Check List for Sensear Tablet
Turn off Headset
Power Tablet On:
- Connect the tablet to the headset and the app will auto launch
- Not required to be connected to Wi-Fi to program headsets
- If you get a pop-up message saying, “New update found. Proceed?” DO NOT click ok. This is a tablet update unrelated to the Sensear app and will give an error message.
Device:
- Firmware Types
- Bootloader – Not applicable
- Main Application – Shows current and past firmware versions
- Audio Image – Contains all sounds played by the headset (tones, beeps, etc.)
- Configuration Profile – Allows for selection of different headset profiles and headset operation
- Firmware Programming
- Allows for upgrading the headset’s firmware (needs to be connected to Wi-Fi for firmware upgrades)
- Red Indicates upgrade available, Green indicates the most recent firmware
- Download the latest firmware to the tablet
- Upload firmware from tablet to headset

SENS® Mode:
- On at Start-Up
- Enable
- Disable
- On During Transmit (TX) (hear SENS® audio when transmitting or in Bluetooth® mode)
- Sidetone – Sets mic audio to be played in your ear during transmit

Volume Limiter
- Set to 82 dB(A) by default
- Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 85 dB(A) time-weighted over 8 hours
- 90 dB(A) max

- Enable

- Level Adjustment
- RX-Cut or boost the headsets incoming receive audio level
- TX-Cut or boost the headset outgoing transmit audio level

Two-Way Radios

- RX-Cut or boost the headsets incoming receive audio level
- TX-Cut or boost the headset outgoing transmit audio level

FM Radio
- Enable/Disable
- Allows the ability to listen to FR radio broadcasts – not compatible with Short-Range

Short-Range
- Enable/Disable
- Channels/Frequency
- Up to 8 preprogrammed channels available when enabled, configurable via set-up mode
- Region
- 1: Highest power
- 2: Should generally be used in the EU region
- 3: Should generally be used in the Americas (Note: Region 3 limits the highest frequency to 97.0MHz)
- Transmit mode
- Normal – Headset will transmit normally when the PTT button is pressed and stop transmitting when the PTT button is released
- Latching Transmit – Headset will transmit when the PTT button is pressed and continue to transmit until the PTT button is pressed again
- Transmit Only – Headset is constantly in transmit mode when powered on. It will not receive in this mode (designed for teacher mode).
- VOX (Voice operated transmit)

Allows for hands-free transmission via voice detect transmit function

Trigger Level – Adjusts transmit detect sensitivity, Low (most sensitive), Medium, High

Attack time – Set timing of transmitter on

Release time – Set timing of transmitter off
o Lockout – allows for locking certain features so they cannot accidentally be disabled -
Button Assignment
- Applicable when PTT button SRCK6170 is used with SM1P smart muff headset with download
- Applicable for use with smartPlug™ Full version in-ear headset
