CITRUS JUICER INSTRUCTION MANUAL
Dear Customer,
Thank You for purchasing a CENTEK brand product. We guarantee flawless
function of this item, provided the guidelines of its operation are observed.
Prior to operating the appliance, please carefully read the present manual
which contains important information regarding its proper and safe operation.
Take care not to lose the present manual. The manufacturer will not be
responsible for any damage resulting from improper use of the appliance or
from non-observance of the instructions and provisions of the present manual,
as well as from attempts by unskilled persons at repairing the appliance.
Should You decide to transfer the appliance to another person, please pass the
present manual over along with it.
The citrus juicer is a household appliance and is not intended for
industrial use!
SAFETYY PRECAUTIONS
The appliance purchased by You complies with all official safety standards
applicable to electric appliances in the Russian Federation.
The following requirements should be strictly observed in order to avoid
situations hazardous for human life and health, as well as premature failures
of the appliance:

Ensure that the power supply grid voltage corresponds to the one indicated on the appliance before connecting it to power supply.

When disconnecting the appliance from power supply always pull the plug, not the cable.
-
Always disconnect the appliance from power supply when not in use.
-
Always disconnect the appliance from power supply in case of any malfunctions, before changing attachments or cleaning and after use.
-
Do not use the appliance for any purposes other than specified in the present manual.
The operation, storage and maintenance of the appliance should always be performed in accordance with the present manual. -
Regularly check integrity of the power cable and unit housing. Do not use the appliance in case of any damage.

Avoid the presence of children and animals near the operating appliance.

Do not use the appliance if there is a danger of fire or explosion, e.g. near flammable liquids or gases.

In case of damage to the power cable it should be replaced by the Manufacturer or any other skilled personnel. Have the power cable replaced at an authorized service centre.

Do not leave the operating appliance unattended.

Always install the appliance on a smooth surface.
– Use only the attachments included in the scope of supply. -
This type of appliance is designed for operation in moderate climates at ambient temperatures ranging from +15 to +30 °С and a maximum relative humidity of 65 %.

The appliance should not be used by physically, sensory or mentally handicapped persons (including children) or by persons without sufficient experience or knowledge, unless such persons are under supervision, or have been instructed on the use of the appliance, by the persons responsible for their safety. Take precautions not to let children play with the appliance.

Special instructions for transportation (shipment) and sale: none.

In case of any malfunctions apply to a service center.
ATTENTION! Never submerge the appliance in water or other liquids! Do not
operate the appliance in wet environments and places where liquids may be
splashed on it! Never operate the appliance in a bathroom, near swimming pools
and other sources of moisture! Do not touch the appliance with wet hands!
ATTENTION! Never use the appliance in the state of alcoholic or narcotic
intoxication or in other conditions preventing normal perception of reality.
Do not allow persons in the abovementioned conditions or in the abovementioned
circumstances use the appliance!
ATTENTION! The present manual cannot provide for all possible emergency
situations that may emerge during the operation of the appliance. The user
shall take all reasonable precautions during the use of the appliance!

OPERATING PROCEDURE
-
Take the unit out of the box and remove the packaging materials (if any).

Wipe the housing and attachments with damp cloth.
-
Thoroughly wash the cap (1), conical attachments (2, 3), strainer (4) and jug (6) in warm water with detergent. Then rinse all these parts with clean running water and wipe dry with a soft towel.
-
Set the base on a smooth, dry, stable surface. The appliance shall be disconnected from power supply during assembly.

Install the jug (6) on the base (7) in such way that the motor shaft (5) is centered in the opening of the jug (6).
-
Place the strainer (4) inside the juice collector jug (6).
-
If you plan to press the juice from smaller citrus fruits, install the conical attachment (3) on the shaft.
-
If you plan to press large citrus fruits, insert the attachment (3) into the attachment (2) first. Ensure that both attachments are properly aligned with each other. Place the thus assembled cone on the motor shaft.

Disassemble the juicer in reverse order.
USING THE JUICER FOR JUICING CITRUS FRUIT
-
Ensure that the juicer is properly assembled and connect it to power supply.
-
Cut each citrus fruit to be juiced in half.
-
Take a half of the fruit and carefully press it on the conical attachment (2) or (3) with the cut section. As soon as you press the fruit down on the attachment the motor will automatically start running and the cone will start rotating. As soon as you release the pressure the motor will stop. Take the juiced half of the fruit from the cone and proceed with the other fruits.

After use disconnect the power cable from the power supply socket.
Note: Press the fruit to the cone multiple times to press as much juice
as possible.
Warning: do not press too hard on the conical attachment as you may block
the engine. The maximum continuous pressing time should not exceed 2 minutes.
Take a 3-minute break after each 2 minutes of continuous pressing.
MAINTENANCE

Clean the appliance after each use. Always disconnect the appliance from power supply before cleaning.

Grab the collecting jug (6) by the handle and remove from the shaft together with the other parts by turning it clockwise. Take the accessory assembly to a wash basin and take it apart into individual parts. Thoroughly wash all parts in warm water with a kitchen detergent. Then rinse with clean running water and wipe dry with a soft
towel.
Note: -
We recommend washing the juicer immediately after use, before the pulp dries and sticks to the parts. Otherwise it will be hard to remove.

Clean the base (7) with a cloth slightly dampened with a neutral kitchen detergent solution. After washing wipe the base (7) dry.
-
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, solvents, etc. This may damage the unit’s paint coating.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
The packaging and the appliance itself are made of recyclable materials.
Whenever possible, please discard those into a waste container provided for
recyclable materials.
DISPOSAL
Upon expiry of its service life the appliance can be disposed of separately
from ordinary domestic waste. You can turn it over to a specialized electric
and electronic appliance disposal and recycling centre. The materials will be
processed in accordance with their classification. By turning the discarded
appliance over for recycling You will make a considerable contribution to
environmental protection. You can obtain a list of electric and electronic
appliance disposal and recycling centers from Your local municipal
authorities.
CERTIFICATION DATA, GUARANTEE
The product is certified in accordance with the Law on Consumer Rights
Protection. This appliance complies with all official national safety
standards applicable to electric appliances in the Russian Federation. The
service life of this item is 5 years since the date of sale to the end user,
provided the item will be used in strict accordance with the present manual
and the applicable technical standards. Upon expiry of the service life please
contact the nearest authorized service centre for suggestions as to further
operation of the appliance.
The manufacturing date of the appliance is integrated into the serial number
(digits 2 and 3 – year, digits 4 and 5 – month of manufacture). Guarantee and
post-guarantee maintenance is provided by the General Service Center OOO
«Larina-Servis» (Russia, Krasnodar), phone: +7 (861) 991-05-42. The address of
the facility authorized with receiving buyer claims, maintenance and repairs
is shown on the website https://centek.ru/servis, otherwise refer to the
store or other legal entity, where you have purchased this appliances. The
product is provided with the Certificate of Conformity.

DEAR CONSUMER!
The guarantee period for al l appl iances amounts to 12 months from the date
of sal e to the end consumer. With this Warranty Card the Manufacturer
confirms the proper condition of the appliance and undertakes to repair, free
of charge, all defects caused by the Manufacturer’s default
GUARANTEE MAINTENANCE TERMS

The guarantee shall be valid if the following documentation conditions are observed:
• The original Warranty Card shall be filled out correctly and clearly, indicating the of appliance model, serial number and sale date, the stamp of the seller company and signature of its representative shall be available, as well as the stamps on each coupon and the buyer’s signature in the Warranty Card.
The Manufacturer reserves the right to reject guarantee maintenance if the buyer fails to provide the abovementioned documents or if the information contained therein is incomplete, illegible or ambiguous. -
The guarantee shall be valid if the following operation conditions are observed:
• the appliance is used in strict accordance with the present manual;
• the safety rules and requirements are observed. -
The guarantee does not apply to regular maintenance, cleaning, installation and setup of the appliance at the owner’s location.

The guarantee does not apply in the following cases:
• mechanical damage;
• normal wear of the appliance;
• non-observance of operation requirements or erroneous actions on the part of the user;
• improper installation or transportation;
• natural disasters (lightning, fire, flood, etc.), as well as any other causes beyond the Manufacturer’s or Seller’s control;
• ingress of foreign objects, liquids or insects into the inside of the appliance;
• repairs or modifications to the appliance by unauthorized persons;
• use of the appliance for commercial purposes (loads exceeding normal domestic application), connection of the appliance to utility and telecommunication networks incompliant with national technical standards;
• failure of the following accessories, if replacement of these is allowed by design and does not involve disassembly of the appliance:
a) remote control units, rechargeable batteries, replaceable batteries (power cells), external power supply units and chargers;
b) consumables and accessories (packaging, covers, slings, carry bags, mesh screens, blades, flasks, plates, supports, grilles, spits, hoses, tubes, brushes, nozzles, dust collectors, filters, smell absorbers);
• for battery-powered appliances – operation with inappropriate or depleted batteries;
• for rechargeable battery-powered appliances – any damage caused by improper battery charging and recharging. -
The present guarantee is provided by the Manufacturer in addition to the consumer rights determined by the applicable legislation and does not limit these rights in any way.

The Manufacturer shall not be made liable for possible damage, directly or indirectly inflicted by CENTEK brand products on people, domestic animals, the consumer’s or third persons’ property if such damage is inflicted as the result of non-observance of appliance installation and operation requirements, deliberate or negligent actions (omission) by the consumer or third persons, as well as of force majeure circumstances.

Service centers will only accept appliances in a clean state (there should be no food residues, dust and other contamination on the appliance).
The Manufacturer reserves the right to change the design and specifications of the appliance without prior notice.

Attention! Please require the Seller to completely fill in the Warranty
card and tear-off coupons. The Warranty Card is only valid if completed with
all stamps and records.
