Installation Guide

The installation guide provides step-by-step instructions for the installation of the Ambient Air Vents RGB LED Kit. The guide includes a link to an installation video and details the tools needed for installation. The installation process is demonstrated on a 2019 Kia Stinger GT1.

Product Usage Instructions

Step #1: Remove the interior dash trim pieces

1. Start with the passenger side first.
2. Pull upwards to protect your tabs.
3. Remove all screws and keep them in a pile for later.

Step #2: Remove the factory vents

1. Take out the screws holding the factory vents in place.

Step #3: Use a Dremel to shave off the bottom lip of the new middle air vent

Step #4: Set up wiring
You can either run the wiring to a fuse or tap into the ambient lighting in your dash. For this installation, it is recommended to tap into the dash. Please note: It is a good idea to pull the fuse for your ambient lights before tapping in.

Step #5: Glue the new air vents to the dashboard
After you have set up your wiring and made sure the lights work as well as the Bluetooth, you can then glue your new air vents to the dashboard. For this step, you may use plastiweld or super glue. It is important to make sure that no glue seeps out to the front of the dashboard in this process. You also want to make sure everything is aligned perfectly before gluing your vents.

Step #6: Reassemble the dashboard
After the glue settles, put your dashboard back on, insert the screws and the trim pieces, and then you are completed with your installation.
