Introduction
The i-box Slumber combines a traditional bedside alarm clock radio with Bluetooth and a wireless charging pad in a neat stylish solution. Rest your phone on top to charge it while you are sleeping
Caring for your Alarm Clock
Safety Information
- Important – Please read these instructions fully before installing or operating your alarm clock.
- Keep away from flame sources such as lighted candles.
- Do not expose to dripping or splashed fluids. Objects filled with liquids, such as vases, must not be placed close to the alarm clock.
- The unit should not be exposed to direct sunlight, very high or low temperature, moisture, vibrations, strong magnetic fields, high frequencies and dusty environments.
- Do not place the product in enclosed bookcases or racks without proper ventilation. Ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings with items, such as newspapers, table-cloths, curtains, etc.
- Never attempt to insert wires, pins or other such objects into the vents or openings of the unit.
- Do not disassemble or modify the alarm clock, there are no user serviceable parts.
- If the alarm clock is damaged in anyway or malfunctions do not use. Consult a qualified service engineer.
- Do not use abrasives, thinner or other solvents to clean the surface of the unit. To clean, wipe with clean soft cloth and a mild detergent solution.
- This product contains a Lithium coin cell battery, keep the battery away from children. The battery could be harmful if swallowed. Seek immediate medical advice if you believe a battery has been swallowed.
- Do not dispose of this product with household waste at the end of its life cycle; take it to a designated collection centre for the recycling of electrical and electronic appliances with batteries. Please check with your Local Authority for recycling advice.

Powering your Radio Alarm Clock
- To power, the i-box Slumber radio alarm clock, plug the power adaptor (supplied) into a wall socket and the jack plug into the DC in port on the back of the Slumber (14).
Battery Backup Installation
- 1 x CR-2032 battery is installed in the battery compartment (11) to provide a backup power supply.
- If the mains supply is disconnected or interrupted this backup power supply ensures that the time and alarm settings are saved but does not power any other functions (e.g. Radio or display).
- Remove the plastic tab as shown opposite to activate the battery.
Setting the Clock
- In some regions, the time will auto-set once the Slumber receives an FM signal, in other regions you will need to set it manually.
- Long press the key (3), to start setting the time.
Select the Time Display Format – 24-hour clock (military time) or 12 hours (AM/PM)
Set the Alarms
Long press the Alarm key (2) to enter the Alarm set Mode. You can set two
independent alarms
Activating and Deactivating Alarms
Short press the Alann key (2) to cycle through the options of activating
either, both, or none of the alarms.
Alarm Snooze/Stop
Standby and Audio Mode Select
To enter standby mode, long press the Standby/ Mode select key (10). To enter
playback mode, short press the Standby/ Mode select key (10). Short press the
Standby/ Mode select key (10) to cycle between FM Radio and Bluetooth Mode.
FM Radio Mode
Short press the Standby/ Mode select key (10) to enter FM radio mode, the
display will show ‘FM’ and then will display the frequency of the radio
station.
Wireless Connection Mode
The Slumber has a Wireless playback mode, press the Standby/ Mode Select key
(10) to enter Wireless mode, if no device is connected, the Slumber will
automatically enter pairing mode
Pairing with Bluetooth-Enabled Devices
To connect a compatible Bluetooth device, follow the steps below. When pairing
is successful you will hear a dual chime.
You don’t need to pair again in the future. Your radio alarm will
automatically reconnect with this device when it is in range and both are
turned on.
Wireless Charging
If your phone has Qi wireless charging capability you can use the charging
panel on the top of the Slumber to charge it.
Please Note: Wireless charging is likely to interfere with radio
reception therefore we advise you not to try listening to FM radio during
charging.
- Centre your smartphone on the cross in the middle of the charging panel (1).
- The (C<•>>) wireless charging icon will be displayed in the bottom right corner of the LCD panel while your phone is charging and the battery charge status can be seen on your phone’s display.
Please Note: Your phone will not charge when the Slumber is in backup mode (not being powered by the power adapter).
USB Power Output
You can also charge a phone or other device via the USB charging port (13)
(cable not included).
Screen Dimmer
To adjust the brightness of the display short press the Sleep/Dimmer key (6)
and cycle through the screen display brightness settings. There are 6
brightness levels to choose from.
Sleep Timer Mode
In one of the audio modes (bt or FM), a sleep timer can be set to
automatically put the device into standby mode after a selected time. Long
press the Snooze key (6) then choose from 120, 90, 60, 45, 30, 15, 10, 5
minutes, and Off, using the Left/ Right keys (7/9).
SLP’ will appear under the time on the display, indicating that the sleep
timer is active. To see how long is left on the timer, long press the snooze
key (6).
To deactivate the sleep timer, long-press the snooze key (6) and use the Left
or Right keys or (7/9) until OFF is displayed.
