What’s Included
What’s the Force
- Make copies of the What’s the Force? Activity sheet (1 per student).
- Choose a What’s the Force? game card.
- Students draw where the weights are placed, and make a prediction.
- Place weights on the seesaw according to the diagram on the card.
- Students will identify if the force is balanced or unbalanced.
- Repeat until all the cards have been used, then answer the questions at the bottom of the activity sheet.
Seesaw with Ozobot
- Make copies of the Seesaw with Ozobot Activity sheets 1 per student).
- Students will need an Ozobot, a device to run an Ozobot Blockly program, and five small objects found around the classroom.
- Follow the instructions on the activity sheet.
Instructions
Instructions for running an Ozobot Blockly program on your Evo
- Enter the URL found on the activity sheet in a browser window.
- If you’re using an iPad, open the program. Then load the program using the flash loading option found at the bottom of the workspace. Click the power button on Evo twice to run the program.
- If you’re on any other device, open the program.
- Click the bot icon on the right side of the Ozobot Blockly workspace and follow the on-screen instructions to connect a bot. Click “Run Program” to begin the activity.
