Eventide eQ45 Parametric EQ

Product Information

The EQ45 is a stand-alone parametric equalizer that is designed to provide flexible options for audio applications. It is a lightweight product that is based on the circuit model of the Urei  545 parametric EQ. The EQ45 features high-resolution filters that allow users to make subtle or drastic changes to audio material without the unpleasant artifacts caused by limited dynamic range in hi Q filters. It comes with several filter sections, including Low Cut, Low, Mid, and High Bands, Multi Band, and High Cut Width. Each   filter section has its own gain control that allows attenuation and boost, ranging from -15 dB to 15 dB. The EQ45 also features an overload protection mechanism that responds when a signal’s transient extends above -0.1 dBfs.

Product Usage Instructions

To use the EQ45, follow the steps below:

  1. Install EQ45 in any supported DAW.

Located at the top of the EQ45 Plug-In, the Preset Bar lets you load and save presets, along with several other features. When EQ45 is installed, a library of settings is placed into the /Music/Eventide/EQ45/Presets folder (Mac) or the /Documents/Eventide/EQ45/Presets folder (Windows). These presets have a .tide extension and can be saved or loaded from the EQ45 preset bar in any supported DAW. In many DAWs there is an additional generic preset bar that saves DAW-specific presets to a separate location. We recommend saving your presets using the Eventide preset bar to ensure that your presets will be accessible from any DAW. You can also create sub-folders inside the preset folders, if you wish.
