Remove all protective materials from the product.
Note: Do not turn on the product yet.
Fill ink tanks
Warning: Keep the ink bottles out of the reach of children and do not
drink the ink.
Caution: This product requires careful handling of ink. If ink spills,
wipe it off immediately with a damp towel to avoid permanent stains. If ink
gets on your clothes or belongings, it may not come off.
Note:
- Epson cannot guarantee the quality or reliability of non-genuine ink.
- Use the ink bottles included with the printer to set up the product. Part of the ink will be used to charge the print head. These bottles may print fewer pages compared with replacement ink bottles.
-
Open the ink tank cover and the cap for the black ink tank.
Note: Refer to the color-coded sticker on the ink tank unit to identify the color of each tank. -
Unpack the black (BK) ink bottle. Hold the ink bottle upright and slowly turn the bottle cap to remove it.
Caution: Do not shake or squeeze the ink bottle. Do not touch the top of the ink bottle after its cap is removed. -
Place the top of the ink bottle on the filling port, then slowly stand the bottle upright to insert it, as shown.
Note: Do not force the bottles into position; they are keyed for each color. -
Wait for the ink to fill the tank. Do not squeeze the bottle.
Note: Ink flows into the tank and stops automatically when the ink tank is filled to the upper line. If ink does not flow from the bottle, lift and reinsert the bottle.
-
When the ink tank is full, remove the ink bottle and securely close it with the bottle cap.
Note: Do not leave the ink bottle inserted; otherwise the bottle may be damaged or ink may leak. If any ink remains in the bottle, store the bottle upright and top off the ink tank after completing initial setup. -
Close the black ink tank cap.
-
Repeat the previous steps for the other colors.
Caution: After setup, periodically inspect the ink levels to ensure they do not fall below the lower lines. Prolonged use when any level is lower than the line could damage the product. See the online User’s Guide for refilling instructions. -
Close the ink tank cover.

FAQs
What is the difference between a genuine Epson ink cartridge and a non- genuine ink cartridge?****
Non-genuine ink cartridges are not produced by Epson. They may have different performance and reliability than genuine Epson ink cartridges.
What is a print head?****
The print head is a component inside the printer that sprays ink onto paper. It is made up of many nozzles that spray ink onto paper.
What is a nozzle check pattern?****
A nozzle check pattern is a test page that you can print to check if nozzles are clogged or to replace an ink cartridge.
How do I clean a clogged nozzle?****
You can clean a clogged nozzle by performing a nozzle check or cleaning the print head. See “Cleaning the print head” on page 15 for more information about how to clean the print head.
How do I perform a nozzle check?****
See “Printing a nozzle check pattern” on page 14 for more information about how to perform a nozzle check.
How long does ink last in Supertank printer?****
The Expression ET-2750 EcoTank wireless all-in-one offers revolutionary cartridge-free printing with easy-to-fill, supersized ink tanks. It includes up to 2 years of ink in the box1.
How does a Supertank printer work?****
Supertank printers differ from traditional inkjet printers in that the printhead is connected via a tube system that draws ink from high-capacity ink tanks, which are filled and refilled via high-capacity ink bottles, eliminating the need for ink cartridges.
Do supertank printers dry out?****
The EcoTank is still an inkjet printer so it’s still susceptible to ink drying up leading to clogged tubes or cartridge nozzles.
What are the benefits of an all-in-one printer?****
An all-in-one printer is designed to support today’s trend toward wireless networks and increased mobile connectivity. This means you can perform multiple tasks from your tablet, smartphone, or laptop. You can print from the cloud, and utilize the scanning function to scan, share, and store files.
Are supertank printers better?****
Some supertank printers have printing yields that are significantly higher than the ones I tested. Yes, supertank printers cost more than a standard inkjet printer upfront, but for most users, it won’t take long to recoup that initial expenditure compared to paying for ink cartridges.
Is EcoTank ink waterproof?****
Epson’s new EcoTank pigment ink, DURABrite ET INK, delivers prints that are sharp, clear, and water-resistant, even in barcode mode.
Do supertank printers clog?****
The only thing to be aware of is that you’ll need to print fairly regularly (probably at least monthly, but check the user guide to be sure) to make sure the printer doesn’t dry out. If it’s not used regularly, it’s possible that the print heads could dry out or clog
