specialized company authorized for the installation and maintenance of gas
cookers.
The following requirements should be strictly observed in order to
avoidsituations hazardous for human life and health, as well as premature
failures of the appliance:
- The use of a gas cooker will generate heat and humidity in the kitchen. The room should be well ventilated: keep the natural ventilation opening unobstructed or provide forced ventilation facilities. In case of prolonged and intensive use of the cooker provisions for additional ventilation should be ensured, e.g. operating a forced ventilation device at a higher airchange capacity.
- The location and operation of the gas bottles connected to the cooker should comply with the local safety and gas supply regulations valid in Your region.
- The main gas supply valve shall be located in a visible and easily accessible place.
- The following is not allowed in order to avoid the risk of fire:
- Using a malfunctioning cooker.
- Installing the cooker in locations with high fire risks (near wooden surfaces and surfaces lined with wallpapers, combustible plastic, etc.).
- Leaving the operating cooker unattended.
- Using the cooker for purposes other than intended (for room heating, drying clothes, etc.).
- Making modifications to the cooker’s design.
- Storing combustible substances, spray cans, paper, rags, etc. near the cooker.
- Letting children access the operating cooker.
- The appliance should not be used by physically, sensory or mentally handicapped persons (including children) or by persons without sufficient experience or knowledge, unless such persons are under supervision, or have been instructed on the use of the appliance, by the persons responsible for their safety. Take precautions not to children play with the appliance.
- Immediately call the gas repair service to eliminate the gas leak.
- The main gas supply valve shall be closed when the cooker is not in use.
- Disconnect the gas supply hose from the cooker prior to washing and other maintenance activities.
- Regularly (at least once every six months) check condition of the power cable and gas supply hose. If any defects (cracks, traces of melting, loss of elasticity) should be revealed, immediately apply to a repair service for replacement.
- Take special precautions when cooking dishes with high fat or oil content. These can easily ignite when overheated.
CAREFUL : accessible surfaces of the appliance can reach high temperature during operation. Do not touch the hot surfaces.
ATTENTION: Should the smell of gas occur in the room, immediately close the gas bottle valve or the main gas supply valve, close all valves on the cooker, open all windows and do not perform any activities related to the generation of flame or sparks: do not light matches, smoke, turn on electric lights and appliances, etc.! Close all valves and check all gas hose fittings by smearing with soap suds. Bubbles will appear in leaking places. Tighten the clamps at hose attachment points until full disappearance of the bubbles. If you discover a gas leak, close the gas bottle outlet valve immediately.
NOTE: burns are the most frequent accidents related to cookers! These are usually caused by:
- touching hot parts of the cooker;
- spilling boiling liquids;
- tipping over the vessel on the burner.

- The cooker should be installed with a minimum gap of 60 mm from the nearest wall. The wall behind the cooker should be lined with fire-resistant material. The minimum distance from the side of the cooker to vertical furniture panels should be (left and right) should be 200 mm. The minimum vertical distance from the cooker to any overhead shelves or cabinets should be 850 mm.
CONNECTION
Before connecting the cooker ensure that the available gas supply system (gas type and pressure) correspond to the cooker’s settings.
- Connect the cooker to the gas bottle via a pressure regulator (reducer).
- The pressure regulator is not supplied with the cooker and should be purchased separately.
- The cooker can be connected via a rigid pipeline or a flexible hose in accordance with the applicable standards.
- If the natural gas pressure exceeds the allowable limit (25 mbar), a pressure reducer shall be installed in the supply line to reduce the pressure to the appropriate value.
- Prior to connecting the cooker ensure that the control knob is in the zero position.
- After making the connections check burner operation. The burner flame should be uniform, without interruptions or gaps.
CONNECTING VIA A FLEXIBLE HOSE
The following requirements should be observed during the installation and

- a damaged hose shall be replaced completely, no repairs are allowed.
Do not check fitting tightness or search for leaks with a lit match or any other open flame!
ATTENTION: if the cooker is connected to a building gas supply system that does not comply with the potential equalization requirements a special isolating joint or a dielectric flexible hose should be used for connecting the cooker.

- Remove burners for easier cleaning.
- Enamel coated burner caps and the grille can be carefully cleaned with a metal brush or a rag with abrasive cleaning powder.
- Do not use steam to clean the cooker.
ROOM VENTILATION REQUIREMENTS
Constant supply of oxygen is required to support combustion. Besides,
accumulation of non-combusted gases shall be avoided and the combustion
products extracted. Special ventilation facilities should be provided for this
purpose, the room should be equipped with an exhaust ventilation channel. If
there are no ventilation devices or channels in the room where the cooker is
operated, or if these are of insufficient capacity, additional ventilation
facilities shall be provided in the form of a ventilation opening as per the
requirements provided below (a door or window can serve as such an opening,
however, the rooms into which they open should have a direct exhaust into an
outdoor area and provide for the abovementioned functions of supplying oxygen
and extracting combustion products.
The air intake capacity should not be less than 2 m3/h per 1 kW of burner
output. Use the table below to facilitate calculation of ventilation opening
sizes.
ROOM AREA | VENTILATION OPENING SIZE |
---|---|
under 5 m³ | min. 100 cm² |
5 m³ to 10 m³ | min. 50 cm² |
over 10 m³ | not required |
