Frequently Asked Questions:

Q1: The APP cannot search for the device?****

– A1: Step1: Check the wiring to ensure the control box is powered.
– Step2: Open the Bluetooth settings of the mobile phone, power on normally, and the device can be searched on the mobile phone.
– Step3: For iPhone, please follow the steps below:
– 1) Please restart the mobile phone and download the “MIC Light” or “Mictuning” app.
– 2) Open the APP authorization and Bluetooth authorization (phone settings – privacy – Bluetooth – allowed apps).
– 3) Ensure the ALL DEVICES section has at least 1 device showing.
– 4) Tap the “Save Connections”, and add your “Rock Light-3Q1” or “Rock Light- 3Q1S” (or whatever version you have).
– If it is an Android phone, please follow the steps below:
– 1) Please restart the mobile phone and download the “MIC Light” or “Mictuning” app.
– 2) Turn on the location service and APP location authorization.
– 3) Allow all the permissions the app requests. If you don’t, the app will not work.
– 4) Tap on the settings (slider icon on the upper right).
– 5) Ensure the ALL DEVICES section has at least 1 device showing.
– 6) Tap the “Save Connections”, and add your “Rock Light-3Q1” or “Rock Light- 3Q1S” (or whatever version you have).
– 7) Tap the Back button on the upper-left.
– 8) Try the colors. If it works, that’s it. You can configure your lights the way you want.

Q2: No Bluetooth signal can be searched in the phone Bluetooth settings.****

– A2: Step1: Check whether the wiring and power supply are properly connected (ensure that no other mobile phone is connected to the device).
– Step2: Turn off the control box, restart it, and search close to the control box. If the device is still not found, please contact us.

Q3: In the case of APP connected to the device, the light is not controlled nor the colors.****

– A3: Step1: If the rock light can come on, you just need to check the controlled device option on the APP.
– Step2: If the controlled device is checked on the APP, the light still does not light up or the color cannot be changed, please contact us.

Q4: The APP cannot display the color correctly when switching colors.****

– A4:Step1: First of all, pls check if you have selected the control device on the app.
– Step2: Then pls turn on the test mode in the APP and connect the lights to test whether the red, green and blue colors work normally.
– Step3: If normal, pls kindly help to test the lights by plug every single lights in one time to see which pod light cannot display the color correctly.
– Step4: After that help to swap the light with to different sockets to see whether it can work normally.
– Step5: If still can’t get the pod light work. please contact us.

Q5: Why are all the lights flashing after installation****

– A5: Situation 1:
– Turn on the APP self-check function and connect a light to test. If it is normal, test all the lights and please contact us.
– Situation 2: Strobe mode is selected Adjust the flashing progress bar to the lowest

Q6: The white color of the light is not pure white, but other colors are normal****

– A6: Update APP (MIC Light or Mictuning)

Q7: Can APP control several sets of devices at the same time****

– A7: The APP can control 4 sets of devices of the same type simutaneously (such as 4 sets of rock lights), also it can control the device individually.

Q8: There are 2 or more sets of devices, one of which does not light up.****

– A8: 1) Check the wiring, restart, turn on the phone bluetooth setting, search for the device. If it no device can be found. In that case, please contact us.
– 2) If it can be searched, you just need to check the controlled device option on the APP or reconnect device.

Q9: How to judge whether the product is powered on correctly?****

– A9:
– Step1: First, after connecting the cable, turn on the switch, the switch indicator lights up.
– Step2: Then, turn on the Bluetooth settings of the mobile phone and search for the device signal Rock Light-3Q1 or Rock Light-3Q1S, which means that the connection is correct and the product is powered on normally. If not, check whether the connection of wire harness is correct.
