Safety Precautions
- This product should not be exposed to rain or humidity to avoid the risk of electric shock
- -If the appliance is no longer in use and you decide not to repair it, it is recommended to render it unusable by cutting the power cord. Do not bring the power cord close to flammable objects.
Product Limitations
- This product is not designed for use outdoors or with remote controls. Before each use, check the power cord for any damage.
- Do not subject the product to impacts as it may cause damage. Use only original and compatible spare parts and accessories.
- Do not use the product under or next to flammable materials such as curtains, heat sources, cold zones, or steam. The product may emit smoke during initial use and can become very hot.
Cooking and Handling
- Handle freshly cooked food with care.
- For gas models, the cooking plates remain hot for several minutes after turning off the product and should not be touched.
- The cooking time and plate size may vary depending on the desired cooking temperature and the size of the plate used.
- After use, unplug the product and wait for all parts to cool down before storing or cleaning. Use soft sponges for cleaning.
- Place the hotplate on stable and flat surfaces.
Cleaning
- Do not immerse the product in water or other liquids. Do not let water or other liquids enter the cooking surfaces.
- Avoid using abrasive or metallic sponges for cleaning. Clean the cooking surface with a damp sponge and dishwashing detergents.
- For cleaning the main body, temperature control knob, and cover, use a damp cloth.

The following are important notes on the installation, use, and maintenance; save this instruction manual for future reference; use the equipment only as specified in this guide; any other use is considered improper and dangerous; therefore, the manufacturer cannot be held responsible in the event of damages caused by improper, incorrect or unreasonable use. Before use, ensure the equipment is undamaged; if in doubt, do not attempt to use it and contact the authorized service center; do not leave packing materials (i.e. plastic bags, polystyrene foam, nails, staples, etc.) within reach of children as they are potential sources of danger; always remember that they must be separately collected. Make sure that the rating information given on the technical label is compatible with those of the electricity grid; the installation must be performed according to the manufacturer’s instructions considering the maximum power of the appliance as shown on the label; an incorrect installation may cause damage to people, animals or things, for which the manufacturer cannot be considered responsible thereof. If it is necessary to use adapters, multiple sockets or electrical extensions, use only those that comply with current safety standards; in any case, do not exceed the power consumption limits indicated on the electrical adapter and/or extensions, as well as the maximum power is shown on multiple adaptors. If the power cord is damaged, or in case of failure and/or malfunction do not
tamper with the unit. The reparation must be done by the manufacturer or by a
service center authorized by the manufacturer in order to prevent any risk.
Failure to comply with the above may compromise the unit’s safety and
invalidate the warranty.
WARNING : This appliance includes a heating function. Surfaces, other
than functional surfaces may develop high temperatures. Since temperatures are
perceived differently by different people, this device should be used with
CAUTION. Hold the appliance exclusively to grip surfaces intended to be
touched.

- The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or a separate remote-control system.

Do not use near or under flammable materials (like curtains), heat, cold spots, and steam.
GENERAL INFORMATION
When you first use the unit, the grill plates may emit some smoke. Do not
worry because after a few uses the smoke will disappear.
To avoid the risk of burns, when the unit is working, only touch the knobs
since other parts may become very hot. Handle with care freshly-cooked food.
CAUTION : The hot plate is different from the gas one: after turning off the product, plates remain hot for several minutes and should never be touched.
- Use the product only for the purpose for which it was designed; using pots or containers suitable for cooking. Use containers suitable for the dimensions of plates. Never leave the appliance unattended while it is running. Once finished using the appliance, unplug it and wait for the complete cooling of each part before storing or cleaning the unit. Only use a soft sponge to clean the plates.
- Do not immerse the unit in water or other liquids. Do not leave it under the stream of tap water. In any case avoid water or other liquids sliding on the cooking surfaces. Place the unit on a stable surface. Do not use as a support for objects.
- When the unit is running, leave enough space on either side of the product.
- Considering the high power of appliance, do not use multiple sockets to connect it to the electrical outlet.

OPERATING
This cooking plate is suitable for cooking and heating many foods through normal pots and pans.
- Place the unit on a flat and stable surface, leaving enough space on both sides of the product, then connect the electric plug to the power outlet.
- Set the desired temperature by turning the temperature control knob (1) to a position between (MINIMUM) and (MAXIMUM). The temperature control light (2) will light on indicating that the plate (4) is warming up, once the set temperature is reached the light goes out, during normal operation, the light comes on intermittently indicating that the temperature is maintained.
- When the light turns off, the plate is ready for cooking.
- During cooking it is advisable to periodically check the condition of the food to prevent burning. CAUTION: since it takes time to switch from high to low temperatures, the plate cools down very slowly. Be careful to avoid overcooking or burning food.
- Once finished cooking, turn the knob (1) in the “OFF” position, unplug the unit, and wait for the complete cooling down of every part before starting cleaning operations.
Cleaning should be carried out as described in the following paragraph; store the unit away from heat sources and out of reach of children.
CLEANING
Unplug the unit from the electrical outlet and allow the complete cooling down of each part before starting the cleaning operations.
- Do not immerse the unit in water; do not leave it under the stream of tap water. In any case, avoid water or other liquids sliding on the cooking surfaces.
- Do not use scouring or metal pads for cleaning the plates.
- Clean the cooking plate with a damp sponge and dishwashing detergents.
- Clean the main body (3), the knob (1) and the cover with a damp cloth.
