Product Information

The 4-in-1 HD 5MP Bullet Cameras with WDR are available in two models: EV-Y1501-A2WWQ and EV-Y1501-AMWWQ. The camera comes in white color and has a bullet-style housing. It has a resolution of 5MP and operates on 12VDC voltage. The EV-Y1501-A2WWQ model has a 2.8mm lens, while the EV-Y1501-AMWWQ model has a 2.8~12 mm varifocal lens. The camera features 3DNR, 2DNR, and WDR, and it comes with an OSD (On-Screen Display) manual that can be downloaded from the manufacturer’s website. The camera has a minimum illumination of 0Lux when IR is on and 0.05Lux@F1.2 when AGC is on. It has an IP66 rating, operates in a temperature range of 0°C to 50°C, and weighs around 0.7-lb (340g) to 1-lb, 6-oz (760g) depending on the model.

Overview

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• Do not cut DC jack or BNC connector jack as warranty will be voided.
• Do not open camera case, no serviceable parts.

Zoom & Focus Adjustment

To adjust the Zoom and Focus, open the Zoom/Focus compartment located on the bottom of the camera. Once within the compartment, use a flathead screwdriver to loosen the Zoom and Focus screws to allow for adjustment.

• Focus To focus in on close objects, push the focus screw right towards “N”. To focus out on far objects, push the screw right towards “F”.
• Zoom To zoom in, push the zoom screw left towards “T”. To zoom out, push the screw right towards “W”.

Set Format via the DIP Switch

To set the Format via the DIP switch, move the DIP switches to the following combinations:

Camera Angle and Positioning
To adjust the camera angle and positioning, loosen the camera angle adjustment screw and mounting arm adjustment screw. Rotate the camera and position the mounting arm in the desired position and retighten the screws .

Before Starting

1. Use the camera within the given temperature and voltage limits.
2. Do not point the camera at the sun. Heat could damage the camera, even when not in use.
3. Do not subject the camera to strong vibrations.
4. Do not mount the camera in areas exposed to radiation, strong magnetic fields, or strong electrical signals.

Note: A 12VDC power supply wire and a video cable with a male BNC connector need to be run to the wall or ceiling where the camera is to be mounted. Temporarily connect the camera to the 12VDC power supply.

INSTALLATION

1. Run a 12VDC power supply wire and a video cable with a male BNC connector to the wall or ceiling where the camera is to be mounted
2. Temporarily connect the camera to the 12VDC power supply.
3. Temporarily connect the camera’s female BNC connector to the video cable’s male BNC connector.
4. While watching the monitor, hold the camera against the wall or ceiling by hand where it is to be mounted, then turn the camera until it is certain that this mounting location is correct.
5. Adjust the zoom and focus to desired settings. See “Zoom and Focus Adjustment” (EV-Y1501-AMWQ only).
6. Use the DIP Switches to adjust camera output format.
7. Use a pencil and the included mounting template sticker to mark the mounting location. Disconnect the 12VDC power supply and video cable.
8. Mount the camera mounting base to the wall using the included mounting screws.
9. Reconnect the 12VDC power supply and video cable.
10. . Turn the monitor on and confirm the camera is sending the proper video signal.
11. Adjust the camera to the desired angle and position.
12. Do a final test of the video camera and monitor.
