SAFETY WARNINGS
Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep the instructions including the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must never play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must never be carried out by children without supervision.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Keep the appliance out of the reach of children less than 8 years old.
- WARNING: In order to ensure your children‘s safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.
- Do not use the unit if it is not working properly.
- Do not handle the appliance with wet hands.
- Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
- Make sure the appliance has been unplugged before cleaning.
- This appliance must be installed following the national regulations for electrical installations.
- This appliance is for household use only.
User Manual:
Insert the battery correctly. 2 x 1.5V AAA (included)
- Step 1. Press the platform center and remove your foot.
- Step 2. “0.0” will be displayed
- Step 3. The scale will switch off and now it is ready for use. This initialization process must be repeated if the scale is moved. At all other times step straight on the scale.
- Step 4. Gently step on the scale. Put your feet evenly on the scale without moving and wait whilst the scale computes weight. Your correct weight will then be displayed in the following way.
When you step off the scale, it will automatically switch off. ( If no weighting is carried out while the zero is being displayed, the scale will automatically switch off after approximately 10 seconds).
Note:
If you step on the scale before it shows “0.0”, the scale would not show the
correct weight of your body. The scale does not work under 5KG. After showing
the result 10 seconds, the scale turns off automatically.
Using Notice
- LCD shows “Err” for Overload.
- LCD shows “Lo” for Low power.
- This scale is just for home use.
- The scale cannot dip in the water. Please use a damp cloth to clean the glass.
- If the scale would not be used in a long period, please take the battery out, and make sure there is nothing on the scale.
- To avoid any danger, please make sure you stand at the center of the scale.
- To avoid slipping, please do not step on the scale when your feet are wet.
- Do not dispose of batteries in a fire. Batteries may explode or leak. Recycle or manage as hazardous waste.
Disposal of old electrical appliances
The European directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), requires that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of in the normal unsorted municipal waste stream. Old appliances must be collected separately in order to optimize the recovery and recycling of the materials they contain and reduce the impact on human health and the environment. The crossed-out “wheeled bin” symbol on the product reminds you of your obligation, that when you dispose of the appliance, it must be separately collected.
CERTIFICATE OF GUARANTEE
We hereby certify that the equipment stated in this Guarantee Card has gone through strict quality control checks and bears a full Guarantee of 24 months, which shall come in force from the date of purchase.
During the 24-month guarantee period, the present certificate covers repairs, workmanship, and spare parts for all manufacturing defects, however, this guarantee does not cover those defects that have been caused due to the following: defects of installation, blows, bad use, breakage of plastic parts and external causes not related to the equipment. This guarantee does not include installation and maintenance.
This certificate of guarantee is canceled on those accessories and components which are worn due to continuous use. Those which are perishable, such as plastic components, glass, lamps, filters, rubber or enamelwork which get worn due to wrongful use or reaction to outside agents such as heating, wáter or chemical products. The present certificate of guarantee shall be nullified if the equipment is handled by any unauthorized personnel.
Customer’s rights:
The seller should be responsible for the customer in the event of lack of
conformity when the product is purchased. It is recognized the right of the
customer to get the product repaired, substituted, decreased its price or
resolution of the contract.
The present certificate is only valid if it is accompanied by the receipt or invoice of purchase.
