SAFETY

You don’t need to use personal protective equipment against electric shock when operating a drill driver: the electrical safety of the tool is ensured by safe electric drive voltage.

WHEN OPERATING THE POWER TOOL DO NOT:

  • Before starting to work with the tool, make sure that the working conditions comply with the requirements of this manual;
  • Exercise extreme caution when working in an electrical wiring area.
  • Protect power tools from rain and moisture;
  • Protect cord from heat, oil, sharp edges, or moving parts of power tools.
  • Use an appropriate extension cord when working outdoors.
  • If it is unavoidable to use the power tool in a damp environment, install a residual current differential switch or residual current device (RCD).
  • Be extremely careful! Inattention while operating a power tool can result in serious injury;
  • Use personal protective equipment: goggles, protective mask, shoes with non-slip soles, protective helmet, hearing protection, depending on the type of work with power tools;
  • Do not accidentally start the power tool. Before connecting the tool to the mains and/or battery, make sure that the power tool is turned off.

  • In the event of a power failure or other inadvertent shutdown of the power tool, immediately turn the switch to the “OFF” position and disconnect the plug from the outlet.
  • Take good care of your instrument. Check the function and movement of moving parts for breakage or damage. Clean the tool after finishing work.
  • Do not disassemble the instrument or attempt to repair a defective instrument yourself. A defective tool must be repaired by a specialized service center.
  • Store idle power tools in a dry, closed place out of the reach of children.
  • It is advisable to store the instrument in a specially designed case or box case, during storage the cable should not be pinched, should not be under pressure or load

IT IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED:

  • use the tool for other purposes;
  • use power tools while under the influence of alcohol or drugs (toxic), as well as in case of health aggravation.
  • Wear jewelry when using the tool to avoid injury.
  • apply excessive (causing a significant drop in spindle speed) force when operating the tool. This can lead to premature failure of the electric motor and / or battery;
  • hand the tool to children and persons who do not have experience in using it;
  • use the tool in rooms with an explosive and aggressive environment that has a dangerous effect on the parts of the tool;
  • use the tool when the switch is faulty;

WHEN USING THE CHARGER:

  • watch the charging time;
  • do not leave the charger unattended while charging the battery;
  • ensure free air circulation around the charger to prevent it from overheating;
  • unplug the charger from the mains when charging is complete.

ADDITIONAL SAFETY RULES FOR THE BATTERY:

  • Do not allow water to enter the battery.
  • Store between 0°C and +40°C.
  • Charge at an ambient temperature of +10°C to +40°C;
  • For charging, use only the charger included in the package or recommended by the manufacturer;
  • Avoid short circuiting battery contacts when disconnected;
  • Do not use a defective or damaged battery
  • Do not open batteries;
  • Do not charge damaged batteries.

  • Do not expose the battery to flame, intense heat or light;

If leakage of the electrolytic mass from the battery is detected, follow these steps:

  1. Gently wipe the liquid off the surface of the battery using a piece of cloth. Avoid contact of liquid with skin;
  2. In case of skin contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water. You can neutralize battery fluid with a mild acid, such as lemon juice or vinegar.
  3. In case of contact with eyes, flush eyes with plenty of clean water for at least 10 minutes. Then see a doctor.
EXPLOITATION
  1. PREPARATION FOR WORK
    The cordless drill comes with a partially charged battery. Charge it before use. The lithium-ion battery can be recharged at any time without any reduction in service life.
    1) Plug the charger into an electrical outlet. The glow of the green indicator indicates the operability of the charger.
    2) Insert the charger plug into the battery connector, the green indicator will turn off, the red indicator will light up, the battery charging process will begin.
    3) At the end of charging, the red indicator will turn off, the green indicator will light up – the battery is fully charged. If the indicator lamps on the battery do not light up or light up in other combinations, unplug the charger from the socket, check the condition of the battery case and the correct connection of the charger to it.
    4) When charging is complete, disconnect the charger cable from the battery and unplug the charger from the mains.
    5) Insert the battery into the tool handle until the lock clicks into place. Always insert the battery all the way until it clicks into place. If this is not done, the battery may suddenly fall out of the tool. Do not use force when inserting the battery. If the battery is difficult to insert, then you are doing something wrong.
    6) To remove the battery, press the battery lock buttons located on the sides of the battery and, holding the handle firmly, pull the battery out of the tool handle.

Note. Approximate battery charging time based on 20°C temperature. The charging time increases when the air temperature drops, or in case of insufficient voltage in the mains. The battery and charger may become slightly warm during charging, this is normal and does not indicate a malfunction.

Attention. If the battery does not charge properly, follow these steps:

  1. make sure that there is voltage in the power supply by connecting some other electrical appliance;
  2. check all power cable connections;
  3. move the charger with the battery to a room with optimal temperature conditions;
  4. if the problem remains, contact an authorized service center for assistance.

WORKING IN THE SCREWDRIVER MODE

  • Set the adjusting ring to the correct torque level for your job.
  • Install a screwdriver bit in the chuck that matches the screw/screw/bolt being used.
  • Tighten the chuck to secure the rig firmly.
  • Set the speed switch to suit your job.
  • Insert the tip of the screwdriver bit into the head of the screw and push down on the tool.
  • Start the tool with the start button at a slow speed, then gradually increase it. The rotation speed will depend on how hard you press the start button.
  • Make sure that the screwdriver bit is inserted directly into the head of the screw, otherwise the screw and/or bit may be damaged.

DRILLING

  • Turn the adjusting ring to align the pointer with the drilling mode mark.
  • Install the drill or hole saw required for your work in the chuck
  • Tighten the chuck to secure the rig firmly.
  • Press the drill against the drilling point and start working.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR WORK

Drilling in wood. When drilling in wood, the best results are achieved with wood drill bits equipped with a pilot tip. The guide tip simplifies drilling, keeps the drill in the workpiece.
Drilling in metal. Use metal drills. Before drilling, make a small indentation at the point of drilling with a punch. This will help prevent the bit from slipping at the start of drilling. The use of cutting lubricant is recommended. (except for cast iron and brass, which must be dry drilled)
Drilling in concrete. The tool does not have an impact mechanism for effective work on concrete. It is recommended to use an impact electric drill or hammer drill for concrete work. However, a drill driver can be successfully used for drilling holes in plaster, soft cement mortars, drywall, bricks, etc

WARNING:

  • Excessive pressure on the tool will not speed up drilling. This can damage the drill, reduce tool performance and shorten tool life.
  • When the hole being drilled becomes a through hole, a significant force is applied to the tool/drill. Hold the tool firmly and be careful when the drill begins to pass through the workpiece.
  • A stuck drill bit can be removed by simply switching the reversing switch to reverse rotation. However, the tool may reverse too quickly if not held firmly.
  • Always secure small workpieces in a vise or similar clamping device.
  • If the tool has been operated continuously until the battery pack runs out, take a break of 15 minutes before operating with a charged battery

SERVICE MAINTENANCE

Repair of the tool must be carried out only by qualified personnel at authorized service centers.

ATTENTION! The use of any accessories and attachments, or the performance of any operation other than those recommended in this manual, may result in injury or damage to the instrument.
