Installation Profile
The Guelph Gurdwara in Guelph, Ontario, Canada, is a 15,000 sq. ft. building that serves the needs of the Sikh community for Wellington County and beyond. TOA was chosen to provide an audio solution that delivers intelligible audio with coverage throughout the building and directly to the various segments of the Gurdwara. The audio system was required to play background music and do public addresses.
Challenge
The Gurdwara presented a challenge due to its vast space and high ceilings, which could cause reverberation and affect the clarity of the sound. The Gurdwara did offer up a couple of challenges. Solution
The TOA design team addressed the challenge by ensuring that acoustically the
sound was clear and by minimizing reverberation. During the testing phase, the
Gurdwara was happy with the professional sounding audio and clarity to all
areas of the building. The real-time live performances sounded great, and they
were excited to use it for their members.
Our team in collaboration with the installer, created a solution which,
overcame the challenges and enhanced the sound system from previous ones. By
utilizing the digital matrix mixer, the M-9000 series together with a DSP to
enrich the sound. Connecting to the powerful DA series of amps, the amplified
audio flowed to the high quality HX-7 compact array with subwoofer. The system
was configured to operate as required with proper timing adjustments. With the
directivity of the speakers reverberation was reduced tremendously.
Product Usage Instructions
To use the TOA audio system in your commercial or corporate setting, please follow these instructions:
- Ensure that all components of the audio system are correctly installed according to the user manual.
- Connect your audio source to the system using the appropriate cables.
