The TFA No. 30.5056 is a digital thermo-hygrometer designed for humidors. It measures temperature and humidity and displays them on a clear LCD display. The device comes with a calibration function to ensure accurate readings, and it has a range of mounting options for flexible installation.

Product Usage Instructions
- Before you use this product: Ensure you have read the instruction manual and understand the product features and specifications.

- Elements: The device consists of an LCD display, buttons, housing, and fixing materials including a battery compartment, mounting ring, magnets, and holder with self-adhesive pads.
- Getting started/Operation: Insert the included CR2032 battery into the battery compartment with the +pole above. The device will automatically turn on and measure temperature and humidity. Use the SET and UP/DOWN buttons to adjust settings for calibration, and to view the minimum and maximum values recorded.
- Calibration function: To calibrate the device, place it in a stable environment with a known temperature and humidity. Press and hold the SET button until the display shows the calibration symbol. Use the UP/DOWN buttons to adjust the displayed value to match the known value. Press SET again to save the new calibration value.
- Attachment: The device can be attached to various surfaces using the included magnets or mounting ring. For installation on glass surfaces, use the holder with self-adhesive pads.
- Battery replacement: If the device displays low battery or fails to turn on, replace the battery with a new CR2032 battery.
- Troubleshooting: If the device does not turn on or displays incorrect values, ensure that the battery is inserted correctly and replace it if necessary. If the issue persists, contact the retailer for further assistance.

WARNING
- Keep this device and the battery out of reach of children.
- Small parts can be swallowed by children (under three years old).
- Batteries contain harmful acids and may be hazardous if swallowed. If a battery is swallowed, this can lead to serious internal burns and death within two hours. If you suspect a battery could have been swallowed or otherwise caught in the body, seek medical help immediately.
- Batteries must not be thrown into a fire, short-circuited, taken apart or recharged. Risk of explosion!
- Low batteries should be changed as soon as possible to prevent damage caused by leaking. Remove the battery if you do not use the device for a long period of time. Make sure the polarities are correct.
- Avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes when handling leaking batteries. In case of contact, immediately rinse the affected areas with water and consult a doctor.
CAUTION
- Unauthorized repairs, alterations or changes to the product are prohibited.
- Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, vibrations or shocks.
- Clean the device with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or scouring agents.

Getting Started/Operation
- Remove the protective film. Open the battery compartment at the back and remove the battery insulation strip. Close the battery compartment. The device is ready for use.
- All LCD segments will be displayed for a short moment. The humidity in large format and the temperature appear on the display as well as a smiley to indicate the humidity comfort level for storing cigars (Fig. 3).
- Press the UP/DOWN button and MAX and the highest temperature and humidity is displayed since the last reset. Press UP/DOWN button again to show the minimum (MIN) values.
- Press the SET button while the maximum or minimum values are displayed to reset the values.
- Press the UP or DOWN button again to return to normal mode or wait 20 seconds.
- Remove the battery to turn off the instrument.
Calibration function
- The thermo-hygrometer allows the user to calibrate the display of humidity measurement with an external, better reference source. The user can make an adjustment to the humidity display (offset).
- Press and hold the SET button in normal mode for 5 seconds.
- The gear symbol flashes and “0” (default setting, without offset) flashes on the lower display.
- The current humidity display remains on the display.
- Press the UP or DOWN button to correct the humidity display (offset ±9% in steps of 1%). The display changes accordingly.
- Press the SET button briefly to confirm the setting or wait 20 seconds, the device will save the setting automatically. The gear symbol appears permanently in the display when an offset has been set.
- Now you can use the device again as usual.
- Changing the battery resets any calibration that may have been set and the device works again with the factory’s calibration.
Attachment
- On metal surfaces: Use the two magnets at the back of the instrument for placement on metal surfaces.
- Build-in: Insert the device into a suitable housing (Installation dimensions Ø 44 mm). Please make sure that it is possible to change the battery.
- Behind glass (humidor): Place the device in the holder. Attach the holder to the inside of the glass pane with the four self-adhesive pads. Please clean the glass before. You can read the measured values from the outside easily.
Battery replacement
- Change the battery when the device functions become weak.
- Open the battery compartment and insert a new battery CR2032 (+pole above). Close the battery compartment.
Troubleshooting
Problem/ Solution
- No indication/ incorrect indication: Ensure that the battery polarity is correct (+pole above)

Waste disposal
This product and its packaging have been manufactured using high-grade materials and components which can be recycled and reused. This reduces waste and protects the environment. Dispose of the packaging in an environmentally friendly manner using the collection systems that have been set up.
Disposal of the electrical device
Remove non-permanently installed batteries and rechargeable batteries from the device and dispose of them separately. This product is labeled in accordance with the EU Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE). This product must not be disposed of in the ordinary household waste. As a consumer, you are required to take end-of-life devices to a designated collection point for the disposal of electrical and electronic equipment, in order to ensure environmentally-compatible disposal. The return service is free of charge. Observe the current regulations in place!
Disposal of the batteries
Never dispose of empty batteries and rechargeable batteries with ordinary household waste. They contain pollutants such as heavy metals, which can be harmful to the environment and human health if disposed of improperly, and valuable raw materials such as iron, zinc, manganese or nickel that can be recovered from waste. As a consumer, you are required by law to take them to your retail store or to an appropriate collection site depending on national or local regulations in order to protect the environment. The return service is free of charge. You can obtain addresses of suitable collection points from your city council or local authority.
The symbols for the contained heavy metals are: Cd-cadmium, Hg=mercury, and Pb=lead.
