Product Information

The APT65RGB TM Marine/Power Sports Tower Speakers are a
high-quality audio product designed for outdoor use. These speakers come with a limited warranty of one year and are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service. The product is not covered under warranty if it has been subjected to misuse, abuse, neglect, or accident. The product model number is APT65RGB TM and it is compatible with RGB lighting solutions.

Product Usage Instructions

Wakeboard Tower Mounting

1. Remove the bracket bolts from the top bracket from the tubbie.
2. Hold the bottom bracket up to the mounting surface. Place the top bracket over the wakeboard tower surface and install the mounting bolts.
3. Tighten the bracket bolts as needed to secure the tubbie bracket on the wakeboard tower.
4. Once the tubbie has been positioned and secured at the needed position, install the back-up safety cable around the wakeboard tower.

Note: Use the supplied hardware to secure the bracket to the mounting surface.

Adjusting the Mounting Angle of Tubbie

1. Loosen the round adjustment nut by turning it counterclockwise.
2. Swivel tubbie to the desired angle.
3. Once the desired angle is reached, retighten the nut by turning it clockwise.

Note: No special tools are required to make the adjustment since hand tightening is all that is required for a secure adjustment.

Connecting Your Speaker

Connect your speaker to your amplifier or receiver using the supplied weather- resistant plug and harness. The RGB accent lighting function requires the use of either (RGBC-8 Phone app) or (the Wireless Remote). Connect the positive wire to the positive terminal of your amplifier or receiver, and the negative wire to the negative terminal of your amplifier or receiver. For the RGBC-4RF module, connect the remote. For the RGBC-8 module, use the phone app.

Wiring Diagrams

The product is compatible with RGB lighting solutions and comes with wiring diagrams for your reference.

LIMITED WARRANTY

• DB Drive™ warrants any products purchased in the U.S.A. from an authorized DB Drive™ dealer. All products are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of one year.
• DB Drive™ will either repair or replace (as its option) any unit that has been found to be defective and under warranty provided the defect occurs within the warranty period.
• One (1) year if purchased through an authorized DB Drive™ dealer.
• This limited warranty does not extend to units that have been subjected to misuse, abuse, neglect, or accident.
• Products that in DB Drive™’s judgment show evidence of having been altered, modified, or serviced without DB Drive ™’s authorization, will be ineligible under this warranty.

WAKEBOARD TOWER MOUNTING

MOUNTING THE BRACKET

1. Remove the bracket bolts from the top bracket from the stubbie.
2. Hold the bottom bracket up to the mounting surface. Place the top bracket over the wakeboard tower surface and install the mounting bolts.
3. Tighten the bracket bolts as needed to secure the tube bracket on the wakeboard tower.
4. Once the tube has been positioned and secured at the needed position, install the backup safety cable around the wakeboard tower. (Fig 1)

Note: Use the supplied hardware to secure the bracket to the mounting surface.
DB Research L.L.P. highly recommends that a certified installation technician installs of tubbie enclosure.If you choose to perform the installation yourself, it is absolutely necessary that the tubbie be properly mounted in a well-thought-out manner. Failure to mount the tubbie properly could present two issues: 1) The tubbies reliability and performance will suffer due to the movement of the tube caused by vibration on the craft.
An unproperly mounted enclosure presents a serious safety hazard, especially in rough conditions where loose mounting bolts could cause the mount to fail.

TO ADJUST THE MOUNTING ANGLE OF THE TUBBIE

LIMITED WARRANTY. What is not Covered? This warranty does not cover fading or discoloration caused by exposure to sunlight or cleaning with any cleaning chemicals or materials that contain abrasive substances. This warranty is void if DB Research L.L.P. deems that the product was abused or misused. Abuse causing thermal (burnt voice coil) and/or mechanical failure, improper installation, negligence, normal wear and tear, excessive or direct exposure to water. The warranty is non-transferable and only applies to the original sale. DB Research L.L.P. is not responsible for any possible damages to a person or consumer’s boat from a product failure.
