NOTES:
PUMP DRAINAGE
Pump must be mounted so that the base is at a higher level then the such on
and discharge fing.
It is necessary that the second and discharge lines be at a slight drab for
proper draining.
PRIME PORT INSTALLATION
The prime port must be installed at a level of 2 inches below the water level
of the tub.
Make sure the barb connection is poling downward.
MICRO BUBBLE NOZZLE‐WALL FITTING PLACEMENT
The installation of the micro bubble nozzle (6), must be in the discharge line
12 inches from the wall fing (7).
Install on Guidelines
PUMP PLACEMENT (MB15000XCB)
When mounting the pump, the height must be at a level so the drain port is a
minimum of one inch above the top of the confusing for proper drainage.
PRIME PORT INSTALLATION (MBPPF)
The MBPPF (2) must be installed 2‐3 inches below the water level and requires
a 1/8 inch flex tubing from the pump prime port barb to the prime port
connection. Two hose clamps part# 700125 are provided for both ends to be
clamped).
The pump prime port to the prime port fi ng needs to as short as possible with
no tube sagging or the pump will not prime. (The connection to the prime port
fig is to insure that all air is vented from the pump or it will not pump
water)
DRAIN PORT ASSEMBLY (MBDPA)
The MBDPA (3) is to be installed in the discharge plumbing between the nozzle
and the MBPTA (4), it is supplied with a 1/4 barb fi ng for connection to the
drain port with 1/4 inch flex tubing. (two hose clamps to secure the tubing are
provided, part# 700250)
IMPORTANT
The barb fing should be horizontal when assembled to the plumbing, it is
extremely important that this assembly is installed upstream of the nozzle
assembly (MBNZA).
PRESSURE TANK ASSEMBLY (MBPTA)
The MBPTA(4) is supplied fully assembled. Two 1/2 inch elbows are supplied
unconnected to the tank. The tank has been assembled using a torque of 95.
lbs to secure lid to body. (Please note the tank is ABS and the elbows are
PVC.) Once the plosion of the tank is determined, the elbows are to be
installed on the tank using WELD ON 794 ABS to PVC solvent welding cement.
(DO NOT USE STANDARD PVC SOLVENT CEMENT)
IMPORTANT‐ This is a pressure tank opera ng at 50 PSI and it’s
important to welding procedure.
Do not open the pressure tank if a problem occurs, return the tank intact.
AIR INJECTOR ASSEMBLY (MBAIAC)
The MBAIAW(5) connects to the Pump union assembly and has a 3/4 inch elbow to
connect the suction pipe.
MB NOZZLE ASSEMBLY (MBNZA)
The MBNZA(6) is to be located in the discharge plumbing a minimum of 12 inches
from the wall fing connection. The elbow must be connected to the nozzle in a
down plosion. This is to insure proper drainage.
WALL BODY (MBWB)
One Wall Fing (7) and one Body (7A) are provided for the tub installation and
are to be installed equal distance from each other.
Note: Trim Fing MBTF‐XX (7B) is sold separately because they come in
different color finishes.
(To be specified by customer at the me of purchase.)
PUMP UNION ASSEMBLY‐DISCHARGE (MBPUA‐100)
The pump discharge piping is 1/2 inch.
The connections to the pump are made with a 1 inch NPT elbow assembled to a
1/2 inch union, part number MBPUA‐ 100.
PUMP UNION ASSEMBLY‐SUCTION (MBPUA‐101)
The pump second piping is 3/4 inches up to the air injector assembly.
The air injector, part number MBAIAC is 1/2 inch piping to the pump in order
to insure proper introduce on of air into the pump.
