IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND DANGER WARNINGS
- Please read the manual carefully and keep it for future reference.
- The unit shall be connected to a power supply only of the type described.
- Adequate care shall be taken so that foreign objects do not fall, or liquids are not spilled into the enclosure through openings.
- Do not use the unit in a tropical climate. The unit should only be used in moderate climates
- All safety instructions and warnings must be adhered to. They are part of the manual and must be kept with the manual.
- Any warranty claims are rendered invalid if damage occurs due to non-observance of these operating instructions. We assume no liability for any consequent damage.
- The appliance is approved for operation in dry, closed rooms only. Do not operate the device nearby water, such as in bathrooms or nearby swimming pools.
- The appliance may not be exposed to extreme temperatures (< +5°C / > +35°C) in operation.
- The appliance may not be subject to strong vibrations or heavy mechanical strain.

CHARGE THE BATTERY
Prior to using this system for the first time, please insert the supplied 15V mains adaptor into the DC input socket (25) and plug the other end on a suitable wall outlet. The led indicator lights up in red. When the battery is fully charged, the red LED indicator goes off. It takes 4-5h to fully charge the battery.
NOTE: Please shut down the power switch after you have finished using the system.
CHARGE THE SUPPLIED UHF MICROPHONE
The ROADY is supplied with a USB charger lead. Plug this lead into the USB-C connector on the bottom of the microphone and the other USB connector into a suitable mains adaptor or any other USB connector delivering an output voltage of 5Vdc. It takes 3-4 hours to fully charge the battery.
IMPORTANT NOTE ON LITHIUM-ION BATTERIES
- PRIOR to using the unit for the first time, please charge fully the battery without any interruption.
- Charge the battery regularly after each use. Don’t wait until it is discharged!
- DON’T allow the battery to discharge completely, otherwise it will lose 20% of its capacity or even be totally damaged! If the voltage becomes too low, the internal circuits are not powered anymore and it will become impossible to recharge the battery!
- If you don’t use the unit for a longer period of time, it is recommended to charge it at 40% of its capacity and check/charge it once per month The life time of the battery depends on the observance of these recommendations.

DESCRIPTION OF TOP PANEL CONTROLS

Volume: Rotate clockwise to increase or counterclockwise to decrease the volume. The digital screen will display the volume level from 0-30

Music Treble: Rotate the Treble knob clockwise to increase, anticlockwise to decrease. It is recommended to set the treble at the middle point. The digital screen displays “Ah xx” and “xx” means volume level (0-20)

Music Bass: Rotate the Bass knob clockwise to increase, anticlockwise to decrease. It is recommended to set the bass at the middle point. The digital screen displays “Ab xx” and “xx” means volume level (0-20)

Microphone Reverb: Except for the Original Scene mode, the user can set the reverb by rotating the reverb knob for the microphone according to his preferences. The digital screen displays “E xx” and “xx” means volume level (0-20)

Delay: Microphone delay: Except for the Original Scene mode, the user can set the delay level by rotating the Delay knob for the microphone according to his preferences. The digital screen displays “t xx” and “xx” means volume level (0-20)

Guitar volume: Rotate the Guitar volume knob clockwise to increase volume, anticlockwise to decrease volume. The digital screen displays “Udxx” and “xx” means volume level (0-20)

Mic treble: Rotate the Microphone Treble knob clockwise to increase, anticlockwise to decrease. It is recommended to set the treble at the middle point. The digital screen displays “b xx” and “xx” means volume level (0 20)

Mic bass: Rotate the Microphone Bass knob clockwise to increase, anticlockwise to decrease. It is recommended to set the bass at the middle point. The digital screen displays “Ab xx” and “xx” means volume level (0 20)

Microphone volume: Rotate the Microphone volume knob clockwise to increase volume, anticlockwise to decrease volume. Adjust the microphone volume to the size of the space. Loud Microphone volume in a small space will cause squeaking. The digital screen displays “Udxx” and “xx” means volume level (0-20)

ON/OFF switch: Hold the power button for 2-3 seconds to switch the unit on. The digital screen will flash. Press again for 2-3 seconds to switch the unit off. The digital screen will turn off.

Play/Pause button: Press to Play or Pause. In AUX mode, it is the Mute function.

USB input: The unit switches automatically into USB mode when a USB stick is plugged into this input. The “U/T” icon lights up on the digital screen.

Micros input: The unit switches automatically into microSD mode when a microSD card is plugged into this input. The “U/T” icon lights up on the digital screen.

TONE-: Press to lower the tone pitch of the music
-
MONITOR: “Headphone mode (Sound monitor)”: Insert the headphone into the Monitor port. The speaker enters mute mode and outputs the sound via the headphone. When in headphone mode, hold the Sound field button (30) on the speaker to turn on the speaker amplifier to allow the sound output via the speaker and headphone synchronously. Hold the button again to turn off the speaker sound and output only via headphones.

TONE+: Press to increase the tone pitch of the music

AUX input: AUX mode: Automatically enters the AUX mode when plugging in the 3.5mm auxiliary cable. The “AUX” icon lights up on the digital screen.

TONE/INFLEXION: Press the Tone/Inflexion button. The Blue LED indicator on the right lights up. Then press the Tone+ (22) or Tone- (20) button to adjust the tone pitch of the music to suit your voice. The digital screen displays “Tyxx” (xx means tone level, 00 means no Tone change). The adjustment range is -5 to +5. Microphone voice changer: With the microphone switched on, press the Tone/Inflexion button. The Blue LED indicator on the right turns off. Speak into the microphone and press the Tone+ or Tone- button to select a voice effect among Original, Male, Female, Loli & Monster. The digital screen displays “vCxx”

Sound Field: Switch the sound field (Scene): Press the Sound field button on the speaker or hold the Scene button on the Remote Control. Switch among the Original, Professional, Popular, ECHO scene modes. The digital screen will display:

REC PLAY button : Press to play your recorded files

Livestream soundtracks : During music, press the emoticon on the remote control. There are six pre-set soundtracks for Livestream: Applause, Embarrassment, Laughter, Cold scene, Contempt.

MODE button: Press to switch among Bluetooth, USB, TF, AUX

Number buttons: Press to access directly to a track number

Press to increase the value of the selected function

INSTALLATION OF THE BATTERIES IN THE REMOTE CONTROL
Open the battery compartment of the remote control and insert 2x AAA batteries
with the correct polarity
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE BATTERIES IN THE REMOTE CONTROL
This symbol indicates that used batteries should not be disposed of with
household waste but deposited in separate collection points for recycling.
ATTENTION: Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly placed. Only
replace by the same or equivalent type.
WARNING: Keep new and old batteries out of the reach of children.
If the battery compartment doesn’t close properly, stop using the product and
keep it out of the reach of children.
If you are in doubt whether the batteries have been swallowed or introduced
into any other part of the body, contact immediately a doctor.
UHF MICROPHONE
- Microphone element
- Light ring: 2 operating modes: Steady on or flashing when somebody talks into the microphone
- LED display: shows the operating frequency and state
- Turn On/Off: Long press to tun on/off, short press to change the light mode
- Transmitting antenna: Do not cover the antenna during operation otherwise the transmission distance will be reduced.
- USB-C connector to charge the built-in battery via the supplied USB lead
OPERATION OF THE MICROPHONE
Make sure that the microphone is fully charged prior to using it. Switch on the microphone. It will connect automatically to the ROADY-FL. If you have bought a second microphone (item code: ROADY-FL-MIC), switch on the second microphone. It will also connect automatically to the ROADY-FL without any further settings. Switch the microphone off after use.
BLUETOOTH CONNECTION
The unit switches automatically into pairing mode after power on. The digital screen flashes slowly, the Bluetooth icon lights up. Select ROADY in the list of found devices and connect it. When connected, the digital screen is always on and displays “BL”, the Bluetooth icon lights up.
Bluetooth disconnection: Disconnect the device on the phone/devices, or
hold the – & + buttons simultaneously to disconnect. When disconnected, the
digital screen flashes slowly, the Bluetooth icon lights up.
Reconnection: The unit automatically connects with the device, to which
it had been connected before. When connected, the digital screen is always on
and displays “BL”, the Bluetooth icon lights up.
TWS CONNECTION FOR SPEAKERS
Make sure that both speakers are disconnected from any Bluetooth device. In Bluetooth pairing mode, hold the Play/ Pause button for 2-3 seconds to enter TWS pairing mode. The digital screen flashes quickly and pairs another speaker automatically. When TWS connected, the master speaker’s digital screen flashes slowly, the slave speaker’s digital screen is always on.
CONNECT WITH THE TWS CONNECTED SPEAKER
When two speakers are connected in TWS, select the Bluetooth name (will
display only one Bluetooth name) on the phone and connect it. When connected,
the digital screen is always on and displays “BL”, the Bluetooth icon lights
up.
TWS disconnection: When no phone is connected with two TWS connected
speakers, hold the – & + button simultaneously to disconnect the TWS. When a
phone is connected with two TWS connected speakers, hold the – & + button
simultaneously to disconnect the Bluetooth connection first, then hold the – &
+ button again to disconnect the TWS. When disconnected, two speakers will
return to Bluetooth pairing mode, the digital screen flashes slowly.
RECORDING
The recording function works only with a TF card or USB flash drive inserted.
Press the Record button to start recording. The recording function can support
recording accompaniment and microphone sound synchronously. The “REC” icon
flashes on the digital screen.
Play recorded files: Hold the REC PLAY button (31) on the remote control
to play the recorded files.
Delete recorded files: When playing a recorded file, hold the Play button
to delete the playing file. (Only works during the play of the recorded file
SWITCH THE PLAY MODE
Press the Power button (10) on the unit or the MODE button (33) on the remote control to switch mode among Bluetooth, USB, TF, AUX.
LOW BATTERY ALERT
The battery power is at 20%-30%. The digital screen displays the battery icon.
Low power shutdown: The battery power is at 10%. The digital screen
displays the battery icon. Reset: Press the Reset button (between the wired
microphone and guitar ports).
