stable and reliable operation.
– The washing machine should be installed absolutely level and stably.
– The machine should not rock or wobble under load.
– Avoid contact of the machine feet with moisture. Otherwise vibration or
noise may occur.
ATTENTION
If the washing machine is installed on a carpeted floor, make sure that its
base is raised above the carpet pile. Otherwise ventilation may be hindered or
impossible.
CONNECTING TO WATER SUPPLY
ATTENTION
Connection of the appliance to water supply should only be performed by a
skilled technician.
NOTE:
– The water supply pressure should be within the range of 0,3 to 1 mPa (0,3-10
kg/cm2 ). If the pressure exceeds 1 mPa a pressure-reducing device should be
installed upstream of it.
– Do not apply excessive force when screwing the water supply tube onto the
tap.
– Regularly check condition of the tube, replace if necessary.
– Use only brand new water supply tubes for washing machines, do not use old
tubes e.g. used with the pervious machine.
ATTENTION
Connect the washing machine only to the cold water supply piping. The internal
components of the machine are not made of materials suitable for hot water.
Besides, the supply of hot water into the machine will disturb the temperature
modes during washing and cause damage to your laundry. Hot water may contain
anti corrosion additives which are detrimental to the internal parts of the
washing machine.
CONNECTING THE INLET TUBES AND VALVES
- Check the availability of the rubber gaskets on both sides of the flexible tube. If necessary, insert the rubber gaskets into the threaded fittings of each hose end for sealing the connections.
- Usually, on the water supply piping side, the tube is connected to a three-way valve attached to the tube to provide water cutoff from the machine. Screw the ring nut of the tube onto the valve by hand as firmly as possible, then tighten by a quarter or half turn with a suitable tool. Do not overtighten the nut, as this may rupture the gasket and cause a leak.
- After connecting open the valve to flush any contaminants (dirt, dust, sand) from the tube that may have gotten inside during installation. Collect the water in a bucket or basin.
- Screw the ring nut of the tube onto the washing machine inlet, then tighten it the same way as on the water supply valve.
NOTE: Every time you open the water supply valve after connecting it to
the machine, do it slowly to prevent surge (hydraulic shock) and damage to the
internal component of the machine.
Close the water supply valve every time after using the machine to prevent
leaks and spillage.
ATTENTION
Do not try to extend the water supply tube yourselves! If the water supply tap
is located too far away from the machine, buy a longer tube.
NOTE: The washing machine can be connected to water supply via an
ordinary domestic tap. In this case all the same requirements should be
observed, besides, to avoid spillage, please ensure that the connection
between the tap and the hose is tight and secure and the tube will not come
off the tap. However, this connection method is not recommended and can only
be applied if a fixed connection to water supply is not possible.
DRAIN HOSE CONNECTION
ATTENTION
Connection of the appliance to the drain should only be performed by a skilled
technician.
- One end of the hose is fixed to the appliance. Do not pull it out or force it in.
- The other (free) end of the hose can be routed into a bathtub, sink, or connected to the drain (sewage) piping.
- If the free end of the hose is routed into a bathtub or sink, it should be firmly secured (e.g. with a special bathtub clamp). A loose hose can easily fall off because of the water pressure and cause spillage.
- When connecting the hose to the drain pipe, make sure it is not inserted too deep so as not to obstruct the sewage flow. If the hose is too long – cut it down to size.
- In any case please avoid the siphon effect when connecting the machine to the drain; otherwise the water will not stop running. For this purpose a part of the hose should always be raised at least 60 cm above the floor. Besides, the free end of the drain hose should not be submerged in water (therefore please avoid connecting the hose to the sewage pipes with a constant water flow).
NOTE: If the free end of the hose is
routed into a sink, use a special holding clamp (bracket) as in the case with
a bathtub; secure the clamp with a chain or rope.
CONNECTING TO POWER SUPPLY
-
The washing machine should be connected to a properly installed grounded electric socket protected by an automatic circuit breaker of 16A rating. For added safety it is recommended to connect the washing machine to a dedicated lead (socket) assigned in the switchboard and used exclusively to connect the washing machine, protected by a dedicated differential current circuit breaker or a combined automatic circuit breaker and ground fault circuit breaker (GFCI).
The manufacturer will not accept liability for any damage if the machine is connected to a power supply circuit without a functioning earthing connection installed in accordance with local regulations. -
The electric circuit to which the machine is connected should be located in a easily visible and accessible place, within 1 m to the left or right of the appliance. Please prevent situations when the power cable can be jammed, tugged at or trampled upon.
-
Never use extension cables or cluster type power sockets to connect the appliance. This is critical to avoid loose contacts or contacts with insufficient area and thus to prevent fires. Never connect the appliance via an external timer.
-
If the power cable is damaged it shall only be repaired by a properly qualified technician at a service center.
OPERATING THE WASHING MACHINE
ATTENTION
Before doing your laundry ensure that the washing machine is installed
properly in accordance with our instructions.
The appliance has undergone quality acceptance tests at the factory, therefore
it may contain water and show minor traces of test operation.
ATTENTION
In order to eliminate any foreign smells and clean the washing machine before
first use, we recommend running the “Hypoallergenic Wash” at 85 °С without
clothes and detergents.
Do not worry if the smell has not gone completely. There may be the smell
emitted by plastic and rubber components that have become very hot during
operation.
In this case either run another washing cycle without clothes at a high
temperature, or wait for the smell to disappear after the first two or three
washing cycles.
BEFORE WASHING
- Connect the machine to power supply.
- Open the valve to which the water supply tube is connected.
- Load the clothes into the machine.
- Firmly close the door.
- Add the detergent.
WASHING
- Select the desired washing program with the selector dial.
- You can change the washing temperature and drying speed if desired. Please pay attention to the care instructions tags on the clothes before loading them into the machine.
- Select the auxiliary modes and/or functions.
- Press the «Start/Pause» to start the washing program.
AFTER WASHING
At the end of the washing cycle the word «End» will appear on the display.
Wait for the door to unlock (the lock indicator will go out), open the door
and remove the clothes.
Turn the machine off. Close the water supply valve.
NOTE: We recommend leaving the washing machine door open to allow the
moisture inside to evaporate.
5.1. PREPARING YOUR LAUNDRY Sort your clothes to achieve
optimal washing results, then prepare them in accordance with the symbols on
the washing instruction labels.
SORTING (Fig. 2)
– For more efficient washing sort your laundry in accordance with the care
instructions, fabric type and recommended washing temperature; wash your
laundry at the proper drum rotation speed.
– Different fabrics should be washed at different temperatures and drum
rotation speeds.
– By all means sort dark clothes out from light-colored and white clothes.
Wash them separately, as dyes and pile can migrate and discolor light-colored
and white clothes. If possible, do not wash heavily contaminated clothes
together with cleaner clothes.
NOTE:
– Degree of contamination (high, normal, low): sort the clothes according to
contamination degree. Use longer and more intensive washing for medium and
highly contaminated clothes. Lightly contaminated clothes may be washed at a
lower temperature to save power.
– Color (white, light-colored fabrics, dark fabrics): Separate white clothes
from colored clothes. First wash newer dark and colored clothes separately
from the rest.
– Pile (pile fabrics, clothes that gather pile): wash pile fabric clothes and
clothes that gather pile from other clothes separately from the rest.
– Clothes with metal components (e.g. bone bras, belt buckles, metal buttons)
can damage the washing machine. Remove metal components before washing or
place the laundry into a mesh bag or pillow case. Besides, items like snickers
should be washed in a mesh bag to protect the items themselves from wear. A
mesh bag is also handy for washing small items (Fig. 5).
CHECKING THE GARMENT CARE LABELS (Fig. 1)
The symbols used to indicate fabric composition and washing instructions.
Symbol | Washing instruction / Fabric type |
---|---|
Normal washing / Cotton and blended fabrics | |
Everyday washing / Synthetics and blended fabrics | |
Special delicate washing / Delicate fabrics | |
Hand wash only / Wool, silk | |
No washing |
NOTE: The lines under the symbols indicate the fabric type and the maximum
allowable mechanical stress.
CHECKING THE CLOTHES BEFORE LOADING
– Wash large and small items together. Load large items first.
– Large items should not take up more than half of the batch. Do not wash
single items to avoid drum imbalance. Always add one or two more items.
– Check the pockets and make sure they are empty. Objects like nails, pins,
matches, pens, coins or keys can damage both the machine and the clothes (Fig.
3).
– Zip up the zippers, hook the hooks, tie the laces so that they do not get
entangled with other clothes (Fig. 4).
– Apply some detergent dissolved in a small amount of water to stains before
placing the garment into the machine, so that the stains come off easier.
– Spread out curtains before putting them into the washing machine. Remove any
attachment brackets before washing.
– Zip up the zippers, sew on loose buttons, mend holes and stitch up ruptures.
– Do not wash white and colored laundry together. New colored clothes can
stain other clothes. Wash colored items separately.
– Use only such detergents, color fresheners and tinctures as are suitable for
machine washing. By all means observe the instructions provided on the
packaging.
– Turn trousers and fine laundry inside out before washing (Fig. 6).
– Shake items heavy soiled by flour, lime, milk powder, etc. before putting
them into the washing machine. Such contaminants can accumulate inside the
washing machine and eventually cause damage.
– Check the folds of the door seal and remove any small objects stuck in it.
ATTENTION
Ensure that no clothing items are jammed between the door and door seal,
otherwise they can be damaged during washing.
Remove any foreign objects stuck in the door seal to prevent damage to the
seal and the laundry.
CLOTHES NOT SUITABLE FOR MACHINE WASHING
– Ties, vests, etc. that can shrink after machine washing.
– Garments with folds and embossing that can be deformed during machine
washing.
– Garments made completely or partially of fur.
– Garments with decorations.
– Avoid washing items with missing manufacturer’s washing instruction labels.
– Never wash clothes contaminated by gasoline, kerosene, diesel fuel, paints,
solvents and alcohols.
– Items made of waterproof materials are not machine washable. Trying to wash
such items can cause machine overfilling, spillage and excessive vibrations
during rinsing and drying, as well as damage to the items themselves (such as
skiing suits, raincoats, umbrellas, car seat covers, tents, sleeping bags,
etc.). Water trapped inside the waterproof items cannot be fully drained and
may imbalance the drum, causing vibration and displacement of the machine.
ITEMS THAT CAN EASILY MAT TOGETHER
Items that can easily mat together (e.g. downy knits), should be turned inside
out before washing. Such items should better be washed separately, as they may
damage other clothes and become damaged by them. For the same reason it is
preferable to wash black and colored cotton garments separately.
5.2. USING THE DETERGENT TRAY
-
Compartment is used for detergent powder.
-
Compartment – for liquid detergent.
NOTE: never use powder and liquid detergent together (only one or another). -
Compartment for laundry conditioner/rinsing agent.
NOTE: Always add liquid detergent immediately before starting the
selected washing program. If added in advance or if delayed start is used the
detergent may harden inside the machine.
Check that the liquid detergent has a proper degree of fluidity. If necessary,
dilute it with water.
ATTENTION! Never fill the detergent to above the «MAX» mark.
The laundry detergent should be used in accordance with the manufacturer’s
instructions and selected according to fabric type, color, degree of
contamination and the washing temperature. Please use only detergents designed
specifically for machine washing.
– If there is too much foam, reduce the amount of detergent. Excessive
detergent produces too much foam, which lowers the washing quality and
overloads the motor.
– The quantity of detergent can depend on water temperature, water hardness,
the size and contamination degree of the items to be washed.

hours, in 1-hour increments. For examples, if you have selected the «Cotton»
program (without the auxiliary functions the programs takes 57 minutes), and
set the end delay time to 10 hours, then the wash will start after 9:03 hours
and complete after 10 hours.
This is very useful if you want to complete your laundry by a definite time
(e.g. by the time you come home), or wish to postpone it for the night because
of more favorable nighttime electricity tariffs. In order to activate this
function, select the desired completion time before starting the washing
program by repeatedly pressing the «Wash End Delay» button. The display will
show the relevant indicator (a timer icon).
To reset – turn the selector dial to any position other than the current one.
The timer icon on the display will disappear.
NOTE: if you set the start delay, do not use liquid detergent, as it is
prone to hardening and can stick to the internal parts of the machine if it is
not immediately dissolved in water.
The wash end delay function is not available for some programs.
WASHING TEMPERATURE SELECTION
By repeatedly pressing the «Temperature» button you can select one of the
available temperature settings available on the control panel (20 – 40 – 60 –
80 – 85 °С), if this is provided by the program. To select cold water washing
press the button until all indicators go out.
DRYING SPEED SELECTION
By repeatedly pressing the «Speed» button you can select the desired
tumbledrying speed in rpm from the options available on the control panel (if
this is provided by the program), as well as disable the drying cycle for the
current cycle; in this case keep pressing the button until none of the
indicators is on.
Available values: 0 – 500 – 700 – 900 – 1200 – 1400 rpm.
Disable the drying for items requiring careful handling (e.g. for woolen
garments, delicate fabrics or sports thermal underwear).
Note. If you start the separate «Spin» program when no speed is set the
machine will only drain the water.
DRYING
This washing machine can dry your laundry by two methods:
– by automatically setting the required time (Auto);
– for a time selected by the User.
By repeatedly pressing the «Drying» button you can select either the first
method (Auto) or any of the following drying times: 30 – 60 – 90 – 120 – 150 –
180 – 210 – 240 minutes.
In order to add drying to a washing program, select the program (except for
the «Drying» program), then follow the above instructions.
If you wish to apply drying as a separate program, first select the separate
«Drying» program with the selector dial, then set the drying method as
described above.
Items including natural or synthetic padding should only be dried by the
automatic method (Auto) and only by adding the «Drying» function to the
washing program; never use the separate drying program for such items.
NOTE: when the automatic drying method is selected the machine will first
calculate the time from the laundry weight, and then adjust the drying time
depending on the current humidity of the clothes. If the clothes are too wet
or the load is too heavy, the value of «0:20» may stay unchanged on the
display for a prolonged time.
Be careful when drying certain items made of synthetic fiber, wool, delicate,
«breathing» or other specialty fabrics, as such items may shrink, deform or
otherwise become damaged at a high temperature. Please check the garment
manufacturer’s care instructions.
When choosing the drying time, ensure that it is adequate for the amount and
degree of humidity of the laundry loaded into the machine, to avoid over-
drying. You should rather select a shorter time and then run an additional
drying cycle than damage expensive and valuable clothes.
ATTENTION
The water supply valve should by all means be open during the drying cycle, as
water is a part of the drying technique.
NOTE: before applying the «Drying» program apart from washing, we
recommend pre-drying the wet clothes with the «Spin» program.
DRUM CLEANING
The drum of the washing machine contacts dirty clothing and detergents.
Bacteria and detergent residues can accumulate in the drum over time. High
humidity inside the machine which lasts for a long time after laundry
completion, contributes to the buildup of mould and putrid smell.
In order to extend the service life of the washing machine and keep the drum
clean, wipe the inside of the drum (including the folds of the rubber seal)
dry after each laundry and regularly use the «Drum Cleaning» function.
- Before activating the drum cleaning function, ensure that there is nothing left in the drum.
- Add a special drum cleaning detergent for automatic washing machines into the main wash detergent compartment.
- Select the program and press the «Start/Pause» button. The cleaning is performed at 85 °С.
- Wait for the program to complete and wipe the inside of the drum with a soft dry cloth.
INCREASE RINSE NUMBER
Using the «Rinse» button you can control the number of rinsing cycles in the
selected washing program.
CHILD LOCK FUNCTION
This function allows keeping the safety of your children and the appliance
under control.
This function is activated after a program is selected and started by holding
down the «Speed» button for 3 seconds. The relevant indicator will appear on
the display. All functions and modes of the machine will become inaccessible.
In order to deactivate the function repeat the same actions as for activating
it (the indicator will go out).
NOTE: with the child lock activated you can still turn the machine off
with the selector dial. When the machine is turned on again it will restart
the program from the moment at which it was turned off.
«SILENT» MODE
For disabling the audio signals simultaneously hold down the «Speed» and
«SMART» buttons for 3 seconds. All signal and alarm sounds will be disabled.
Re-activate the sounds in the same way.
SMART MODE
If you are tired, in a hurry or simply don’t like to figure out the right
washing parameters, the machine can do it all by itself.
In the SMART mode the washing machine evaluates the parameters of the loaded
laundry and automatically selects the duration, temperature (usually within a
20 to 40 °С range), number of rinsing sub-cycles, etc.
This mode van be easily started in one of the following ways:
- With the machine turned off – by holding down the SMART button for 3 seconds.
- With the machine turned on – either as described under Item 1, or by pressing the SMART button once and then pressing the «Start/Pause» button.
NOTE: the SMART mode is designed for washing laundry made of cotton,
linen, synthetic or mixed fabrics, with a mild degree of contamination, worn
every day. For heavy or unusual contamination, or for laundry requiring
special care, please use the specialized programs.
CHANGING SETTINGS DURING PROGRAM EXECUTION
Even when the washing has been already started you can still adjust its
settings. For this purpose put the currently running program on hold by
pressing the «Start/Pause» button. Change the settings or add/or auxiliary
functions.
If the current stage of the washing cycle allows making the selected changes,
they will be implemented.
Resume machine operation by pressing the «Start/Pause» button.
NOTE: do not add detergent if you have changed the program.
LAUNDRY TOP-UP
To load additional clothes into the machine, put it on hold by pressing the
«Start/ Pause» button. If the water level allows this and the temperature
inside is not too high, the door will unlocked (the relevant indicator will
disappear).
Open the door, add clothes into the drum (do not exceed the maximum batch
weight).
Close the door and resume machine operation by pressing the «Start/Pause»
button.
INTERRUPTING THE CURRENT PROGRAM
You may need to prematurely abort the machine operation. If the water level is
below the loading door opening, simply hold down the ON/OFF button. If the
temperature inside is safe the door will unlock (the relevant indicator icon
will go out).
If there is enough water inside the machine that it would spill on the floor
when the door is opened, the machine will have to be drained.
To do that turn the machune off by holding down the ON/OFF button. The current
program will be aborted.
Then turn the machine on and select the «Spin» program and set the speed to no
rotation (none of the rpm indicators should light up). Water will be drained
from the machine and the door will unlock upon program completion.
You can now turn the machine off.
IMBALANCE PROTECTION
The machine is equipped with an automatic system that detects an imbalance.
If, before the start of tumble-drying the machine detects that the laundry is
unevenly distributed in the drum, the latter will rotate until the imbalance
is rectified.
However, if this process takes too long without success, the spinning will be
aborted to prevent excessive vibrations.
Should this happen, please ensure that the clothes inside the machine are not
entangled or caught together and start the «Spin» program after manually
distributing the laundry.
If there is a few clothes in the machine (e.g. a single pair of jeans or a bog
towel), the machine may refuse to start tumble-drying because of an obvious
imbalance. Therefore, please add a certain quantity of smaller items to every
batch, so as to ensure an even distribution of laundry during tumble-drying.
MAINTENANCE
ATTENTION
– Attention! Always pull the plug from the electric socket and close the water
supply valve before cleaning, care and maintenance described below.
– Never use solvents for cleaning to avoid damage to the washing machine and
the emission of toxic or explosive gases.
– Do not spill water on the washing machine while cleaning.
– Do not use PCMX (chloroxylene) -containing detergents, ethyl alcohol, formic
acid or their equivalents for cleaning the appliance, as these substances can
damage it.
CLEANING THE APPLIANCE
Regular and careful cleaning of the appliance will allow extending its
service life and retain its appealing exterior. If necessary wipe the outer
surface of the machine with a mild, non-abrasive detergent. In case of a water
spill, immediately collect the water with a towel. Do not use sharp objects to
clean the machine to avoid damaging the housing and impeding its operation.
ATTENTION
Never use aggressive chemicals, abrasive cleaning agents or solvents for
cleaning the appliance. They can damage the exterior finish.
CLEANING THE INSIDE OF THE DRUM
Wipe the drum dry after each use to remove any residues from the tap water,
washing chemicals, dirt and fabric particles, as well as to prevent additional
moisture from staying inside the drum and causing mould growth. Metal clothing
components (buttons, zippers, studs) can leave rust stains inside the drum –
take care to remove these stains without delay. The use of aggressive
detergents or rust removers for cleaning the drum is not allowed, therefore
regular preventive care is the best solution.
Besides, the washing machine has «Drum clean» function to assist you in
hygiene maintenance.
CLEANING THE DOOR GLASS AND SEAL
Wipe the glass and seal after each laundry to remove pile and stains.
Remove coins, buttons and other small objects from the folds of the door seal
after each laundry.
Water staying for a prolonged time inside the folds of the door seal can cause
an unpleasant smell.
CLEANING THE PUMP FILTER
The drain pump filter can retain scraps of fabric and small foreign objects
during laundry.
Regularly clean the filter to ensure proper operation of the washing machine.
Check the pump if the machine fails to drain water or tumble dry the laundry,
as well as if it emits an unusual noise during draining, which may be caused
by foreign objects blocking the pump.
– Depending on the program, hot water may be pumped through the drain pump.
– Never remove the pump cover during the rinsing cycle. Wait for the appliance
to complete operation in the relevant mode and start draining the water.
– Ensure the filter and the cover plate are properly seated when reinstalling
them.
- Remove the cover plate.
- Remove the filter by turning it counterclockwise.
- Remove foreign objects from the filter.
- Reinstall the filter and close the cover plate.
CLEANING THE WATER INTAKE FILTER
- Close the valve and disconnect the tube from it.
- Disconnect the water supply tube from the washing machine. Pull out the filter with long pliers.
- Clean the water intake filter.
- Refit the filter and reconnect the water supply tube.
- Clean the filter every 3 month to ensure proper operation of the washing machine.
NOTE: Clean the valve filter first, then the filter in the washing
machine.
CLEANING THE WASHING AGENT TRAY AND ITS COMPARTMENTS
- Press the latch (located above the rinser/conditioner compartment) and remove the tray.
- Rinse the tray with water.
- Clean the inside of the compartment with an old toothbrush or something similar.
- Reinstall the tray and return it to its original position.
NOTE:
– Do not use alcohol, solvents and chemicals for cleaning.
– It is recommended to clean the washing agent tray every 3 months.
