REZNOR LDAP-400 Heat Exchanger Gasket Kit Unit Heaters
Product Information
The LDAP Heat Exchanger Gasket Kit is designed for installation in unit heaters of model LDAP. The kit comprises of top/bottom header panel gaskets and side heater panel gaskets. The kit is available in PN 209211, with component PNs 207727 (2) for top/bottom header panel gaskets and 207728 (2) for side heater panel gaskets. The number of heat exchangers varies according to the unit size; unit size 400 has one heat exchanger, unit size 800 has two, and unit size 1200 has three.
Product Usage
Before installing the heat exchanger gasket kit, ensure that you have read and understood all the instructions provided in the installation manual provided with the heater. Please follow the below steps to install the heat exchanger gasket kit:
Danger
Please note that the installation process involves handling of electrical
components that can be hazardous. Please follow all safety precautions
provided in the installation manual.
- Install Header Panel Gaskets:
- Position top/bottom (1) and front/rear (2) gaskets as shown in Figure 1 and align holes–ignore large holes in bottom gasket.
- To apply gasket(s), start at end and gradually peel backing from gasket as it is adhered. Repeat with each strip.
- Complete Replacement Heat Exchanger Installation:
- Inspect and clean cabinet, burner, and vent system.
- Replace any components that are not structurally sound.
- When installation of replacement heat exchanger is complete, start up heater (refer to installation manual provided with heater):
- Follow instructions on lighting instruction plate to restart heater.
- CHECK ALL SAFETY FEATURES FOR PROPER OPERATION.
MODEL LDAP
- To prevent damage during shipping or storage, gasket kits for replacement heat exchangers are shipped in a parts bag.
- Gasket kits should be attached to the replacement heat exchanger at the time of installation.
- All gaskets are self-adhesive and are cut to size.
- Refer to the installation manual provided with the heater for important safety information.
- Ensure that all components listed in Table 1 are available before beginning installation.

Unit size 400 has one (1) heat exchanger, unit size 800 has two (2),
and unit size 1200 has three (3). A gasket kit is provided with each
replacement heat exchanger.

- Proper installation and sealing of the heat exchanger to the heater is necessary for reliable and safe operation. Failure to properly install could result in property damage, personal injury, and/or death.
- The replacement heat exchanger should be installed by a qualified service agency in compliance with all codes and requirements of authorities having jurisdiction.
Install the heat exchanger gasket kit as follows:

Install header panel gaskets:
NOTE: The header panel gaskets are sealing gaskets and must cover the full length of the surface.- Position top/bottom (1) and front/rear (2) gaskets as shown in Figure 1 and align holes—ignore large holes in bottom gasket.
- To apply gasket(s), start at end and gradually peel backing from gasket as it is adhered. Repeat with each strip.
