Introduction
Overview
The MTS700N is an app-controlled, smart, programmable thermostat that helps you save energy and stay comfortable, compatible with most heating or cooling applications with a plug, including portable space heaters, infrared heaters, oil-filled radiators, electric fireplace heaters, window air conditioners, evaporative coolers, swamp coolers, etc.

Set Up Your Smart Plug
- lnstall Smart Life app
- Get the Smart Life app from the App Store or Google Play, or scan the QR code below to download it.
- Open the Smart Life app and add device, also turn on your phone’ s WiFi and Bluetooth settings, choose the Socket(WiFi) or Socket(BLE) to connect the smart plug, then follow step-by-step app instructions to complete the setup.
App Operation Instructions

Manual Mode
Tap the button to turn it on/off the socket manually. -
Simple Thermostat Mode
- Select the heating or cooling mode and then adjust the target temperature.
- IMPORTANT: you have to adjust the target temperature to activate the Simple Thermostat Mode, even if the currently target temperature is already your desired temperature!

CountDown Mode
- Tap the button to choose Countdown Mode, 1 min~60 min optional.
- Warm Tips: If you want the socket to turn on after the time you set, please manually turn off the socket first and then set the countdown mode, and vice versa.
- Programalbe Thermostat Mode
- Tap the button and then turn on the “Weekly program (multi-stage)” to activate Programable Thermostat Mode.
- IMPORTANT: When setting the weekly programming, please select the heating or cooling mode in advance on the home page.
- Tap the “Week Program” to start setting your 7-day flexible scheduling, 4 time periods can be set per day. Press and hold the week icon to copy the current settings to another day.
For example,
- Period 1: 06:00, target temperature: 33°C;
- Period 2: 08:00, target temperature: 25°C;
- Period 3: 17:00, target temperature: 18°C;
- Period 4: 22:00, target temperature: 26°C;
Temperature control:
- 06:0o~oa :oo, 33°c;
- 08:00~ 17: 00, 25°(;
- 17:00~22 :00, 18°(;
- 22:00~06: 00, 26°(;
- Week Program: set 7-day scheduling
- Temperature unit : °C/°F
- Temperature calibration: calibrate the current temperature
- Target temperature lower offset-: The default is 0, corresponding to ± 1 °C turn on/off the socket. For example, set the target temperature to 25°C, heating mode, target temperature lower offset-: 1, the socket will turn on at 25-2=23°C while defaulting at 25-1 =24°C.
- Target temperature upper offset-: The default is 0, corresponding to ± 1 °C turn on/off the socket. For example, set the target temperature to 25°C, heating mode, target temperature upper offset+: 1, the socket will turn off at 25+2=27°C while defaulting at 25+1 =26°C.
- Compressor restart delay (min): Effective only in cooling mode, delayed start after the target temperature is reached to protect the compressor, e.g. in window air conditioners.
- On/Off (power restored & network failure): Default is OFF, when turn on, it is ON.
- Heating Temp Limit (Week Prog Offline): When the weekly heating program is set, if the network fails, the maximum temperature is allowed in the heating mode to protect electrical appliances and prevent fires.
- Cooling Temp Limit (Week Prog Offline): When a weekly cooling program is set, if the network fails, the Minimum temperature is allowed in the heating mode to protect electrical appliances and save energy.
Connect Your Smart Plug to Alexa
- Set up your Echo with Alexa app, and SIGN IN with your Amazon account and password.
- Link Smart Life account to Alexa, if you don’ t have an account, create one first.
- Tap “Skills&Games” in the hamburger menu, then search “Smart Life”. Select “Smart Life” and tap “ENABLE” to enable the Skill.
- You will be redirected to the account link page. Type in your Smart Life account and password, don’t forget to select the country/region where your account belongs to. Then tap “Link Now” to link your Smart Life account.
Control your smart devices through Echo
Echo needs to discover your smart devices before it controls them. After the
skill binding is successful, the page as figure1 will Appear automatically.
Click “DISCOVER
- DEVICES” to discover the device, or you can say “Alexa, discover devices” to Echo. Echo will discover devices which have already been added in the Smart Life App.
- You can also tap “DISCOVER DEVICES” to discover the smart devices. Discovered devices will be shown in the list.
- Note: every time you change the device’s name on Smart Life App, Echo must re-discover before you control them.
Control devices by voice commands.
- Now you can control your smart devices through Echo. You can use the following commands to control your thermostat:
- Alexa, turn on/off the thermostat.
- Alexa set the thermostat to 25°C.
- Alexa set the thermostat to heating mode.
Safety Information
- Keep the device away from water, fire, humidity, or hot environments.
- Do not attempt to disassemble, repair, or modify the device.
- Do not use devices where wireless devices are not allowed.
- Do not use equipment that exceeds the socket load (Max.16A).
