HOW TO BAKE NICE CRISPY WAFFLES

MAKING BATTER
For the best results, allow the batter to swell for half an hour before baking.

PRE-HEATING

  • Insert the main plug into the wall socket, you will see the red power light go on, and it will constantly remain ON until you unplug the unit.

  • Select the required baking temperature.
PLEASE NOTE: THE RESULTS (BROWNING, CRISPINESS) DEPEND ON THE BAKING TEMPERATURE AS WELL AS THE DURATION OF THE BAKING AND QUALITY OF THE BATTER!

  • The waffle iron should be kept in the closed position to allow the appliance to pre-heat for about 5 minutes. When the green light goes on, the appliance is ready for use.

  • Apply some butter or oil to the surface of the hotplates using a brush.

BAKING

  • Ladle just enough batter to fill lower grid so that the peak area of the grid are covered. If necessary, use a spatula to spread the batter in to the corners of grid. At this point the green light will go OFF as the baking cycle begins.
  • Close the lid. Do not open the lid until green light goes ON again. Opening too soon will cause unbaked waffles to split, and make them difficult to remove.
  • When the green light goes ON. Waffles should be done according to the control setting that you’ve chosen. If you find you want them a little darker, close the lid and leave them for as long as you desire.
  • Remove waffles from the grid with a non-metallic utensil. Waffles are ready.
  • When you are finished baking, simply turn off and unplug from the wall outlet. Red power light will go OFF. Leave baker open to allow it to cool. After cooling, grids may be wiped clean with paper towels.
