Product Usage Instructions

The Xiaomi Smart Speaker (IR Control) can be used as a bedside alarm clock, voice remote control for home appliances, and a smart voice assistant. Here are the steps to use it:

As a bedside alarm clock

1. Connect the Xiaomi Smart Speaker to a power source using the adapter provided in the package.
2. Press the ‘Play/Pause’ button to turn on the speaker.
3. Set the time and alarm using your voice commands or the buttons provided on the speaker.
4. Wake up to your favorite music or radio station by setting it up using your voice commands or the Xiaomi Home app.

As a voice remote control for home appliances

1. Connect the Xiaomi Smart Speaker to your Wi-Fi network using the Xiaomi Home app.
2. Press the ‘Play/Pause’ button to turn on the speaker.
3. Use your voice commands to control compatible home appliances such as air-conditioners, fans, and lamps. TV, TV Box and STB will be supported via OTA later.

As a smart voice assistant

1. Connect the Xiaomi Smart Speaker to your Wi-Fi network using the Xiaomi Home app.
2. Press the ‘Play/Pause’ button to turn on the speaker.
3. Use your voice commands to ask questions, set reminders, make calls, and more.

Note: Multiple smart speakers can be connected together for home-wide synchronous playing and even for hands-free calls with Google Duo. Voice commands are even easier. Your commands will be responded to at any time, making your home life freer.
