SPECTROLINE CLA-100 Classic Series Dual Purpose LED UV-A Inspection Lamp
INTRODUCTION
The Classic ™ Series Dual Function LED Inspection Lamp Kit contains the CLA-100, a handheld, corded light source featuring two ultra-high intensity UV-A LED’s & one white LED. The lamp handle is ergonomically designed and features a fan-less cooling system. The CLA-100 is ideal for applications.

UV light emitted from this product. Avoid eye and skin exposure to unshielded products FOR PROFESSIONAL EXAMINATION USE ONLY.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS (Read all instructions)
- Do not operate the lamp if it has been damaged
- Do not look directly into the UV light. Wear UV-absorbing protective eyewear when operating this or any UV lamp. Never operate the lamp with the UV filter lens removed.
- Never use this equipment in any manner not specified in these instructions because your protection may be impaired.
- This lamp is not approved for use in hazardous atmospheres. Do not attempt to use it in areas requiring explosion-proof lighting.
- NEVER aim the lamp in the direction of another human being. It is meant for professional fluorescent inspections ONLY!
- DO NOT attempt to modify the lens assembly or light output. Doing so may alter the performance and intensity of the lamp.

KIT COMPONENTS
Unpack and inspect the components for possible damage in shipment. If any damage is noted, immediately notify the carrier and supplier and do not use the light source.

*Each of the AC cords is fitted with the appropriate plug for the country of destination
USE
- Connect the CLA-100 cord directly into power source
- The lamp is equipped with a two-position rocker power switch on the rear of the lamp housing.
(I – white light; O – off; II– UV light)
UV INTENSITY VERIFICATION
To ensure that your Classic™ Series lamp is operating at the required UV intensity, it should be checked periodically. The AccuMAX™ XRP-3000 radiometer/ photometer kit uses a UV-A sensor detector to accurately measure ultraviolet irradiance and white light. For more information about these units, please contact the Customer Service Department at Spectro-UV.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE OF LAMP
- Turn off lamp and ensure unit is cool before cleaning filter glass. Please use lens tissue, or non-dust cloth for cleaning.
- Be sure to use genuine Classic Series replacement parts. Using another manufacturer’s parts could affect product performance and will void the lamp’s warranty.
LIMITED WARRANTY
The warranty policy for the Classic Series lamp is provided on the Certificate of Limited Warranty enclosed separately with each unit.
NOTE
For assistance of any kind, please contact the Customer Service Department at Spectro- UV. Give the model and serial number of the unit and the date of purchase. The serial number is located on the left side of the lamp housing.
