Anritsu Company 2000-2074-R Extended Power Pack
Product Information
The Extended Power Pack 2000-2074-R is a rechargeable battery bank that provides DC power to the instrument. It has a front panel with a powered button/voltage selector, battery and voltage indicator, DC in/out port, USB A ports (2), USB C port, USB C cable to charging source, and DC-DC barrel connector cable to instrument. The USB Type A and Type C ports can be used to recharge the extended power pack using an AC-DC USB adapter. The voltage output of the power pack can be adjusted to 12 V, 16 V, 19 V, or 24 V, but it is recommended to set it to 16 VDC before making any connections to the instrument.
Product Usage Instructions
Charging the Instrument: To charge the instrument, connect it with the extended power pack using the DC-DC barrel connector cable.
Recharging the Extended Power Pack: The extended power pack can be recharged using an AC-DC USB adapter connected to either the USB Type A or Type C ports.
Setting the Voltage: To set the voltage to 16 VDC, follow these steps:
- Press and hold the powered button for two seconds and release. Each of the four voltage indicator LEDs will sequence through during power on. If the four LEDs do not light, the battery is not fully charged and will need to be charged before continuing.
- Double-press the power button to set to DC output mode.
- Single-press the power button to sequence through each voltage setting until it reaches 16 VDC.
- Set to the 16 VDC position as shown on the front panel. The voltage output is now set to 16 VDC and the power pack can be safely connected to the instrument’s DC power input jack.
Caution: Do not adjust the DC output voltage when the DC cable is connected to the instrument. Damage to the instrument’s internal circuitry may result if incorrect DC power is applied.
Caution
- Do not adjust the DC output voltage when the DC cable is connected to the instrument. Set the output to 16 VDC before making any connections.
- Damage to the instrument’s internal circuitry may result if incorrect DC power is applied.
