The NEXX device is a gate opener that allows you to control your gate from your smartphone or other mobile device. The device connects to your gate operator and allows you to remotely open or close your gate.

Usage Instructions
- Before installation, make sure you have all the necessary parts and tools.
- Follow the set up and installation instructions in the user manual.
- Connect the NEXX device to your gate operator following the instructions provided.
- Once the device is connected, download and install the NEXX app on your smartphone or mobile device.
- Follow the app’s instructions to connect to the NEXX device.
- You can now use the app to remotely open and close your gate.

- Make sure you have the customer’s Wi-Fi network and password before starting.

WHAT COMES IN THE BOX
SET UP AND INSTALLATION
- Make sure you are close to the router and have a strong Wi-Fi signal for the device to work properly.
- Install the NEXX HOME mobile app on the end user’s phone. QR code to download the app can be found in the manual included in the box.
- Open the NEXX HOME app and create an account.
- Connect power supply to the NEXX device.
- Once you have a steady ORANGE ACTIVITY light, log in to the NEXX HOME app and tap the “+” button on the top right of the screen to add a device.
- Follow the prompts on the screen to configure the account and complete the set-up process.
CONNECTING THE NEXX DEVICE TO THE GATE OPERATOR
- You will need to identify which limit switch is the close limit. The “Door Sensor” wires will connect to these terminals on the board.
- Connect the provided wire harnesses to the “Opener” (RADIO and COMMON) and “Door Sensor” (CLOSE LIMIT and COMMON) ports on the back of the device. Please note polarity does matter when connecting the wires to the board.
- You will find a sticker identifying which wire from the device connects to what terminal on the operator circuit board. Please see pictures below.
