Installation
1. Prior to installation, carefully read and understand all instructions and safety notices in the nVent LENTON Cadweld Rebar Splicing System Instruction Manual.
2. Ensure that the pouring basin crucible is clean and free from any debris.
3. Place the ceramic insert and disk inside the pouring basin crucible.
Usage
1. After the ceramic insert and disk are installed, fill the pouring basin with the desired filler material.
2. The ceramic insert and disk are designed to retain the filler material until the exothermic reaction is complete.
3. Once the disk has melted due to the exothermic reaction, it will allow the molten filler material to gravity feed the pouring basin.
4. Ensure that the pouring basin is positioned correctly to allow for proper gravity feeding.

POURING BASIN CERAMIC INSERT AND DISK
The ceramic insert and disk fit inside the pouring basin crucible and are intended to retain the filler material until the exothermic reaction is complete and melts the disk. Once the disk has melted, it allows the molten filler material to gravity feed the pouring basin.
