Quick Start Guide
Product Information
The Smart Earmuff is an SM1P Student Headset that has several applications, including recreation (ATVs, helicopter rides, gun ranges, etc.), lawn service/maintenance (listening to FM/AM radio), and workshops (metal/woodworking). It has Environmental Modes that can be adjusted to fit your needs. The headset should be regularly charged, and it has a battery life of 24 hours with a charge time of 5 hours.
Product Usage
Using the Headsets: When powered on for the first time, the Smart Earmuff will automatically be in Short-Range mode. To turn off Short-Range, simultaneously short-press the volume buttons when the headset is powered on. This will ensure that Short-Range remains off every time the headset is powered on.
Charging: Connect the charger to the headset and connect to the main power to charge your headset. While charging, the Right Indicator LED will be Red. When charging is complete, the Right LED will turn Green. If the battery is low, the Right LED will flash Red (when the unit is turned on). Be sure to charge your headset fully before first use. Note that your headset will automatically power up when the charger is connected to it.
Headset Buttons: The power button is used to power up and power off your headset. To power up your headset, press and release the power button. To power off your headset, press and hold the power button until the unit powers off. The volume buttons are on the side of the earmuff above the power button. Each press raises the volume one notch, and you will hear a single beep in your ear. Once you reach the highest volume level, you will hear a double beep.

USING THE HEADSETS
Sensear’s Smart SENS® Earmuff Headset serves three purposes: hearing
protection up to 27dB NRR, enhanced face-to-face speech communication, and
360° situational alertness.
With the Smart Earmuff, users will protect their ears and hear their peers.
This is achieved through Sensear’s industry-leading SENS® Technology which
enhances speech and suppresses background noise so users can communicate face-
to-face safely and effectively in noisy environments. This headset has several
applications, including recreation (ATVs, helicopter rides, gun ranges, etc.),
lawn service/maintenance (listening to FM/AM radio), and workshops
(metal/woodworking).
ENVIRONMENTAL MODES
SENS® (Speech Enhancement Noise Suppression) Technology When the headset is powered on, it is automatically in SENS® mode, which allows 360° situational awareness of surroundings and face-to-face communication. By pressing the power button, you can toggle between SENS® mode (green LED light will blink twice every 4 seconds) and Quiet mode (green LED light will blink once every 4 seconds). The quiet mode only allows audio from communication devices to pass through the headset. The volume control buttons can be used to raise or lower the audio level of SENS®. The Smart Earmuff is an SM1P Student Headset and will automatically be in Short-Range mode when powered on for the first time. Short-Range will need to be turned off when the headset is powered on by short-pressing the volume buttons simultaneously. This will ensure that Short- Range remains off every time the headset is powered on.
CHARGING
- The headset should be regularly charged. To charge your headset, connect the charger to the headset and connect to the main power.
- While charging the Right Indicator LED will be Red.
- When charging is complete the Right LED will turn Green.
- If the battery is low, the Right LED will flash Red (when the unit is turned on)
- Note: Be sure to charge your headset fully before first use.
- Note: Your headset will automatically power up when the charger is connected to the headset.
- Charge Time: 5 hours

HEADSET BUTTONS
