UNIT DESCRIPTION

Sanitization system and controller for swimming pools.
Sanitization: Chlorine is produced by electrolysis of salt water, using salt water of low salinity.
Production of sodium hypochlorite in the electrolysis cell is achieved with a minimum of 3g salt per litre. The chlorine combats and eliminates bacteria, viruses and pathogenic agents, and oxidizes organic matter present in the water. The used sodium hypochlorite reconverts into salt after a few hours.

“Do It Yourself” equipment:
The cell connects to the outside outside of the electronic box, with no need to open the cover. The cell cable is 1.5m long.
The electronic box can be mounted on the wall without being opened.

Visual information:
The current disinfection status is shown by the colour of the box (blue, green, purple, yellow, orange).

ELECTRONIC BOX

A Supply 230 V – 50 Hz
B Cell connection
C ON/OFF switch + buttons

CELL

A Electrolysis cell
B Connection to unit
C Cell housing
D Flow/gas detector (internal)

UNIT INSTALLATION

Electricity consumption
Use of a 16 A time delay circuit breaker is recommended with this equipment. Where the power supply is shared with other devices, please consult a technician for correct sizing of your installation.
UNIT INSTALLATION

Product Maximum consumption g Cl2/h
8 Gr/h 80 W 8
16 Gr/h 130 W 16
22 Gr/h 145 W 22
33 Gr/h 165 W 33
  • A Filtration pump timer
  • B Silex / glass / diatom filter
  • C Recirculation pump
  • 1 Electronic box
  • 2 Electrolysis cell (always vertical)

WALL-MOUNTING THE EQUIPMENT

WALL-MOUNTING THE EQUIPMENT

  • Step 1: Without opening the unit cover, screw the 4 suspension eyes to the box from behind.
  • Step 2: Mark the positions of the 4 eyes using the drilling template.
  • Step 3: Drill and insert the 4 rawlplugs into the wall.
  • Step 4: Screw in the 4 wall screws and hang up the unit.

ASSEMBLY AND CONNECTION OF THE CELL

ASSEMBLY AND CONNECTION OF THE CELL

  • Step 1: Install the cell in a vertical position.
  • Step 2: Install the cell on by-pass.
  • Step 3: Install the cell at the highest point of the installations.
  • Step 4: Connect the cell and the gas detector to the electronic box.
  • N.B.: If the unit is being installed for a pool that has already been treated with chlorine, we recommend total renewal of all water in the pool so that the cyanuric acid (chlorine stabiliser) does not distort measurements made by the rX (redox) probe.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS TO ELECTRONIC BOX

ELECTROLYSIS (from 3 g salt/L)

During normal operation, the LEDs light up blue.
The equipment has 5 production levels, with each level featuring 2 LEDs.
Adjust the production, in grams of chlorine/hour, using the buttons ‘+’ and ‘-’.
The levels increase in increments of 20%.
ELECTROLYSIS
Example : For a 22 Gr Cl2/h unit:

Selected level(s) % of production g Cl2/h
1 20 % 4.4 g Cl2/h
3 60 % 13.2 g Cl2/h
5 100 % 22 g Cl2/h

CHLORINATION BOOST MENU

CHLORINATION BOOST MENU

  1. Press and hold the ‘+’ button for 3 seconds to enter the menu dedicated to chlorination boost.
  2. The LEDs light up green.
  3. Adjust the boost production using the buttons ‘+’ and ‘-’.

From this moment on, production will be maintained for 24h as long as water is flowing through the unit.
After this time period, the unit will return to its previous production situation.

‘LOW’ ALERT

‘LOW’ ALERT

If the LEDs light up yellow, the unit has not reached the desired production.
This may be due to various factors:
– Lack of salt.
– Scaled-up cell.
– Exhausted cell.
– Low water temperature.
Blue LEDs show the configured production and yellow LEDs show the actual production.

WATER FLOW ALARM

If the 3 LEDs in the centre are flashing orange, the unit is not producing.
This means that there is no water flow inside the installation. Check
– Flow switches,
– Configuration (see section 11),
– For correct flow.

REDUCING PRODUCTION USING THE COVER

  1. Connect the cover to the box (see section 5).
  2. Press and hold the ‘-’ button for 3 seconds to enter the menu dedicated to reduction of production.
  3. The LEDs light up purple.
  4. Adjust to the desired production using the buttons ‘+’ and ‘-’.
  5. The reduction is applied to the production already configured.
  6. Save the configuration by pressing the ‘+’ button until you return to the previous menu.

When the cover contact is closed, the LEDs will automatically light up purple and production will be limited to the programmed setpoint.

SELECTING THE FLOW SWITCH

  1. Connect the mechanical flow switch to the box (see section 5).

  2. Press the ‘-’ and ‘+’ buttons simultaneously and hold for 3 seconds to enter the menu.

  3. Select the position using the buttons ‘+’ and ‘-’.
    Position 1: Gas sensor only.
    Position 3: Flow switch only.
Position 5: Gas sensor + flow switch.

  4. Save the configuration by pressing the ‘+’ button until you return to the previous menu.
