PRELIMINARY INFORMATIONS FOR INSTALLATION, USE, WARRANTY AND MAINTENANCE
Limitations of warranty – general instructions
- During and after installation, be sure that the exhaust system is not touching any components sensible to high temperatures. Manufacturer is not liable for damages (including personal damage and injuries) of any kind resulting from improper use and installation of the exhaust system.
- After installation it is recommended to check all screws to be properly tightened and to check alignment of the exhaust system.
- When tightening original screws please follow the indications given in vehicle’s maintenance manual, for hardware given in the fitting kit please follow the values listed below:
- Warranty is limited to defects recognized by manufacturer’s technical service and related to normal use of the exhaust system. Warranty terms exclude components subject to normal wear, like gaskets and wadding materials. Warranty is void in case of accident, modifications, improper use and competition use.
- It is strongly recommended not to install and use the exhaust system on a vehicle for which the exhaust system has not been designed for.
- In normal use condition the exhaust system can get very hot, even when the engine is switched off. be careful to avoid contact with exhaust system surfaces.
- Wadding materials durability changes depending on the kind of use of the exhaust system. Generally and as a pure information, it is recommended to check internal wadding material every 8000/9000km and at least once a year or in case you notice a change in noise from the exhaust or a change in colour of silencer’s external body surface.
- Technical characteristics and specifications of Arrow exhaust systems and related components can be subject to modifications and changes without notice.

FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
Loosen the clamp, remove the screw securing the silencer to the frame and remove the silencer
Loosen the clamp, move away the mount from the pins on the frame and remove original pre-silencer
Fit the mounting bracket as shown above (RH pin)
Fit the clamp as shown above
Fit the link pipe, secure the clamp and the welded mount to the bracket (do
NOT tighten in this phase)
Remove the screws (2) shown above and remove the cover from original pre-
silencer
Fit the caged nuts as shown above
ORIGINAL SILENCER FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
Fit the silencer and secure the mount
Tighten the welded mount to the bracket and the clamp
Tighten the clamp
Fit the cover using OE hardware
Remove the spacer and the rubber grommet from original silencer mount
Fit original spacer and rubber grommet to the mount and the clamp to the link
pipe
Fit the silencer, secure the mount
Tighten the welded mount to the bracket and the clamp
Tighten the clamp
Fit the cover using original hardware
“MAXI RACE TECH” SILENCER FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
Remove the spacer and the rubber grommet from original silencer mount
Fit original spacer and rubber grommet to the mounting bracket
Fit the clamp as shown above
Replace the mounting bracket with the one given in the fitting kit
Fit the silencer, secure the mount
Tighten the welded mount and the clamp
Tighten the clamp
Fit the cover using original hardware
