Preliminary steps
The tools required for installation but not included are:

WARNING: Risk of electrical
shock
Disconnect power at the fuse or circuit breaker before installing. Verify that
the supply voltage is correct. Connect xture to a AC100V-240V 50/60Hz power
source.
Properly connect the fixture.
- Always follow code standards when installing wired connections.
- If you are not familiar with hardwired electrical connections, installation and wiring should be performed by a licensed electrician.
CAUTION: Risk of fire
Do not install near combustible or fiammable surfaces.
Risk of electric shock
Do not use where directly exposed to water.
NOTICE
- Do not connect this fixture to a traditional dimmer switch or timer.
- The downlight must be installed on a steady and dry area
1. Shut power off at the breaker
Find the breaker that controls the circuit for your downlight. Turn it off
before you continue with the installation.
2.Determine the location

Next, trace the hole size or mark the center in the chosen

Before doing anything else, use the voltage tester to make sure the power is off.

Connect the Line and Neutral power leads with the matching box wires. See wiring diagram
North American color code standard: black and white
Europe/Australia color code standard: blue and brown -
Secure the wires with the wire nuts by turning them clockwise. Gently pull the wires to test the connection.

Once the wires are securely connected, place the wires and junction in the ceiling through the hole

Then connect the light and the junction box by locking both connectors together.

. Hold on the spring clips against the fixture and gently guide it into the ceiling, until the clips snap firmly into place.

After the fixture is installed, restore the power at the breaker to make sure everything is working correctly
Installing the Nexxt Home App
Download the Nexxt Home app on Google Play Store or Apple App Store
Step 1
Register by email. Fill in the required fields
Step 2
Enter the verification code you received.
Step 3
Create a new password and then select Completed.
Step 4
The Nexxt Home account has been successfully configured.
Connection
Once the Nexxt Smart downlight is installed, open your
Nexxt Home application and follow the steps described below
Add device
Step 1
Select Add device. If the device is not recognized automatically, select
the Smart downlight icon from the list of devices, and then tap
Go to add.
Step 2
** Verify that the smart downlight is powered on. You must connect to a
2.4GHz
Wi-Fi network**. Enter your network password. Ensure to use the correct
password, otherwise the device will not connect.
Step 3
Make sure the light is blinking. If it fails to blink, reset the downlight.
To do so, turn the light on and off six consecutive times from the switch,
until it begins to blink. Next, tap on Confirm the light blinks rapidly
Step 4
Once the downlight is detected by the application, the notification Device added successfully will be displayed. Click on Next to continue.
Step 5
Make sure the light is blinking. If it fails to blink, reset the downlight.
To do so, turn the light on and off six consecutive times from the switch,
until it begins to blink. Next, tap on Conrm the light blinks rapidly
Main interface
Power button: Turns the light on and off.
White: Changes the brightness and white color temperature.
Timer setup
The timer functio n, located in the bottom left corner of the screen, allows users to set a countdown for a given amount of time to cause the device to tun on or off.
Scene configuration
It allows users to program specific times and dates for the device to turn on
or off.
Select Schedule to access the Add schedule screen. Set the time you
wish to program. Select Repeat to determine the frequency of the event.
Click on the toggle button below to choose between the On/Off status.
Click on Save on the upper right-hand corner when done.
Delete setup
To remove a schedule on iOS, slide item to the left, and for Android, press and hold Schedule , followed by Delete.
Power-on memory
Do Not Disturb:
Enable the do-not-disturb feature and then turn off your light using the
mobile app before you go to bed.
Once power is restored, one of the three power-on states below can be selected
by the user:
Initial mode: restores the color and brightness to their default
settings.
Restore memory: reverts to the color and brightness settings used last.
Customized: the light will light up based on the specific color and
brightness the user has selected.
Settings
Device information: displays detailed information related to the
downlight.
Device name: changes the icon and the name of the device, and it also
allows the user to assign a different location. Note: click on the pencil icon
to access the device name menu.
Tap-To-Run and Automation: links the Wi-Fi downlight with other smart
products to automatically control them through a customized command.
Third-party control: enables the voice recognition feature through Alexa
and Google Assistant.
Share device: allows sharing the Wi-Fi downlight with family and friends.
Create group: makes management of devices easier by selecting and
arranging multiple components under a single group.
Feedback: let us know if you have any issues setting up the product.
Location information: allows access to the device’s location, which is
used used for action or scene segmentation within the home.
Add home screen: adds a shortcut of the device to the main screen on your
phone.
Device update: we will sometimes add new features or provide updates with
a new firmware upgrade.
Remove device: allows you to unbind the device from the Nexxt Home
Account.
