FLOS S2-S3 Y Almendra Pendant Light
Product Information
The Almendra light fixture comes in two versions, S2 and S3, with the design by Patricia Urquiola from 2022. It is available in several languages: Spanish (ES), Portuguese (PT), Russian (RUS), Japanese (J), English (E), Chinese (CN), and Saudi Arabian (SA). The S2 version has a 32W LED, and the S3 version has a 48W LED. The S2 version also has a 30W LED option, while the S3 version has a 45W LED option. The light fixture is made by FLOS.
Product Usage Instructions
To assemble the light fixture, follow the sequence shown in Fig.1E – 2E – 3 – 4 – 5E – 6 -7 – 8 – 9 – 10 – 11 – 12E for the S2 Y EUR and S3 Y EUR versions. For the S2 Y USA and S3 Y USA versions, follow the sequence shown in Fig.1U – 3 – 4 – 5U – 6 -7 – 8 – 9 – 10 – 11 – 12U. The assembly instructions for the S2 Y KC version are Fig.1E – 2E – 3 – 4 – 5E – 6 -7 – 8 – 11 – 12E, and for the S3 Y KC version, they are Fig.1U – 3 – 4 – 5U – 6 -7 – 8 – 11 – 12U.
When mounting the light fixture, choose screw anchors that are suitable for the surface it will be installed on. Refer to Pic.1E/1U for specific instructions in Italian, English, German, Russian, Japanese, Chinese, and Saudi Arabian. The S2 Y version has the option for a 0-10V or 1-10V push dimmer, while the S3 Y version has a DALI dimmer. Both versions have a black line and require a terminal joint for installation. Refer to Fig. 2E for the S2 Y version, and Fig. 3 for the S3 Y version, to connect the black line to black (L), white to white (N), and green to earth (GND). For the S2 Y version, Fig. 5E shows the wiring sequence as black line, negative (-), positive (+), and one (1). For the S3 Y version, Fig. 5U shows the wiring sequence as black line, positive (+), D+, D-, and one (1). Fig. 6 shows the terminal joint for both versions. The options for the light fixture are shown in Fig. 4, with the wiring sequence for the S2 Y version as black to black, white to white, and green to earth. The options for the S3 Y version are not specified. Fig. 7 shows additional options for the light fixture. Refer to Fig. 8 for the S2 Y version and Fig. 9 for the S3 Y version for specific installation instructions. Fig. 10 is only applicable to the S2 Y version. Finally, refer to Fig. 11 and Fig. 12E for the S2 Y EUR and S3 Y EUR versions respectively, and Fig. 12U for the S2 Y USA and S3 Y USA versions respectively.
