SYLVANIA 61833 Luminaires UltraLED Cutoff Wall Pack
Introduction
The Wall Pack luminaires are environmentally preferable LED alternatives to traditional HID luminaires. Ideal in place of traditional luminaires, or as new installations, the Wall Pack series is offered in five wattages/lumen packages for illuminating building exteriors, outdoor corridors, walkways, and stairwells.

PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE ATTEMPTING INSTALLATION
- To avoid the risk of fire, explosion, or electric shock, this product should be installed, inspected, and maintained by a qualified electrician only, in accordance with all applicable electrical codes.
- To avoid electric shock, serious injury, or death, be certain that all electrical power is disconnected from the supply branch circuit conductors before installing or maintaining this fixture.
- This product must be installed and maintained in accordance with the applicable installation codes by a person familiar with the construction and operation of the product and the hazards involved.
- Use Min 90 C supply conductors
- Make sure the supply voltage is the same as the rated luminaire voltage.
- Do not install where marked operating temperatures exceed the ignition temperature of the hazardous atmosphere.
- Do not operate in ambient temperatures above those indicated on the luminaire nameplate.
- Be certain electrical power is OFF before and during installation and maintenance.
- Luminaire must be connected to a wiring system with an equipment- grounding
CORRELATED COLOR TEMPERATURE (CCT) SELECTION:
THIS PRODUCT IS CAPABLE OF PROVIDING 3000K, 4000K OR 5000K
CCT SETTING: Inside of the fixture mounted somewhere on the back plate you
will find a switch showing the three
CCT options available. Select the desired CCT by setting the switch to the
corresponding setting.
JUNCTION BOX MOUNTING:

Turn of Power. Take out the luminaire and loosen the screws on the cover with the aid of a screwdriver. Disconnect the quick connect terminal and remove the front cover (Fig 1-1A-B)

Drill the appropriate holes that match most junction-boxes at the back of the fixture (Fig 1-2A). Install the provided self-adhesive gasket to the back of the fixture (Fig 1-2B).

Remove the plug on the back of the fixture (Fig 1-3A). Pull the wiring through exposed hole and secure the back housing to the junction box onto the wall (Fig 1-3B).

Make electrical connections per electric code. Connect black wire to LINE, White wire to NEUTRAL and Green or Green/Yellow to GROUND (Fig. 1-4). Re-attach the front cover of the fixture and re connect the quick connect terminal (Fig1-5A).

Tighten the screws loosened in step 1. Installation is complete (Fig1-5B). Turn power on.
SURFACE CONDUIT MOUNTING:

Turn off the power. Take out the luminaire and loosen the screws on the cover with the aid of a screwdriver. Disconnect the quick connect terminal and remove the front cover (Fig 1-1A-B).

Secure fixture to the wall. (Fig 2-2B-C).

Remove the appropriate threaded plug (top or sides) from the housing to allow conduit entry and attach conduit. Make electrical connections per electrical code. Connect black wire to LINE, white wire to COMMON and Green or Green/Yellow to GROUND. Make sure any holes are sealed with a weatherproof sealant. (Fig. 2-3A-B).
- Re-attach the front cover of the fixture and re-connect the quick connect connector (Fig. 2-4A). Make sure the door gasket is properly seated around the perimeter. Close front cover and secure by tightening the two screws loosen on step 1. (Fig 2-4B). Installation is complete. Turn power on.
EMERGENCY BATTERY BACKUP WIRING:
If your product includes emergency battery backup please use the following
electrical diagram as a reference.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- To maintain the fixture efficacy occasional cleaning of the outer lens surface may be needed.
- Use a mild soap or detergent, which is essentially neutral pH (pH approximately 6 to 8), nonabrasive, and which contains no chlorinated or aromatic hydrocarbons.
- Wash thoroughly, using a soft cloth.
- Rinse with clean, cold water and wipe dry
TROUBLE SHOOTING CHECKLIST: If luminaire does not work
- Check your power source.
- Check electrical connections.
Disable Photocell
- To disable, unplug the connector shown below highlighted with red arrow.
