INDOOR CAMERA
USER GUIDE
APP SETUP
To complete the setup, you will need a mobile phone, a 2.4 GHz
Wi-Fi connection, and the password for your home Wi-Fi network.
To add the Indoor Camera to your system, follow the steps below:

Bring your camera near your router and connect the power adapter. Plug the adapter into an outlet that cannot be turned ON/OFF.
You can move the Indoor Camera to its final location once the app setup is complete. -
Wait 2-3 minutes for the LED to start flashing white.

Log into the Frontpoint app on your mobile phone:
• Tap the menu icon ( ) to open the navigation menu.
• Tap “Add Device”.
• Select “Video Camera”.
• Tap “ADC-V515”.
• Follow the on-screen prompts until the installation is complete. -
Once the installation is complete, verify the camera is generating a video feed by navigating to the “Video” section and ensuring your new camera is listed.

You can now move the Indoor Camera to the desired location.
Extra Tips For App Setup

During the app setup, you will be asked to temporarily connect to a network name that resembles ADC-V515 (XX:XX:XX).
The X’s are indicative of the device’s unique MAC address and will vary. -
The LED lights on the camera will change during installation.
When the LED is solid green, it has successfully connected to the Wi-Fi network. -
If firmware updates are available, the installation may take up to 15 minutes.
USAGE GUIDE
After positioning the camera, you’re ready to use it! Access live video and
saved clips, Two-Way Audio, and adjust the Video Analytics configuration right
from the Frontpoint mobile app.
LIVE AND SAVED VIDEO
- Navigate to the “Video” section.
A. In the “Live” menu, tap the play button in the video window to view live video.
B. In the “Saved” menu, tap a video clip to review your recordings.
TWO-WAY AUDIO
- Open your camera’s live video window in full screen.
1. Tap the play button ( ).
2. Select the full-screen icon ( ).
A. To speak through the camera, press and hold the microphone button. Release the button to listen.
B. Mute or unmute incoming audio by toggling the peaker button ( or ).
VIDEO ANALYTICS
While Video Analytics rules are encouraged to be created during the initial
setup, they can be set up or modified at any time. To create Video Analytics
rules, follow the steps below:
- Navigate to the “Video” section.
- Tap the gear in the upper right corner ( ).
- Select “Recording Rules”.
- Tap “Add” in the top right corner.
- Tap “Video Analytics” in the New Video Rule menu.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
SD CARD CONTINUOUS RECORDING
With the use of a compatible micro-SD card (not included), your new Frontpoint
camera enables you to watch 24/7 video footage from up to 29 days in the past-
straight from the mobile app!
Supplementing Video Analytics- which records snippets of video footage based
on intelligent activity detection, you can search footage based on an event,
date, or time.

LED REFERENCE GUIDE
Mode | Description | LED Behavior |
---|
Internet
Connection| The camera is connected to Wi-Fi.| Solid Green
No Internet Connection| The camera is not connected to Wi-Fi.| Solid Red
Boot Up| The camera is powering on.| Flashing Red
Wi-Fi Pairing| The camera is in Wi-Fi pairing mode.
To enter this mode, press and hold the button on the back of the camera until
the LED is flashing white.| Flashing White
Factory Reset| The camera is resetting to factory default.
To enter this mode, press and hold the button on the back of the camera until
the LED is alternating between red and green.| Flashing Red & Green
WARNING: A factory reset will restore factory-default settings to the
camera.
If already installed, the camera may need to be removed from your Frontpoint
system and re-added through the App Setup after the reset.
TROUBLESHOOTING
- If you are having issues connecting the camera to the system, power cycle the camera. Simply unplug the power jack from the camera and then plug it back in to restore power.
- If issues persist, you will need to reset the camera to factory default, see page 6 for factory reset information.

- If you are uncertain of your Wi-Fi network name or password and your router has WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) compatibility, you can connect the camera to your network using WPS. To access alternative setup instructions, please scan the code to the right.
