- Unplug your power source when cutting LED strips.
- Pay close attention to the polarity of all connections: match positive to (+) and negative to (-).

Steps For More Advanced Installations
12V DC Voltage Drop: 12V DC power is naturally subject to “voltage drop.” Along the length of 12V power wires through the lighting, LED chips may begin to dim after connecting more than 1 spool of this LED light strip. This can be corrected with the use of RGB amplifiers.
Connecting Your Led Light Strip
- Before formally installed in the designated location, please connect the strip lights to the receiver and power supply, then connect the power supply to the power source to test and verify your LED strip lights are in working order.
- Use the included alcohol pad to clean the location where you plan to adhere your strip, making sure no dust or dirt remains prior to installation. (Some surfaces may not be suitable for this tape (e.g., brick, fabric, or other rough surfaces).
- Carefully remove the blue release liner protecting the surface of the LED Strip’s adhesive. Press and hold the LED light strip along the installation location. Make sure there are no gaps between the lights and the surface.
- Connect the led strip light to the receiver, then to the power supply. Make sure that the arrow on the 4 PIN connectors matches the arrow on the strip light. The ~ arrows at both ends need to correspond positively.)
- Use the included foam tape to mount the receiver, and the included wire clips to keep the wire connectors in place.
- Connect your power supply to your power source – your strips should light up!
