DN200
2-Channel Active DI Box with Extended Dynamic Range and Sum/Split Options
Controls
-
STEREO INPUT – Connect a line-level audio source via stereo 1/8″ TRS cable. Ensure that the L/R INPUTS and LINK THRU jacks are disconnected when using the STEREO INPUT jack.
-
PAD – Press to reduce the input signal by 20 dB for use with hot signals.
-
EARTH – Press to separate the input and output grounds, potentially eliminating earth/ground loops between equipment on different mains supplies.
-
L/R INPUT – Connect either balanced or unbalanced XLR or 1/4″ cables. Ensure that the 1/8″ STEREO INPUT jack is disconnected when using these inputs.
-
48 V LED – Lights when the unit receives sufficient phantom power. Note that the DN200 must be powered to operate correctly.
Important: Although the DN200 will function as a mono device when only one channel is connected, both channels should be powered to use stereo, split, or sum modes. -
SUM – When engaged, the left and right inputs are summed and fed to the left and right outputs. Note that phantom power must be delivered to both output connections for dual-output operation.
-
SPLIT – When engaged, the left input is fed to the left and right outputs. Note that phantom power must be delivered to both output connections for dual-output operation.
-
L/R OUTPUT – Send the signals to a mixer or recording interface via balanced XLR cables. Note that the connected device must be able to provide +48 V phantom power to these connectors.
-
LINK THRU – Send the signals to an alternate source via balanced or unbalanced 1/4″ cables. Ensure that the 1/8″ STEREO INPUT jack is disconnected when using these outputs.
