INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
PARTS INCLUDED
TOOLS REQUIRED (NOT INCLUDED)
EXTERNAL J-BOX INSTALLATION
- Step 1: Turn the main power off at circuit breaker of fuse box.
- Remove the two decorative nuts on the top of the fixture, and take out the back plate.
- Step 2: Install the mounting bar to a j-box using j-box screws. Eliminate the gap between the mounting bar.
- Step 3: Extend and feed the j-box wires through the openings on the mounting gasket and mounting plate.
- Connect the ground wire to the ground screw on the bracket.
- Note: Tear away at perforation on mounting gasket.
- Step 4: Secure the mounting gasket and the mounting plate to the mounting bar using the mounting bar screw.
- Do not over tighten.
- Step 5: Connect the power supply wires directly to the terminal block. Secure the wires to the terminal block by using a small screwdriver.
- Connect: Black Wire to “L” input, White wire to “N” input.
- Step 6: Position and align the mounting holes on the fixture body to the mounting plate screws. Secure the fixture body to the mounting plate screws. Secure the fixture body to the mounting plate using rubber washers and decorative nuts. Once the fixture is tightly secured to the j-box, apply a silicone sealant around the base of the fixture to prevent moisture from reaching the connections. Turn the power on at circuit breaker or fuse box.

Changing Color Settings
- When the slide switch is set to SW (Soft White), the color temperature fixes at 3000K.
- When the slide switch is set to BW (Bright White), the color temperature fixes at 4000K.
- When the slide switch is set to DL (Daylight), the color temperature fixes at 5000K.
DUSK TO DAWN AND MOTION SENSOR
The motion sensor on this fixture has a built in Dusk-to-Dawn sensor that automatically disables the Motion sensor during D2D option.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE
Setting for the lighting time. Setting for the motion sensor detection scope. Adjustment for the detection scope. The sensor can be adjusted clockwise or counterclockwise per requirement, the maximum can reach 45 degree, for the purpose of changing the detection scope.
Adjustment and setting for the detection distance. As shown in picture 1 (schematic diagram of the max detection scope). The sensor can be adjusted up 45°or down 130°. When a fixture is installed on the vertical wall, adjusting the sensor to a different degree can change the detection distance. Normally, when installation at a 5°depression angle for the sensor, the detection distance is the largest. The detection distance and sensitivity will be changed based on mounting height.
- When mounting at 45°depression angle will shorten the detection distance, see below picture.
- When mounting at 5°depression angle will shorten the detection distance, see below picture. F
- Adjust the switch of “Time” to set the duration of lighting. When the sensor detects any object movement, it will turn the light on. The duration time when the objects stop movement can be set to 10min, 3min, 1min and 5s (test).
- When set on 5s (test) position, it is used to test for installation, which is not controlled by ambient lux, and the light will stay on for 5 seconds.
-
Adjusting the “distance” switch can set the sensitivity of the sensor. It is used for changing the sensor’s detection distance. It can be positioned to high, mid, and low based on preference.
-
Instruction about the setting of motion sensor detection scope: To determine the detection scope of the motion sensor needs to perform a simulation test: walking
in an arc across the front of the motion sensor. The motion sensor is less sensitive if in a radial movement. As shown below (picture 1). The motion sensor is more sensitive if in a lateral movement. As shown below (picture 2). -
Watch the light, if the light comes on indicate motion has been detected and give out a lighting signal. Stop walking and wait for the light to turn off and then begin walking again. Setting for further function: D2D (Dusk to Dawn) and Manual override. Adjust the “distance” switch to D2D position, it can fit into “Dusk to Dawn” mode. It will work in the ambient light less than 10lux, and auto-logout in the ambient light more than 40lux.
-
Adjust the “distance” switch to D2D position and adjust “Time” switch to Test position, it can fitting into “Manual override” mode.
