Product Information

The Iron 280 is a table designed for medical purposes. It is equipped with a Vinyl Flex cushion and a lifting system that allows the table to be adjusted to a height range of 44-62 cm. The table also features a drop technique for the pelvic and chest areas and a paper roll holder with a cutter. The table can withstand a maximum load of 200 kg.

Safe Usage Conditions

  • Make sure all parts are properly assembled and tightened before use.
  • Do not use the product if it is malfunctioning or damaged.
  • Use the product only for its intended purpose.
  • Ensure that safety measures are taken when performing the drop technique.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before using the table, read the manual and included safety instructions thoroughly.
  2. Check that all parts and tools listed in the manual are present before unpacking.
  3. Assemble the armrest cushion to the hinge using screw-D and washer-G.
  4. To adjust the table height, pull the knob on the adjustable leg and adjust the leg to the desired height. Ensure that the leg locks securely into the metal frame before use.
  5. To adjust the face cushions, adjust the distance between them to the desired position and tighten the securing screw.
  6. To use the drop technique, ensure that the patient is positioned safely and securely on their stomach. Only qualified personnel should perform the technique to avoid injury to the patient.
  7. For the pelvic drop technique, apply quick and vigorous pressure to the black chest section of the table.
  8. For the chest drop technique, lift the chest section and apply pressure to the black neck section of the table.
  9. To adjust the pelvic section, pull the lever on both sides of the table and release when the desired position is achieved.
  10. After use, clean and maintain the table according to the instructions in the manual.

APPLICATION

The Iron 280 stationary table is a professional table for chiropractic, manual techniques and osteopathy. Thanks to a wide range of adjustments in various planes, segments for “drop” techniques and an electric top lifting system, the table is a perfect complement to the therapist’s work. Due to its design solutions and functions, the product should be used by personnel qualified in the field of manual therapy, chiropractic or osteopathy.

GENERAL SAFETY AND USE OF THE TABLE

  1. Please read the instructions before using the product.
  2. Before using, place the product on a flat surface.
  3. Before use, make sure that the product does not wobble or tilt, and that all elements are properly attached and tightened.
  4. Do not use the product if any of the product components are malfunctioning or damaged.
  5. Do not stand or jump on the product.
  6. Do not put fingers or other parts of the body into the area of the regulation mechanisms.
  7. Do not expose the product to strong sunlight.
  8. Do not use the product in extreme temperature and humidity conditions.
  9. Do not allow the product to be loaded with a pressure greater than the maximum specified in the technical parameters, ie 200 [kg].
  10. Use the product only in accordance with its intended purpose, in the event of use other than that specified in this manual, there is a serious risk of injury, damage to health and damage to the product.
  11. Do not make any modifications or repairs to the product, do not disassemble the product.
  12. In the event of finding any defects, immediately contact the manufacturer and do not use the product until the defect is remedied.
  13. No contraindications for the use of the product only after meeting the above recommendations.

CONSTRUCTION OF THE TABLE

  1. Frame – a strong and durable structure made of a steel bearing frame covered with a varnish coating.
  2. Support elements – made of 75 [mm] high-quality foam covered with a soft Vinyl Flex finish.
  3. Table lifting system in the range of 44-62 [cm]
  4. A system that enables the “drop” technique to be carried out on the pelvic, thoracic and cervical spine.
  5. Tilted and raised headrest system.
  6. Hygienic pad holder with a cutting system.

INSTALLATION

  1. Remove the table from the packaging and place it on a level and clean floor with the top of the table facing down.
    Attention: It is important that the floor be level, clean and free of any sharp objects. We recommend using a soft blanket under the table top to protect the upholstery.

  2. Unfold the legs and attach the “L” shape metal frame to the body frame and to the pneumatic pump with screw-B, screw-C, washer-F and Nut-H.

  3. Attach the table leg pivots to the table frame using screw-A and washer-E on the two ends as shown in the drawing.

  4. Attach the arm-rest cushion to the hinge using screw-D and washer-G.

  5. Set the table upright.
    Attention: Recheck installation of all nuts, bolts, and washers to make sure they are properly tightened. At least two people are required to carry the table.

OPERATION

  1. Table height adjustment.

    • Pull the knob on the adjustable leg and simultaneously adjust the leg to your desired height.
      Attention: Ensure that the leg locks securely.
  2. Face cushion adjustment.

    • Adjust the gap between the face pads to the desired position and tighten with the locking screw.
      Attention: Adjust the face cushions properly to ensure that the client can breathe freely.
  3. Headrest angle adjustment.

    • Loosen the black knob and adjust the angle of the headrest to the desired position.
    • After adjustment, lock the knob in its original position.
  4. Headrest height adjustment.

    • To raise the headrest, grab the frame of the headrest cushions and lift up, the frame will automatically lock in the desired position.
    • To lower the headrest, lift the frame release handle and lower the headrest to the desired position.
  5. Paper roll holder and cutter.

    • Feed the paper through the face cushion while making sure that the paper is fed under the rod between the cushions. Close the paper cutter over the paper and tear off the excess paper.
  6. Using the drop function.
    Before starting the drop techniques, lay the patient on his stomach, make sure that the patient’s position is safe, all belaying elements have been adjusted to the patient’s anatomy. The technique should be performed only by qualified personnel, improper execution of the technique may result in permanent injury to the patient.

    • a) Drop for the cervical section.
      Lift the toggle cervical drop by pushing the black handle downward. Reset the cervical vertebra by pressing the client’s cervical vertebra firmly and quickly allowing the thoracic drop to lower.

    • b) Drop for the thoracic section.
      Raise the chest section by pressing the lever downwards (for the therapist’s convenience, the lever is located on both sides under this table section). Perform the chest drop technique by quickly and vigorously pressing down on the cervical region, which will force the cervical section of the table to drop.

    • c) Drop for the pelvic section.
      Raise the pelvic section by pressing the lever downwards (for the therapist’s convenience, the lever is located on both sides under this table section). Perform the pelvic drop technique with a quick and vigorous pressure that will force the table section to lower.

  7. Additional function of lifting the pelvic section.
    Raise the pelvic section by pulling the lever on both sides of the tabletop and release when the desired position is reached.

  8. Footrest adjustment.
    Pull the footrest to the desired position and lock it by tightening the screw.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

The metal structure of the table should be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild cleaning agents. The elements of the upholstery should be cleaned with generally available agents intended for cleaning upholstery. Do not use harsh chemicals and those based on alcohol.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS

  1. For the purposes of the guarantee:

    • a) “Manufacturer” refers to HABYS Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością (Limited Liability Company) with its registered seat in Jasło, ul. Produkcyjna 16, 38-200 Jasło, entered into the Register of Entrepreneurs kept by the District Court in Rzeszów, XII Commercial Division of the National Court Register, with the assigned KRS number: 0000513317, with the share capital in the amount of PLN 10.750.000 (ten million seven hundred fifty thousand zlotys), the capital has been fully paid up, NIP: 6852208438, REGON: 180186290.
    • b) “Buyer” refers to the final Buyer of the equipment, manufactured by the Manufacturer, including both the consumer and the entrepreneur.
    • c) “Distributor” refers to an entity that, under an agreement with the Manufacturer, sells the Equipment in a designated area.
    • d) “Authorized Service Centre” refers only to a service held by the Manufacturer or a service indicated by the Manufacturer and held by its Distributor,
    • e) “Equipment” refers to a movable item, manufactured by the Manufacturer, being the subject of the sales and to which the said warranty applies.
  2. The manufacturer ensures good quality and efficient operation of the equipment, for which the warranty card has been issued, for the period of: 2 years for constructional elements, 2 years for upholstered elements and 2 years for electronic and hydraulic accessories.

  3. The guarantee repair does not include the activities provided for in the manual, which the Buyer is obliged to perform on his own (installation of the Equipment, maintenance of the Equipment, etc.).

  4. Liability under the guarantee covers only defects resulting from causes inherent in the Equipment., In particular, the guarantee does not cover any damage resulting from improper or inconsistent use, storage, maintenance or transport of the Equipment, as well as colour differences between the parts exposed and not exposed to solar radiation, the influence of chemical or abrasive agents, atmospheric pollution or accidental punctures and abrasions, the presence of stains or rings from greasy or dying substances (fats, creams, lotions or oils), permanent staining with dyes such as inks, permanent markers or other nonpermanent dyes used in the production of clothing (e.g. dyes used to make blue jeans).

  5. The guarantee does not cover any mechanical damage to the Equipment.

  6. The buyer loses the guarantee rights in the event of:
    a) the Manufacturer states that the Equipment was repaired by entity other than the Authorized Service,
    b) making any design modifications to the Equipment without the prior written consent of the Manufacturer,
    c) using the Equipment contrary to its intended use,
    d) using the Equipment after revealing any defect in it.

  7. Regardless of the loss of the guarantee rights, described above, in point 6, the Manufacturer shall not be liable for any damage to property or caused to third parties, which may be caused by the use of the Equipment covered by the guarantee.

  8. The guarantee does not exclude or limit the rights resulting from the warranty for defects. Exercising the rights under the guarantee does not affect the seller’s liability under the warranty for defects. If the Buyer exercises the rights under the guarantee, the time limit for the exercise of the rights under the warranty for defects is suspended on the date the Manufacturer is notified of the defect. The period runs further from the date of the Manufacturer’s refusal to perform the obligations arising from the guarantee or the ineffective expiry of the time for their performance.

  9. The scope of the guarantee coverage is limited to the territory of the country in which the Equipment was sold.

  10. The Manufacturer shall perform its obligations under the guarantee (removal of defects or damage to the structure of the Equipment arising from reasons inherent in the Equipment, and disclosed during the guarantee period) free of charge within 14 days from the date of delivery of the Equipment to the Manufacturer or the Authorized Service Centre. If the repair of the Equipment cannot be performed within the above-mentioned period, the Manufacturer shall inform the Buyer of the above, and also indicate the reasons for the delay and the expected date of fulfilment of the recognized guarantee request.

  11. The use of the guarantee rights requires the total (cumulative) fulfilment of four conditions:

    • a) presenting a VAT invoice, receipt or other proof of purchase of the equipment to the Manufacturer, photographic documentation of the defective Equipment, together with a brief description of the reasons for submitting a guarantee claim,
    • b) reporting the defect within 14 (fourteen) days of its detection,
    • c) delivering the Equipment in original packaging at the expense of the Manufacturer, to the address indicated above in the guarantee card or to the address of the Authorized Service Centre,
    • d) designation of the place where the Manufacturer delivers the equipment after repairing it (limited to the country in which the Equipment was purchased).
  12. The guarantee period is extended for the duration of the repair, starting from the date of delivery of the Equipment to the Manufacturer or to the Authorized Service Centre, to the date on which the Equipment was returned to the Buyer.

  13. The responsibility of the Manufacturer or the Authorized Service Centre is to define the scope and the method of repairing the Equipment.

  14. The guarantee is limited to the repair of the Equipment. The Manufacturer reserves the right to replace the Equipment with a non-defective one, if the repair exceeds the price of the Equipment indicated in the proof of purchase. Under the guarantee, the Buyer shall not be entitled to demand that the Equipment be replaced with a new one. The guarantee, in particular, does not cover liability for losses or damages incurred by the Buyer in connection with the fact that one is not able to use the Equipment.

  15. The Manufacturer shall not be liable for any damage to the Equipment caused during the performance of the transport service by the delivery company until it is collected by the Manufacturer from the delivery company.

  16. If the shipment of the Equipment was ordered by the Manufacturer, the Buyer is obliged to check the technical condition of the Equipment upon its receipt. If the Buyer finds that the Equipment has been damaged during the transport, the Buyer is obliged to:

    • a) immediately, not later than within 3 days from the date of receipt of the shipment, notify the
      Manufacturer of any damage to the Equipment that occurred during transport, in order to enable the
      Manufacturer to submit a complaint to the delivery company and pursue related claims,

    • b) provide the Producer with a complaint report drawn up between the Buyer and the delivery company.

  17. The guarantee regulations contained in this document are the sole and exclusive guarantee rules for HABYS limited liability products.
