Read these instructions thoroughly before using the product.

On screen messages
„LO“ – battery is depleted and needs replacing. „OVER“ – scale overloaded. The maximum carrying capacity is 5 kg. Remove the weight material off the scale to avoid damage.

Buttons
ON/OFF/TARE – activation/deactivation/TARE function UNIT – toggle units g/kg/lb/oz

Weighing

  1. Place the scale on a hard, level and stable surface.
  2. Before activating the scale, place dish on the weighing surface, if you want to use it.
  3. Push ON/OFF/TARE to activate the weighing mode.
  4. Put the object, to be measured, on the scale or into the dish. The LCD display will show the weight of the object.
  5. Select the measurement units (g/kg/lb/oz) by repeated pushing of the button UNIT.
  6. You can turn the scale off by holding the button ON/OFF/ TARE (if you use the TARE function, push it 1×) or it will turn off automatically after 1 minute.

TARE function

It serves to measure the weight of individual doses gradually added to the items remaining on the scale.

  1. Put the first dose on the scale and the display will show its weight.
  2. Before adding another dose on the scale, push the button ON/OFF/TARE. The value on the display will reset. Now you can add another dose. You can repeat this process again.

Battery replacement

  1. Open the battery compartment at the bottom of the scale.
  2. Remove the used batteries.
  3. Insert new alkali batteries. Maintain correct polarity. Do not use rechargeable batteries.
  4. Close the lid

Cleaning and maintenance

  1. Use a wet cloth to clean the scale. Prevent water from getting inside. Do not use chemical cleaning preparations and/or cleaning aids with abrasive effect. Do not submerge the scale into water!
  2. All plastic parts must be cleaned immediately after contact with grease and materials such as spices, vinegar or additives. Prevent contact of the scale with citrus gravy!
  3. Keep the scale in horizontal position at all times.

Safety instructions

  • This scale is designed only for weighing of food in households.
  • Do not interfere with internal electric circuits of the product. You might damage it and void the warranty automatically.
  • The weight must be placed on a level, hard and stable surface (not on carpet etc.) in enough distance from any appliances with electromagnetic field in order to avoid interference.
  • Protect the scale from hits, shocks, vibration and do notdrop it from height.
  • Use the scale only according to these instructions. In case of a malfunction the scale should be repaired only by a qualified expert.
  • This machine is not to be used for persons (including children), whose physical, sensory or mental incapacity or lack of experience or knowledge prevents them from safe use of the appliance, unless they are under supervision or unless they were instructed about the use of this appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Supervision over children is necessary to make sure they will not play with the appliance.

Do not dispose with domestic waste. Use special collection points for sorted waste. Contact local authorities for information about collection points. If the electronic devices would be disposed on landfill, dangerous substances may reach groundwater and subsequently food chain, where it could affect human health.
