Setting Up Your Scanner

1. Installation Process
   Visit the Visioneer 7900 product page at www.visioneer.com/7900, and download Visioneer 7900 Scanner Installer from the Product Resources section. Once downloaded, click on the installer tobegin the installation.

2. Connect the Scanner to Computer
   Connect the AC Adaptor to the scanner and an outlet. Connect the USB cable to the scanner and your computer.
   

3. Start Scanning

   • From the Windows Start button, find and open the Capture Tool Application.
   • Place a photo or document on the scanner (face down) and click the Capture Tool Scan button.
     To change settings and preferences, familiarize yourself with the menu options across the Capture Tool navigation bar.

4. Register Your Scanner
   Please register your scanner to activate the scanner’s warranty. You’ll find the scanner serial number on the bottom of your scanner. Go to www.visioneer.com/registration.

Setting Up Tag That Photo Software

Your Visioneer 7900 Tag That Photo Scanner comes with a one-year subscription to Tag That Photo, a facial recognition PC application that helps you tag and find people in your PC photo collections.

1. To install Tag That Photo, go to https://tagthatphoto.com/visioneer.
2. Complete the form and click the Download Now button (you will need your scanner serial number again).
3. Watch your email inbox for installation instructions.
4. You’ll find the Tag That Photo application in the Windows Start application list.
5. Happy tagging!
