DANGEROUS VOLTAGE:
The lightning flash with arrowhead symbol, within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of uninsulated dangerous voltage within the product’s enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons.

  5. CLEANING
    Unplug this product from the wall outlet before cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners. Use a dry cloth for cleaning.

  6. ATTACHMENTS
    Do not use attachments not recommended by the product’s manufacturer as they may cause hazards.

  7. WATER AND MOISTURE
    Do not use this product near water-for example: near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink or laundry tub; in a wet basement; or near a swimming pool.

  8. VENTILATION
    Slots and openings in the cabinet and in the back or bottom are provided for ventilation, to ensure reliable operation of the product and to protect it from overheating. These openings must not be blocked or covered. The openings should never be blocked by placing the product

  9. POWER SOURCES
    This product should be operated only from the type of power source indicated on the marking label. If you are not sure of the type of power supply to your home, consult your appliance dealer or local power company. For products intended to operate from battery power, or other sources, refer to the operating instructions.

  10. GROUNDING OR POLARIZATION
    This product is equipped with a polarized alternating- current line plug (a plug having one blade wider than the other). This plug will fit into the power outlet only one way. This is a safety feature. If you are unable to insert the plug fully into the outlet, try reversing the plug. If the plug should still fail to fit, contact your electrician to replace your obsolete outlet. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug.

  11. POWER-CORD PROTECTION
    Power-supply cords should be routed so that they are not likely to be walked on or pinched by items placed upon or against them, paying particular attention to cords at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the appliance.

  12. LIGHTNING
    To protect your product from a lightning storm, or when it is left unattended and unused for long periods of time, unplug it from the wall outlet . This will prevent damage to the product due to lightning and power-line surges.

  13. OVERLOADING
    Do not overload wall outlets and extension cords as this can result in a risk of fire or electric shock.

  14. OBJECT AND LIQUID ENTRY
    Never push objects of any kind into this product through openings as they may touch dangerous voltage points or short out parts that could result in fire or electric shock. Never spill or spray any type of liquid on the product.

  15. SERVICING
    Do not attempt to service this product yourself as opening or removing covers may expose you to dangerous voltage or other hazards. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.

  16. REPLACEMENT PARTS
    When replacement parts are required, be sure the service technician uses replacement parts specified by the manufacturer or those that have the same characteristics as the original part. Unauthorized substitutions may result in fire, electric shock or other hazards.

  17. SAFETY CHECK
    Upon completion of any service or repairs to this product, ask the service technician to perform safety checks to determine that the product is in proper operating condition.

  18. DAMAGE REQUIRING SERVICE
    Unplug the product from the wall outlet and refer servicing to qualified service personnel under the following conditions:

    • When the power-supply cord or plug is damaged.
    • If liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the product.
    • If the product has been exposed to rain or water.
    • If the product does not operate normally by following the operating instructions. Adjust only those controls that are covered by the operating instructions, as an adjustment of other controls may result in damage and will often require extensive work by a qualified technician to restore the product to its normal operation.
    • If the product has been dropped or the cabinet has been damaged.
    • When the product exhibits a distinct change in performance this indicates a need for service.

    The product should be situated away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves or other products (including amplifiers) that produce heat.

Power Connection

Plug the included AC/DC power adapter (100-240V 50/60Hz 5V/2.4A) into the DC jack on the rear of the unit and the other end is plugged into the wall outlet.

Battery Backup

The battery backup is intended for short power outages only. The clock radio’s primary functions cannot run off of the battery backup alone.
Requires 2, AAA Size, batteries (Not Include)

Setting Clock

  1. In standby mode, press and hold the PRESET & CLOCK BUTTON.
  2. The hours will blink. Press TUNING DOWN & HOUR BUTTON to set the current hour.
  3. Press the TUNING UP & MINUTE BUTTON to set the current minute.
  4. Press PRESET & CLOCK BUTTON once and the current time is set.
    NOTE: The PM indicator will light when the hour is set in the PM

Setting Sleep Timer
When listening to radio, press SNOOZE BUTTON to enter sleep mode.
You can just adjust the sleep timer from 10 to 90 minutes by pressing the SNOOZE BUTTON.
The unit will automatically turn off after the selected time expires.

Alarm Operation

Setting the Alarm

  1. If in radio mode, press and hold the POWER & SOURCE BUTTON to turn the unit off.
  2. Press the VOLUME DOWN & ALARM ONE BUTTON or VOLUME UP & ALARM TWO BUTTON.
  3. Press the TUNING DOWN & HOUR BUTTON to adjust the hour.
    • The PM indicator will light when the hour is set in the PM
  4. Press the TUNING UP & MINUTE BUTTON to adjust the minute.
    • The Alarm One or Alarm Two indicator will come on.
  5. Press the VOLUME DOWN & ALARM ONE BUTTON or VOLUME UP & ALARM TWO BUTTON repeatedly to switch between Radio, Buzzer or Off.
  6. Once the set alarm time is reached, the alarm will sound.
  7. To set the other alarm, follow the above steps and choose the alarm not currently set.

Cancelling the Alarm

  1. Follow the instructions for Setting the Alarm.
  2. Press the VOLUME DOWN & ALARM ONE BUTTON or VOLUME UP & ALARM

TWO BUTTON repeatedly until the indicator is no longer lit.

When the Alarm sounds
Press SNOOZE BUTTON to delay for an additional 9 minutes.

Press POWER & SOURCE BUTTON to turn the alarm off until the set alarm time is reached again.

USB Charge

  1. Make sure the unit is plugged into the wall

  2. Using the appropriate USB charging cable (not included), connect one end to the device and the other to the USB Charger on the unit.
    Refer to the user’s manual for your specific device for manufacturers required charging amperage as well as determining the appropriate cable for your device before charging.
    Note: This device uses a USB charging port with a 2400mA maximum charging capacity.

  3. The device will now charge.

Bluetooth Operation

Pairing a Bluetooth Device for The First Time

  1. Power on and the unit by pressing the POWER & SOURCE BUTTON.

  2. Press the POWER & SOURCE BUTTON to switch to Bluetooth mode and
    BLUETOOTH MODE INDICATOR will blink.

  3. Using the native controls on your Bluetooth device, select the
    “PAR1012BT” in your Bluetooth settings to pair.

  4. If your device request a password, enter the default password 0000 or 1234.

  5. Refer to the user’s manual for your specific device for instructions on pairing and connecting Bluetooth devices.

  6. When successfully paired and connected, the Pairing indicator will be solid.

  7. After initial pairing, the unit will stay paired unless unpaired manually by the user or erased due to the reset of the device.

  8. If your device should become unpaired or you find it is unable to connect, repeat the above steps or press the PLAY/PAUSE/PRESET &
    CLOCK BUTTON that it can disconnect the BT connection and go into BT pairing mode.

Playing Audio through Bluetooth

  1. After successfully pairing to a device, use the native controls on the connected Bluetooth device to select a track.
  2. To play or pause the selected track, use the native controls on the connected Bluetooth device, or the PLAY/PAUSE/PRESET & CLOCK BUTTON.
  3. To skip forward or back on the select track, use the native controls on the connected Bluetooth device or the TUNE buttons on the unit.
  4. Audio played through the connected Bluetooth device will now be heard throught the speakers.

AUX IN Operation
Using the AUX IN audio Input
Require a 3.5mm audio cable (not include).

  1. Connect a 3.5mm audio cable to the AUX IN JACK on the side of the audio output on an audio device.
  2. Press the POWER & SOURCE BUTTON to turn the unit on.
  3. Press the POWER & SOURCE BUTTON to switch to AUX IN mode.
  4. Use the native controls on the connected device to play your audio through the unit.

Listening FM Radio

  1. Press the POWER & SOURCE BUTTON to turn the clock radio on
  2. Press the POWER & SOURCE BUTTON again to switch on FM radio mode.
  3. Press TUNING DOWN & HOUR BUTTON and TUNING UP & MINUTE BUTTON to adjust the radio to desired frequency.
  4. Press and hold the TUNING UP & HOUR BUTTON and TUNING DOWN & MINUTE BUTTON to search for the next available frequency.
  5. Press the POWER & SOURCE BUTTON to turn the clock radio off.

Saving a Station as Preset

  1. Follow the instructions for Tuning the FM Radio.
  2. Tune to the desired station
  3. Press and hold the PRESET & CLOCK BUTTON to save the current radio station as a preset.

Tuning to a Preset Radio Station

  1. Follow the instructions for Tuning the radio and saving a station as a preset.
  2. Press the PRESET & CLOCK BUTTON to cycle through preset radio stations.

Notes:

  • Adjust the position of the FM antenna to improve FM Radio reception.
  • This unit can store up to 20 FM radio stations presets.
