Brief Introduction
Shadow industrial and warehouse infrared heaters combine the marketed leading
Ultra Low Glare infrared lamp technology, with advanced outer casing
construction, allowing us to achieve up to 18kW of short-wave infrared heat.
Infrared industrial heaters offer an ideal alternative to traditional gas or
blown heating systems. The direct short-wave infrared emitted heats people and
objects. They efficiently heat specific areas of wide open commercial and
industrial spaces. They can be used to heat workbenches, packing desks and
workstations. Minimising the need to waste energy heating the whole space.

the fireguard does not give full protection for young children and for infirm persons.
Installation
For additional protection the installation of a residual current device (RCD) is advisable.
- Remove all package material (including anti-vibration object of the lamp) and check the appliance, supply cord and the plug for signs of damage.
- Pay attention to the mounting place and all mounting material(dowels, screws). Ensure they are suitable and stable enough for mounting and lastingly holding of the appliance.
- Before mounting, the minimum safe mounting distances and tilt angles shown in the figures must be strictly followed:
- The distance between the bottom edge of the appliance and the floor must be at least 2.5M (3.0M for the 6kw version).
- There must be a distance of at least 0.5 M between the appliance and the ceilings, roofs or other covers.
- There must be a distance of at least 1.0 M (1.5M for the 6kw version) at each side between the appliance and adjacent walls. See figure 2.
- Remember that degree to mounting surface is 45° when wall mounted. Figure 3
- Pay attention that, the installation of the appliance must not add excessive wind load.
- Fix the mounting bracket on the wall first. Ensure that the place to be installed is secure and firm.
- The heaters are also widely used hung from the ceiling. When ceiling mounted the heaters are more efficient if mounted at a slight angle of between 10-20° to create better heat distribution.
- Adjust the desired angle of radiation and fest screw all screws. Check regularly the screw’s connection. Mechanical bearing pressure and oscillation could lead to loosen the fittings.
- Plug in the power source. Then observe, whether during the first 10-15 minutes the appliance works trouble-free. Unplug from the power outlet and wait until the appliance is sufficiently cooled off before cleaning.
