Safety Precautions

• Do not cover the lamp, for example with drapes. This could lead to fire.
• Connect the lamp only to an
• Australian wall socket type, which corresponds to the technical data of the luminaire.
• Before attempting to install or maintain, ensure the power is switched OFF. Unit should be fully assembled before energizing.
• Using RCD at power source is recommended.
• Use only rated voltage, otherwisedamage might occur.
• Not recommended to install near flammable liquids, vapour, gases or in explosive environment.
• Danger of suffocation by the wrapper and bags.
• Keep children away from the packaging.

I nsta I lation Important

• The plug and cord should be protected/shielded suitably to maintain IP rating.
• The external flexible cable or cord of this luminaire cannot be replaced; if the cord is damaged, luminaire shall be destroyed.
• The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable; when the light source reaches its end of life the whole luminaire shall be replaced.
• For installation/maintenance purposes the power point must be isolated from power source by removing the fuse or switching the circuit breaker OFF. Simply isolating the electrical supply at the wall switch is not sufficient isolation to prevent an electrical shock.
• This product contains no serviceable part and no attempt should be made to repair or alter the product. If the product is faulty, it should be discarded.
• This product is IP65 rated. It is suitable for outdoor installation.
• For maximum longevity, it is suggested to mount this product in a sheltered or semi sheltered location.
  Before cleaning or maintenance, switch off the product and allow some time to cool down the enclosure. Do not touch the enclosure when it is turned on for a longer period.

Wall Mounting

1. The easy install brackets makes installation quicker without removing the bracket.

2. Choose the right location to install the floodlight.

3.  Turn Off supply at power point to isolate luminaire.

4. Unpack all product contents.
   Ensure that all product contents are present.

5. Place the unit over the mounting position and mark the screw holes.
   Use at least two screws or bolts to ensure unit is adequately mounted.

6. Ensure power cord leaves the unit in a downward direction, even if the cable enters the wall above the unit. This is to provide a point for water to drip down to the ground instead of running along
   the cable and into the unit.

7. Should you identify any transport damages, please promptly consult customer service.

Care and Cleaning

Ensure fixture is turned off when cleaning. Allow to cool before handling. Brush off accumulated dirt.
Do not use harsh abrasive or solvent on any part of the fixture, clean only using dilute mild detergent on damp cloth.

WARRANTY

Mercator guarantees this product against defects of materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase provided the product is used for its proper purpose, in accordance with
Mercator’s recommendations and within such voltage and current limits as are specified by
Mercator in relation to the product Mercator will at its own option and cost make good, or replace this product with the same or similar product and return itto you, or provide a credit for any product manufactured or supplied by it, which proves to be defective within the limits set out above provided that no repairs, alterations or modifications to the product have been undertaken or
attempted by anyone, other than Mercator or its authorized agents. Should you wish to make a claim under this guarantee, the product and proof of purchase must be returned pre-paid by you to the place of purchase.
This guarantee is in addition to and does not take away from any other rights and remedies you may have under any relevant law.
