ground surface underneath play yard floor to assure that it is clear of any objects that may injure your child. ENSURE surface is suitable for your child to play on.
- NEVER use the play yard on uneven or unsafe surfaces.
- NEVER use near stoves, heaters or other heat sources.
- ALWAYS keep the play yard away from hazards that may injure your child.
- DO NOT change, tamper with or modify any part of this product.
- DO NOT use this product if it is damaged in any way or has missing parts.
- DO NOT allow children to climb into or out of the play yard, or to hang onto the outside of the play yard to avoid tipping the product.
- NEVER hang anything other than accessories that come with this product on this play yard as it could cause the product to become unstable.
- Extended exposure to weather could affect colour.
- DO NOT, EXCEPT AS DESCRIBED IN THESE INSTRUCTIONS, MODIFY THIS PRODUCT OR DISASSEMBLE ANY PART. This includes adding any parts or accessories by other manufacturers as non-tested accessories can affect the safety of the product.
- This product is NOT intended for commercial use.
SUFFOCATION WARNINGS
WARNING!
NEVER LEAVE INFANT IN PRODUCT WITH SIDES DOWN. Infant may roll into space
between pad and loose mesh side causing suffocation.
WARNING
INFANTS CAN SUFFOCATE
- In gaps between a mattress too small or too thick and product sides
- On soft bedding
NEVER add a mattress, pillow, comforter, or padding. Use only the mattress/pad provided by manufacturer
- DO NOT place any cord, strap or similar item in or near this playpen that could become wrapped around a child’s neck.
- DO NOT place this playpen near a window or patio door where a child could reach the cord of a blind or curtain and be strangled.
- NEVER place the play yard in any location where there are cords within the child’s reach, such as telephone cords, window blind cords, monitor cords, etc. as they can strangle a child.
- NEVER use plastic shipping bags or other plastic film. They can cause suffocation.
- Small children and pets can force themselves into very small openings.
- NEVER tie/add anything to/in the play yard (i.e. accessories, toys, monitors, etc.) as this may cause serious injury or death.
- STRANGULATION HAZARD – ALWAYS attach the canopy securely. If the canopy is not secured, child in play yard can lift or shift canopy and get neck trapped between canopy and play yard frame.

PLAYARD SETUP
-
Remove all contents from packaging, and discard box and polybag.

The playard comes packed within the carry case.
TO OPEN: -
Hold opposite corners and gently pull open playard until fully expanded. Push down on each corner. WARNING When setting up the playard, use caution to avoid pinching your fingers on the top corners and safety lock

Locate the safety lock on the playard as shown in the image below. SAFETY LOCK MUST BE ENGAGED BEFORE USE. Pull up bar on safety lock until it is straight/locked. The playard is now locked in the open position ENSURE PLAYARD IS SECURELY LOCKED BY GENTLY PUSHING DOWN ON BAR.

TO FOLD: -
Slide RED button on safety lock to the right and push down on bar to unlock. Push playard inwards to collapse.
CANOPY SETUP

Gently pull open canopy until fully expanded.
TO INSTALL: -
Attach FOUR (4) canopy clamps to playard corners. ENSURE all clamps are securely attached. Then attach fabric loops onto hook next to each clamp
TO REMOVE: -
Detach fabric loops from hooks on canopy clamps. Then detach clamps from the playard corners to remove canopy.
Insert canopy and playard into carry case ensuring case is fully zipped when closing
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
- From time to time, check your playard for worn parts, torn material or stitching. Replace or repair the parts as needed.
- If playard is used at the beach, you MUST clean sand off your playard, including the feet, before packing it into carry case. Sand may damage safety lock.
- To wash playard and canopy, wipe surface with a damp cloth or sponge. Air dry.
- To wash carry case, machine wash in warm water on delicate cycle and drip-dry. DO NOT USE BLEACH.
WARRANTY
This product was manufactured by Harmony Juvenile Products® (HJP). HJP warrants this product to the original retail purchaser as follows:
LIMITED 1-YEAR WARRANTY
This product is warranted against defective materials and workmanship for one
year from the date of original purchase. An original receipt is required to
validate your warranty. HJP will, at its option, provide replacement parts for
this product or replace this product. HJP reserves the right to discontinue or
change fabrics, parts, models or products, or to make substitutions. To make a
claim under this warranty, you must contact HJP Customer Service at

2E9. Proof of purchase is required and shipping charges are the responsibility
of the consumer
WARRANTY LIMITATIONS
This warranty does not include damages which arise from negligence, misuse, or
use not in accordance with this instruction manual.
LIMITATIONS OF DAMAGES
The warranty and remedies as set forth above are exclusive and in lieu of all
others, oral or written, expressed or implied. In no event will HJP or the
retailer selling this product be liable to you for any damages, including
incidental or consequential damages, or loss of use arising out of the use or
inability to use this product. PLEASE REGISTER THIS PRODUCT WITHIN 30 DAYS OF
PURCHASE TO EXPEDITE WARRANTY CLAIMS AND TO VERIFY ORIGINAL DATE OF PURCHASE
